Todd and his team are phenomenal and will go to work and fight for you. My mother had been dealing with a very difficult situation for years and was just spinning her tires all while not seeing any movement with her case and she began to envision a bad result. That is when she took her case to Burnham Law, Todd and Matthew stepped in and immediately created progress. They were extremely diligent, organized and prepared. They were mindful of my mother's needs, goals and desired results and went out and executed them to perfection. My mother had a case that looked like it had stalled out and was being dragged out...in steps the Burnham Law team to immediately jump start the case and get a resolution in a timely fashion. I was recently involved in a Modification to Spousal Maintenance which had turned rather nasty. To further complicate matters, I was living and working abroad and had just became unemployed. I brought a family member in to meet with Todd after an incident of domestic violence caused by her alcoholic husband. I think Todd recognized within the first five minutes that she had not reached "rock bottom" and was not ready to leave her husband, but he talked through the issues (both legal and emotional) and scenarios with her for over an hour, knowing full well that there likely would be no fees at the end of the consultation because she wasn't ready to accept that her husband is a bad guy. Todd shared a lot of truth and wisdom in a short amount of time, and did it in a kind and compassionate way. Attorneys sometimes get a bad rap, but it was clear in meeting with Todd that he genuinely cares about his clients, has a tremendous amount of legal and life experience in his area of practice, and would be an excellent advocate if and when the time comes. I can say unequivocally that he would be my first and only choice for a divorce attorney (hopefully I'll never need his services for myself). He's saved in my contacts so if a friend ever asks, his is the name I'm giving out.

I came to Todd for a divorce consultation and to get some legal questions answered. I could tell from the beginning of our conversation that Todd is extremely smart and strategic, and would also be tough and aggressive if necessary. He said a lot of things to me that stood out, but one of the things he said that really impressed me was that he wasn’t a “divorce pusher.” I appreciated this so much, because it meant he was actually listening to me and wasn’t just there to gain a new client at any cost.
