Mediators are unbiased individuals who can see both sides of a legal issue and review and explain the law to all the individuals involved in order for the parties to make an informed decision on the next course of action. As a paralegal for over 16 years, I have worked with multiple attorneys, paralegals and mediators. I never had the opportunity to work with a mediator that works so hard to settle disputes outside of Court until I began working at my current job. Mr. Golbricht is an excellent mediator who is very knowledgeable of the law, no matter what area of law, and works tirelessly to settle matters for the benefit of all parties involved. Mr. Golbricht is always our first choice for any mediation.

Hugh boles or should I say Hugh boles dozer(bullzdozer) is an an amazing attorney and his energy is essentially non compatible to any other law firm, iv dealt with a few in my time he has literally been able to put the opposing party in their place within 15 minutes and that is factual I completely individually endorse him not a paid spokesperson at all I paid him he cost a lil but you get what you paid for hands down Hugh boles for attorney asap

It's really tough to sum up in a review my thoughts, observations and experience in working with Hugh and his team. First off, Hugh is an incredibly knowledgeable family law attorney with a speciality few have in regards to child custody and high levels of conflict. Finding credible law firms in the Four Corners area is not easy. When it comes to credibility, there are very few attorneys I have worked with professionally whom have his level of decorum, respect and ability to listen. My divorce was overly complex with thousands of filings, mounds of documents / content and involved a history very few could grasp. Hugh was able to grasp it quickly, stay focused, maintain the course and proved to be impressively organized. The communication from Hugh and his team was always timely. The sensitively to very tough emotional issues was surprising. There were no promises outside of making it to the finish line. I also must note his integrity with billing. His billing practices are almost too ethical. It is clear that Hugh values his integrity with how his firm bills more so than his clients. You just do not see that out of law firms, period. Hugh got my family to the finish line. I am now a happily divorced human whom has the full responsibility and blessed future to raise two little humans after two years of what seemed to be an impossible ending. I am incredibly grateful for Hugh. He stood tall to the end when many would not. Yes, there are not enough stars to reflect the review and how highly I recommend him.

I do not recommend Durango Family Law in any form or fashion. Lack of professionalism, lack of communication, simple lack of empathy. As any locals in the Durango area know services are limited and can take many months to even receive a call back—Durango Family Law is no different. Apparently they do not need our business. I have taken on the immense responsibility of caretaking for my adult nephew who struggles with paranoid schizophrenia. If you have dealt with a family member with this disease, you know how heart wrenching the process of helping them navigate behavioral health or any systems and resources can be. Everything is a long drawn out process- in a very broken system. I understand understaffed and overworked professionals in these organizations. I truly do! Often you are a case number only and completely dehumanized. However, we did wait a long period to be even taken on as clients or contacted. Once the $4.500 retainer was made, that’s where the breakdown in simple communication and any compassion ended. It’s so unfortunate that with all the red tape and politics of most systems in this country, we even have to experience mistreatment in our small underserved communities. When we tried to get in touch with our Lawyer, she was always busy. She didn’t return phone calls, or even reach out via email. I would have understood that I would have to wait a few days or week before a conversation or meeting could occur. The lawyers assistant seemed even more unprofessional. The assistant who was always short and inconvenienced, never offered to make an apt time to speak with said Lawyer. It was just exasperation in her voice that I was asking when I might discuss the case with the lawyer that we had retained. I pray no one ever has to live or caretake for a family member that you love with paranoid schizophrenia, it’s a terribly debilitating, gut wrenching disease! Then when you try to work with the legal system and behavioral health system, even more road blocks are put into your place. I’m sorry I am stretched thin, financially struggling and mentally exhausted. I simply requested and needed information regarding a serious case for myself and disabled family member. Best of luck to anyone trying to navigate guardianship process, definitely in Durango, CO.
