When I contacted New Leaf I had no idea as to what the process would entail. It was during the intake that everything was clearly explained. While the decision to go through a divorce is never easy, the team at New Leaf Family do an excellent job of helping with the process and transition. I was really impressed with the amount of time my initial consultant, Jaqueline Zenon, spent with me prior to making the decision to file. Normally you pay for a quick 15 - 30 minute consultation with other law firms where you feel rushed and uninformed in making a decision. We contacted Shelly Dill because we had a substantial problem with Child Support Services. CSS had started to garnish wages over what it claimed were over $20,000 due in back child support. The day after she took our case, Shelly had convinced CSS to stop the garnishment. Only a few months later CSS now acknowledges that there is no back support owed, and the amount of support due each month was reduced by 400%. Shelly and her team were kind and non-judgmental and great to work with. We cannot recommend them more highly.

I absolutely loved working with Alexa Hoven and Jennifer Wurtz. My divorce consists of being married less than a year, no minors, and no assets. We had a truck in both of our names and the truck was the only thing I asked to be removed from. The respondent was consistent in being non-compliant which Alexa and Jennifer did an amazing job ensuring that deficiency letters and additional motions were put in place with the district court. The divorce process did take longer than expected however, these two ladies kept track of all the dates of events that occurred as well as being in contact with me to make sure I understood everything that was happening. Even when the respondent was rude and disrespectful, they continued to keep their professionalism intact and quickly identified the difficulties that I had endured with the respondent, as they encountered them as well. There were times where I felt defeated however, Alexa and Jennifer always made sure they empathized with the situation and my feelings as I have cried through this process!
