I’ve known Beth for about a decade. In that time, I’ve seen her work with clients in and out of court. We’ve worked together in committees with other legal professionals and judges. And, we have spent time together in CLEs (as presenters and as attendants). I’ve witnessed her professionalism and generosity. I wanted to update my previous post about Andersen Law because, over the past year or so, I have gotten to know Beth Andersen better and I realized that I also know one of her colleagues quite well. I have done special project contract work for Beth Andersen for 5 years and was most impressed with a recent project she asked my help with. She was working hard to keep her entire team engaged with remote work protocols which included learning new court procedures for her staff and clients to participate through the WebEx hearings and Zoom meetings. Despite these new challenges, she asked me to take the lead on a project to reach out to local non-profit organizations who help victims of domestic violence. Beth offered free training for staff and volunteers, and free consults to victims who wanted more information on legal options and resources available to them. It is common to see domestic violence rise during stressful and uncertain times like we are experiencing during this Covid-19 pandemic. Attorney Andersen and Attorney Wayland both participate in volunteering for community causes such as this. Several organizations did respond and requested legal information for their staff and clients. I again witnessed how much the attorneys and staff at Andersen Law PC care about not only their paying clients, but also others in the community who may need legal information and resources in family law matters.
