Near the end of my dad's life we reached out to Lou Schatz for tax and estate legal advice and it was the best decision we made. Lou is super sharp, cautious, pragmatic, straight forward and kind. His advice saved our family money and because of the high esteem which we all had for Lou when my dad passed we had his law firm, Shipman & Goodwin, handle the estate. As a fellow attorney, I never expected to find myself in need of legal advise and assistance from one of my own.
