I wish I had written this review for Karlee Stoppenhagen soon after my divorce was complete. Alas, I am late with my praise report. Although I was not a co-petitioner in my divorce, I believe that Karlee helped me maintain my integrity, while protecting me from the onslaught that was coming from the other side of the table. Even in the face of vitriolic assaults and unprofessional delays from opposing counsel, Karlee remained vigilant, purely professional and even cordial to the opposition (Heaping burning coals...). What was even more important to me, she helped me maintain my faith-based perspective throughout the proceedings. Although I would prefer to never have needed her, I was truly blessed that she was on my side through the most painful emotional event of my life. God Bless You Karlee!!!

Joshua Ritter and his team literally invoiced me for the same thing over and over again and basically stole over 30k and had no good outcome at the end. I fired him and he still took payments from me. He withdrew from my case and took more money. This law firm is the absolute worst! Stay away if all possible. They will charge you for things you don’t authorize and will say they had “meetings” cause they couldn’t figure it out on their own and overcharged you and literally exhaust every saving you could of possibly have or had.

Unethical to their own clients.... It was truly an unbelievable ending with this firm after spending tens of thousands of dollars with them. My case has been closed for over eight months, and the attorney from this firm stayed on record as attorney. Therefore, knowing no action had occurred since the case closed, she initiated communication with me to "check in" (maybe a couple of sentences in an email- to see how things were going). It was random and something we never discussed doing. Rather, if an issue arose, I could reach out to them. Regardless, I quickly informed her nothing was going on. She then charged me for her time and claimed she provided a service. What's more, the attorney initiated this conversation on a closed case, where no action was required, and then proceeded to charge my credit card without my consent. This firm intentionally baited me into a conversation with no value to charge me money; it was cheap and unethical behavior. After seeing this, I should have been more vigilant about their billings during my court case, but I trusted they had my best interest at heart. This firm is willing to trip over thousands of dollars to chase pennies and put their reputation into question and ruin the relationships they have built with their clients. Its unethical and quite honestly embarrassing behavior.
