I have heard good things about the adoption process with this firm, however, I used this firm for a custody case. My case was not addressed appropriately. My lawyer did not do what he said he would. He apologized saying the agreement that was to be written up a month prior didn’t get done because he was busy with another case. I reached out to the firm asking for help. Meghan not only refused to help me, she charged me for asking for help. She then lied to me saying I was having issues because “I didn’t want to hear what my lawyer had to say”. I never complained about anything Mike had to say. I was asking that an agreement be written as promised. She then demanded I speak to him on the phone saying what I requested was “outside the court’s authority”. This was agin a lie. Mike had nothing new to tell me, only discuss what we already discussed. I again asked him to write up the agreement. At this point it had been 1 month I was waiting. I finally secured a new lawyer, however, they could only take my case if I was granted a continuance. That was denied by the judge and I faced a trial self represented completely unprepared as my lawyer did nothing he said he would to prepare for it. Meghan did nothing to help me. This treatment cost me $10,000. I absolutely would not recommend this firm. I understand they are busy but a client should be able to reach out for help when things are not done as promised and receive intervention from them. This did not happen. Find a firm who cares about your case and the outcome.
