I was asked to reformat a spreadsheet I had spent easily 10-15 hours on immediately after I had submitted it. I had asked for a template. None was offered. When I asked why it needed to be reformatted I was told , in an email “he does not look at screens and I can’t print it like this” I’m sorry, what? This is after he overpaid his good friend my ex wife’s lawyer 5,500 and didn’t even offer an apology. That’s what you’re getting here.

We originally went to them to ask questions about a custody issue. The woman was very friendly and helpful. We decided not to pursue a legal option. Because of the first interaction, we went to get our will and set up a family trust. Rachel was very nice, but the work was never completed. Another woman called, the day before she was leaving, to tell us that Rachel left and the 2nd woman now had our case. Told her we didn't want the 2nd person to handle it if she was leaving the next day. It was supposed to be turned over to someone else (not sure to whom). It's been a year and half. Nothing. We'll go somewhere else. After our initial good reactions the first and 2nd time, we went there a 3rd time for assistance. It's been more than a year, and still no resolution. Communication has been horrible. Very few returned phone calls, emails or acknowledgements to my emails. When we do talk to the attorney, he is very nice. I do like him. But, having absolutely no idea what is going on is extremely frustrating. Between the lack of communication/ completion on the will and family trust and the lack of communication on the 2nd case, we'll be going elsewhere in the future as the need arises. I recently had another legal case come up that could have been quite profitable for the firm. I chose another firm in Hartford because of the way we've been treated thus far. The Hartford firm contacted me immediately, sent me acknowledgements when emails were sent as requested, set up appointments to talk with me and were prompt on the phone calls. Received a phone call shortly afterward to let me know the status/progress of the case. Everyone I've dealt with at this new firm has been very kind, friendly, and personable. They also have multiple locations and still find the time to acknowledge me as a client. This is how a business should be run
