Kenneth represented us in a real estate transaction for a new construction in Fairfield County, Connecticut. We ended up not proceeding with the purchase partly due to our experience with Ken Gruder. Working with Mr. Gruder left us confused throughout the entire process. While he was reachable, his responses ranged from 1-3 words which included, "Yes" "No" and "Depends." His advice included waiting until we received certain documents and then once we received the documents, he failed to interpret the documents clearly or advise us on a clear path forward. This substandard work on the project did not stop him from sending us an $850 bill despite not completing the contract, price negotiations, or a title search. There were errors that we had to point out such as an update to the purchase price once the price was renegotiated. Terrible experience

We have used Ken’s services 25 times and recommend him and his firm at least 100 times since 2003. He is the most knowledgeable and protective attorney I have ever used. He is respected by the other side and his empathy towards his clients is very comforting. Every person I have recommended to Ken has thanked me. I am in Real estate as a Landlord, broker and client.
