Fowler, Schimberg, Flanagan & McLetchie is a solid firm with an outstanding reputation. Each and every interaction I have had with this firm has been positive. I appreciate their integrity, as well as their commitment to helping clients favorably resolve disputes.

FYI the review by Eliana McMillan, she’s the Recruter who got over16k for placing me here. They had my regular review & said how great I was doing & the very next week they called me in to say, we’re going in a different direction, we have nothing bad to say about you, you’re a good worker, said by partner during lay-off meeting. They provided a measly severance, which if I did file for unemployment, I would’ve won hands down. they threw a couple pennies at me thinking it would prevent a claim of unemployment. The only reason they offered the chump change was in hopes (in their mind) it would save them from a claim.I’m very employable, I wouldn’t waste my time. During the layoff, there was an “hr” girl in the room, she didn’t say anything, her and the partner just stared at one another and avoided looking at me. Nothing further was said to me, I was waiting to hear about final pay benefits, pay, nothing, I was left with no information, very unprofessional.Very classless they let me go the very last day of the month so my health benefits were immediately terminated. This put me in a very difficult situation re:continue health treatment I was going through. They also prevented (& continue) me from withdrawing my funds from my HSA. From the looks of it, they plan on keeping my money. They probably figure they are lawyers & can do whatever they want, they are bullies & that is my $ for healthcare. It has been about three months since I left the company and I’m still trying to get my HSA funds. Also they didn’t report my hsa funds on my w2. I took this job through the recruiting agency, through information & belief, they know this company treats their employees poorly.I gained no experience, they have no document management system, you work out of the drives on the computer. If you want another job, your new employer is going to view you as inexperienced because you have not developed any of the needed technological skills. If you don’t work with a document management system and a case management system such as Exterro or relativity and tabs, legal files, needles, pro law, your value is going to go way down. Working at this company will not provide you with experience & you need to stay marketable. Working at this company, will make your value godown. The paralegals are treated as admins & they have a receptionist doing legal assistant work, they have a 29-year-old with no accounting experience running the books and acting as hr, this place is Disorganized. If you value your career and see yourself staying in the legal field, I advised to stay far away from this company because it will do nothing but be a damaging blemish on your resume. This is a very personal experience, which had a very bad profound effect on my life, because they decided to be classless and cut my health benefits off the very same day they laid me off. Also the fact that I have not been able to get my HSA money and they’re doing nothing about it to get my earned money returned makes me think there is something fishy going on with their system. It’s horrible cutting somebody’s health benefits off the very same day that they lay a person off. And no cobra info was ever provided. This directly affirms that these partners and this company do not value their employees whatsoever. They are heartless, this had a profoundly negative impact on my health and on my livelihood. I believe the public needs to know what type of employer this is.I seriously considered not leaving a review, but my new coworkers and mentors advised me to because they said, how would you feel if this happened to someone else, you knew about it, & you didn’t report/review/warn about it. Aka re lay offs and loss of needed health benefits without warnining#me too movement (employers violating basic human decency). Speak up let other people know about places like this.Glass door keeps on deleting all Fowler reviews, so I’m going with the tried, true and honest..google review page. It really is the only honest review system out there. Don’t trust glassdoor employers pay for removal of bad reviews.

Very knowledgeable, meticulous and has a strong reputation. Especially for complicated and high net worth estate planning. I highly recommend.
