After two other lawyers cancelled on me I was frantically calling around trying to find someone to represent me in my emotionally draining case. Unfortunately all I got from the lawyer I spoke with was "Your court date is wednesday?! I don't have anyone that can help you." A little kindness goes a long way. And I didn't receive any here. That's not what I needed in the midst of going through this court case. I hope he handles the next person better.

This law firm is garbage!!they will take all your money, not have you or your child's best interest to say the least michael O brien left me to defend myself and the rights of children at the last minute after 9 months of case building and without time to retain another attorney resulted in loosing custody of my children whom so desperately want to live with me there father! I caution anyone who is thinking of hiring this law firm .

Randy Golden was amazing in guiding me through a tough cross border divorce case. Not only was he supportive, he gave me choices and kept me informed and involved over a protracted 143 week case. When it came time for trial he was perfectly prepared, and presented with astounding elegance. I went in expecting the worst, and came out with so much more that I ever anticipated! I am not sure what the last reviewer meant by the mediation complaint, but I do know that mediation is absolutely confidential. It would serve no purpose otherwise. I couldn't have asked for a better lawyer to represent me through the entire divorce process than Michael O'Brien. From day one Michael provided realistic legal advise as it pertains to fathers rights and stepped me through the process to obtain the best parenting schedule possible. I hired Michael O'Brien for a child custody case. Michael's superior knowledge of family law and familiarity with the Northern CO jurisdiction won a favorable outcome in my son's best interests. I would say Michael's strengths include: knowing when to settle and when to go to court, accurately assessing the court's position on issues, and professionalism. I appreciate that Michael never wasted my time nor his when he was on the clock. I've heard it said 98% of lawyers make the other 2% look bad; Michael is definitely one of the 2%!!
