I had the good fortune to have Ryen Schimerman recommended to me by a friend. When I called Ryen I had to leave a message. Much to my relief, within a very brief timeframe Ryen returned my call. Very important to me because I believe a quick response is one of the most important ways to establish a business relationship. During our initial phone call Ryen was personable, inquisitive, thorough and very professional. As we discussed my case it was determined we needed to set up a face to face appointment. Our appointment allowed us to discuss my case in more detail and layout a game plan. Based on his experience, with my particular case, Ryen gave me an idea of how long it would take to resolve my case AND how it would probably be resolved. We put our plan in place, I followed the plan as determined by Ryen and my case was resolved in a timely manner. Also my case was resolved for what I felt were reasonable fees. Finally, to anyone reading this review, I highly recommend Ryen Schimerman. If you’re looking for words I think best describe him here are a couple: LISTENING skills, knowledge, ability to communicate with clarity and his work ethic. When I hired New Leaf Family, they were very informative and said my case would be pretty simple. It turned out that it was not so simple. I had an issue with the equity that should have been owed to me with my house. Christopher decided that he could fight for me to get was owed to me for 10 years of equity instead of 3 years. I could have had him try to settle with my husband for a much lower amount that I surely did not deserve. Instead, I believed in him and chose to keep fighting it out. It took a few more months than anticipated, but it finally proved to be very successful for me. I always received very quick responses from him or his paralegal Ashleigh EVERY time. I went looking for good counsel on a complicated topic and the whole team was kind, patient, attentive, made me feel welcome and never rushed. Spent $4800 to have a motion to modify filed and that was about it. Got nowhere in the course of 3 months and could have done what they did on my own and not spent all that money. Slow to respond and never addressed some of the issues I reached out about.

Blake Sutton was awesome! He was extremely quick in responding to my legal query. He was able to answer and allay my fears, regarding my question. But then, I've come to expect that level of service from this law firm, having prior experience in another legal matter. Blake was referred to me by another attorney I'm friends with. Since then, the firm of Sutton & Sutton is my first choice for legal representation.

DO NOT HIRE If you want an attorney that will lose you an easy civil case choose Sutton. Sutton let's the judge walk all over them. Once they lose, they won't respond. Sutton caved to the judge and is not capable of being an attorney. He should probably try working at Red Robin. Wow, after 3 months of not responding to me, Sutton finally responded to this review. He does not care about you, only himself.
