Atty Klein took on a High Profile case for a family member and was able to Succeed in the best possible outcome for our family. Communication is big for me and although he has lot on his plate he made sure to be easily accessible via in person and phone. Atty Klein allowed for our family to communicate with him via his personal cell at any time of the day and night to answer questions and advise on what to do in times where our backs were against the wall. I have had a mental health condition for over 25 years now and because I often refused to take my medication I racked up a pretty extensive criminal history. A rap sheet. When I received charges of Robbery, Threatening, and Assault I feared I would be doing some more jail time probably like a year or so. Fortunately, a bail bondsman recommended Attorney Klein to my wife. We had a consultation with him. After reading the police report and asking me a few questions Atty. Klein immediately noticed that there was no Robbery and no way that a judge would convict me on that charge. Right away he was going to take the felony out of the equation. He also said that because there were mitigating circumstances he could probably get the two misdemeanors of 2nd degree Threatening and 3rd degree Assault reduced to probation. I was confident in his ability after speaking with him and seeing some of his testimonials on the wall in his waiting room. So we retained him. In the first meeting with the prosecutor, the prosecutor brought to the surface that I had fourteen convictions. I was worried, but confident in my counsel. Atty. Klein did just what he said he was going to do and he got the Robbery charge thrown out. So now we were left with two charges, one of them being violent. Atty. Klein told the prosecutor we could settle with a short amount of probation. I was still a little worried that the prosecutor might not agree to my Attorney's proposal but Atty. Klein informed me that the prosecutor was considering it based on how the victim reacted. So we had to wait longer while the victim's advocate did their job. It turns out God was with me because the victim did not want to condemn me but just to see me get some help. So when all the dust finally cleared after long continuances do to Covid 19. Atty. Klein did exactly what he said he could do in his consultation and the Robbery charge was dismissed and I was able to plead out to two misdemeanors and ended up with a short probation. At the time I was eligible for a public defender, but after years of dealing with court system I know that had I chose to take that course my outcome would not have been as good. A public defender also known as public pretender in the incarceration system and is a state's attorney just as a prosecutor is a state's attorney. In my experience they are just there to facilitate ease of operations between the judge and the prosecutor and the accused. They don't take the time to really hear you out or fight for your case. If you are facing charges spend the money and hire a good private attorney because in the long run you'll be glad you did. And if you need to hire a good private attorney hire Atty. Attorney Klein represented me in 2011 for Larceny 1 charges due to embezzling. I was facing 7 years imprisonment and he was able to see past the stereotypes that are casted upon those that embezzle and represented me knowing my lack of defense.
