Went above and beyond for me, I highly recommend. She is personal but professional.

We had the closing of our home with the Bartinik Law Firm. Everything went smoothly. Lori is very efficient and explains things in detail. They went above and beyond. Our closing was on a Friday, so we thought we had to wait until the following week to get our check since, due to covid, closings are not done with all parties in one room. Instead, Peter Bartinik Jr. was kind enough to bring the check to us the same day, which was a great help to us, so that we were able to leave on our RV trip sooner rather than later. We definitely recommend them!

Lori took my case on even though it seemed impossible. I might not have continued to fight for what I ultimately wanted BUT she helped keep my head on straight to accomplish what was realistic. If you are looking for a lawyer who would stand up for you no matter what, you definitely found her! She is very professional and extremely knowledgeable!

Once I became aware of my ex-husbands infidelity, I knew our 29 year marriage was over. Two of my co-workers recommended Lori to me, so I made an appointment. She is very friendly, professional, and gets the work done. She understood my situation and was happy to represent me. My ex did not want to get his own lawyer, so, he agreed to let Lori help him navigate that process. We were in agreement with the specifics of the divorce so things went smoothly. Divorce papers were served him on 5/10/2020, and the divorce was final on 7/9/2020! I am very grateful for all of her help with this very difficult situation! Thanks Lori!

Lori assisted my wife and I in getting full custody of my son on an emergency ex parte motion. I would (and do) recommend her 100% for these sorts of tough cases. Lori knew just what to do, what to say, and when to say it. I never felt like it was all about the money for her in any way. She advised caution where caution was warranted and prompted action when action was needed. She went above and beyond, even personally driving a subpoena to Norwich for the marshal to serve. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Lori showed disdain and disrespect through much of our short relationship. Her disapproval with my "lifestyle" and misplaced focus showed me she would not provide genuine defense which affected my time constrained legal choices. She wasted paid time and ignored several of my questions. I asked for my papers she was holding and she refused, scribbling them out in front of me. She lost her temper at my questions and confusion to the point of raising her voice and shouting. My requests for a detailed bill were repeatedly ignored before she finally threw one at me and I noticed she dishonestly over estimated billable hours. She quit and provided my incomplete file in a manner that I specifically asked her not to so that she could continue charging. This was an offensive, great waste of time and money.

I highly recommend the Bartinik law firm. I appreciate that they are available anytime and return calls quickly. The Bartiniks have excellent reputations and are well-known in the local courthouses. Lori makes a very difficult discussion of divorce easy and her knowledge on the subject was extensive. Excellent experience.
