High Net Worth Warning This is a fact-based review of a reprehensible performance by the Curtis Law firm. My case was a high-net-worth case requiring some degree of strategy. It initiated in March of 2020 culminating in March of 2021. The reason for the long delay centered upon protecting my financial health from a highly degreed and skilled pharmacist spouse. To protect me, my first attorney (of three) stanchly advocated: • A full day in court as our case was complicated and anything less would not provide adequate time to make our case • A vocational expert witness that could assess my former spouse’s opportunities relative to her skills and abilities within her hometown as she worked part-time, did not have disabilities and our remaining child was 17+ This was a good plan and I signed on paying for the expert witness and awaiting my day in court. During the interval between June 2020 and March 2021 my “X” spent: • 25 thousand dollars in August • 5 thousand dollars in December • 18 thousand dollars between Jan and March 2021 • None recoverable My attorney turned over an additional time (attorney #2) approximately two weeks before my court case. Mr. Curtis stepped in and did the best he could with the time he had to prepare. Unfortunately, the previous attorney failed to introduce the expert witness, my central piece of evidence, and failed to update the home appraisal. The secondary effects of these failures negated the reason for the long delay to present evidence during a full day in court which enabled the “X” to have unrestrained access to joint funds to do further damage to my financial well-being. Bottom line, the Curtis Law Firm can easily execute paperwork for an amicable divorce and they are very nice people, but ill equipped to face aggressive law firms with top talent.

Very disappointed. I had an appointment with Curtis yesterday afternoon @4pm and was running late from work. I contacted him and informed him that I was on my way and about 44minutes away from his office. He acknowledged and said that's fine! After driving over an hour with traffic I arrived at his office where I learned he shut off his phone and closed his office for the night. It would of been nice to get a simple call and let me know we need to reschedule because obviously he had prior engagements. Instead, no bother,no call, just left hanging. I'm glad this happened so I know how business is done at his office. I hate to write a comment like this but I still haven't gotten a follow up call explaining anything or what happened which I feel is very unprofessional as an attorney and CPA which Carl is. He sounds like a great guy but obviously doesn't care about about others and unforeseen situations or I would of gotten a call back.. Thanks for your time Carl, I will not be reaching out too you again for anything else,I wish you and your firm all the Best!! TG-

Ms Megan handled a difficult case for me without hesitation. She kept me informed throughout the process which, at times was very trying for her giving the circumstances. She did a great job!
