Michael Switzer's divorce representation was filled with multiple contradictions, narrow explanations of laws and procedures and little-to-no strategic direction. His communications often lead me to seek confirmation from other attorneys, the Internet, court clerks and the Self Help Desk at the Arapahoe Courthouse. Eventually I felt he wasn't trustworthy and acting in my best interest so I fired him. My marriage was short - just 10 months - but the divorce was highly contested over assets and property yet Mr. Switzer seemed eager to accept nearly every proposal submitted by my wife's attorney no matter how unfavorable or costly the outcome to me. Bottom line - at $300/hr I found Michael Switzer's representation to be appalling and I paid him thousands in attorney fees and had to pay tens of thousands in settlement money. My recommendation.......find another attorney - I think Mr. Switzer may be an attorney that opposing attorneys have their greatest successes against.
