Attorney Cayo is very unprofessional Attorney. And not recommended to handle any cases

Cayo has only practised law since 2012 and yet he is one of the most complained about attorneys in the state. The numbers don't lie. There are at least eight grievances against him including grievance complaints: #20-0155, Bailey v. Andre Cayo, #20-0310, Lyons v. Andre Cayo, #20-0184, Broomfield v. Andre Cayo, #19-0391, Francois v. Andre Cayo, #16-0654, Spahr v. Andre Cayo, and #16-0140, Bowler v. Andre Cayo. He lays it on thick as he is a great self promoter but it is, in my opinion, an act. I believe him to be a backstabber. In my opinion he has ruined the lives of several of his clients by not doing what he is supposed to do. Also beware of the monster bill in the end. Avoid him completely.

Attorney Cayo not only will fight for you till the end but also will not let his clients to give up. In my case there were multiples lawyers on the other side and I only had Andre on my side. No matter how busy he was he would always get back to my questions or any concerns I would have. Andre is extremely knowledgeable. Attorney Cayo will fight for his clients, just recently the superior court judge in my case gave a compliment to him and the way he defended his client. He will fight for you even if the deck is stacked against him.

Attorney Cayo did just that. He did not just get a dismissal which allows the bank and its financial partners to file a new suit. Instead he got a JUDGMENT in my favor as the Defendant. When Bank of America & Fannie Mae commenced a wrongful foreclosure action against me, I defended myself personally as best I could. I am a corporate attorney, not a trial lawyer, and as a result I did not have the necessary command of the Court procedure and rules of evidence sufficient to prevail. That's where Attorney Cayo came in. Through his legal skills and experience, he demonstrated that it's not about what happened in a Case, it's about what you can prove and disprove. In Court, a defendant can be railroaded by lying big banks and lose his legal residence. In my case, the Bank had continually stalled and refused to provide me with all of the requested discovery information. They repeatedly delayed and lied to the Court, knowing that the longer they dragged the Case out, the more likely their chances for success. I was angry, frustrated and could not believe that they could do this by continuing to lie to the Court. But then I didn’t have the trial experience that their attorneys did. I didn’t know that you could lie & deny even under oath - but that’s exactly what they did, for over 3 years! That’s when I hired Attorney Cayo, who promised me that if my story was truthful and we get fair judge, we could win the case based upon a complete presentation of the evidence. He filed papers enforcing the terms and conditions as set forth in my contract with the Bank and after four (4) days of evidentiary hearings, the Court then took eight (8) months to render its decision - JUDGMENT in favor of the Defendant (06/29/2018)!. I am now counter-suing Bank of America, Fannie Mae, Seterus, and their successors in interest in Federal District Court for the State of Connecticut with Attorney Cayo as my legal counsel proposing an ad damnum of US$6,000,000.00 (CASE #:3:19-cv-01191 –RNC). The District Court has already ruled that the Superior Court decision is Res Judicata and that Bank of America & its related parties cannot re-litigate what has already been proven in Court to be an intentionally wrongful foreclosure. No other lawyer will fight harder for you than Andre. He was instrumental in getting a favorable outcome in my case. Andre kept me focused on the issues I needed to win. Who said you could not get a modification for a commercial property? Attorney Cayo got me one after the bank said no and essentially one the case on summary judgment but on a hell Mary argument, attorney Cayo challenged the bank on something and the judge agreed with him. 6 months later, the bank called him and wanted to negotiate. 6 months later on 12/31/12015, I signed my modification papers and the modification deal is so good that I can't think attorney Cayo enough. If you need an attorney who is going to fight for you, hire attorney Cayo.

Attorney Cayo has fought for us and never gave up on our case. During the extremely sad and stressful time of loosing our home to foreclosure, he did everything possible to fight for us in court. He was able to give us ample time until we were able to find a new house to call home. The best attorney in this area!

Andre Cayo is exceptional. He is dedicated to proving his clients innocence. Andre is very detail-oriented, extremely knowledgeable, and a bear in the court room. I am blessed to have met Andre. I am in the business of building homes, additions, and general contracting. In this business it is impossible to not be in litigation on a regular basis. I have 12 lawyers on speed dial in my phone and only Andre Cayo do i call on a regular basis. I have 34 years experience in construction and there have been lawyers with me every step of the way. Some take your money and do nothing, others are only negotiating on behalf of the opposition while charging me for time. One recent attorney took $ 4000.00 to bring suit for $72,000.00 owed to me. This attorney called the client direct collected $ 10,000.00 kept it, never filled any court action and claimed all kinds of expenses that had nothing to do with the case. The bar association is a good old boys club and after accepting my grievance they asked Atty Cannately to take further accounting classes. When i googled Atty C I found that this man had stolen money from his clients many times before. The bar association further told me that they are not a collection agency. You will not find an attorney that will attempt to collect for damages from the bar association. After 6 years of being told by many attorneys that they could not help i found Andre. This man is a friend on my side. I collected from the bar association because of Andre's help. Just imagine how fearless and righteous this man is that he was willing to take on the bar association on behalf of a stranger. With Andre you are working with a compassionate fellow human being. I rather not have the pretense, the bombast, the phony act that comes along with most high flying lawyers. Andre is a genuine person that has only your best interests at heart. After 34 years I can say that it is a mater of heart as to whether or not you can succeed in your struggles.
