Before I met Ben, I had a horrible experience with a lawyer/firm who I thought had excellent credentials. I did my homework by researching its beautiful website, nice office with coffee in Long Island, NY, etc., but to my surprise they were the worst service I have ever experienced (and I am in Sales/ Customer Service).
They never picked up the phone, never replied to my emails and when I had someone one on the phone, I had to go over my case again and again. They overcharged me without having any court hearings and no advancements for almost 1 year in my divorce case, the second lawyer from the firm was worse than the first one.
As a result, I decided to drop this firm and did not want them to represent me any longer.
At the time my ex was harassing me, the courts were an unknown process for me, and the judges were unpleasant to deal with. It was a very stressful time.
I found Ben through a friend’s reference, she said he ended complicated cases successfully.
My ex was making everything expensive by stalling the process in any way he could, he had the money to play with because he was not paying child support.
In a one-hour meeting with Ben, he did more than the other firm did in the one year they had represented me:
• He quickly understood my case;
• All assets involved
• Custody of my daughter
• Child support
• He was realistic, not raising my expectations that we could end the divorce too quickly.
Finally, Ben had a strategy that gave me a couple of options to deal with my ex’s unpredictable behavior.
He made me feel confident he was taking care of my case, not like the other lawyers that did not even know my name after thousands of dollars wasted.
He strategically got my ex in court by filing 2 motions.
The result is my ex, after trying to escape his responsibility, settled the divorce case by signing the papers.
I recommend Ben’s services because it is hard to find a lawyer that is considerate of your situation and really cares.

Katie Gomez was my attorney in 2018. She was able to get my criminal sentence down to a 2 year probation and 25 hours community service. My case would be esponge as long as I do not get any additional charges during my probation. They kept me up to date with everything regarding my case in a timer manner. I didn't have to call or chase anyone unless I wanted to gain information on my own. Great customer service from the beginning from me getting a consultation to my case being closed. PAY ATTENTION!!!!! I reached out to King because he had good reviews. He literally was the first & only lawyer I reached out to (also the 1st one that popped up..lol) thank GOD! Mr. King is a stellar attorney!! I consulted Jeff when I was made to show cause for false official statement and fraternization and was immediately impressed by him. He came highly recommended by a friend who also trusted and was let down by the system, but Jeff proved she was NOT guilty at a Court Martial. I unfortunately got arrested for my 2nd DWI and it was within 5 years of my 1st which is mandatory jail time in the state of Texas. Super scary! I was originally using another attorney who was totally dropping the ball, so I was referred to Michelle Mays. She was an absolute blessing! You would think there would be some delays or hick-ups since she was brought in the middle of my case, but that wasn’t the situation at all. She didn’t skip a beat! My case actually moved along quicker and more seamlessly immediately after hiring her. She actually had my DWI reduced so that it only shows a first DWI offense on my record. This meant ZERO JAIL TIME! Furthermore, I was in a bad accident a couple years ago so she was able to have ALL MY FINES REMOVED! Which saved me thousands of dollars! She is so personable with not only her client, but with all the court officers and personnel. You can tell she has developed strong relationships with all the judges and prosecutors which is probably why she can negotiate so well with them. It seemed like they really trusted her judgement, and believed in her clients as much as she does. (And let me tell you, she will be your biggest fan and advocate for you til the end!) I hope I never have to use her again, but god forbid, if I do ever get in trouble again, she will be with a doubt my first call! Don’t make the mistake I did at first and hire someone else. Our son was charged with a DUI because he was asleep in a car after drinking. Terrifying to find out your child has been arrested. AZ met with us quickly, he set realistic expectations and helped us understand the legal consequences. He and his office kept us well informed and were always available by phone 7 days a week. He cost a lot of money but is worth every penny when your child’s future is on the line. I can’t recommend him highly enough!

Mr. Byrd is an excellent attorney. I was seeking legal counsel regarding having a felony conviction expunged off my record. I called several attorneys in the Cumberland County area, and Mr. Byrd was the only attorney who knew the North Carolina expungement laws had changed, what the new statue stated. He went above and beyond to assist me. Mr. Byrd took his time to explain the expungement process, he prepared the proper documentation, obtained the right forms, and did everything correct the first time. It kind of confuses me when I read bad reviews about this lawyer like he was reading paperwork in a car, etc. etc. I think people need to realize that sometimes disorganization can occur when someone is first starting up a new business. He is not like this today. He works with a team of professionals and they all accomplish a lot. If you have ever observed ants building a hill, bees in a hive, or wasps on a mission you will know what I am talking about. His team is very productive. He is a good leader and a great communicator. As far as his prices "being too high," well that is what happens sometimes when starting a new business. Over time I'm sure his prices will have gone down and will go down more but until then he's like every other human being just trying to make ends meet. Lawyers are human beings too. We had a few of our ups and downs but honestly I was grateful to have hired a lawyer who tells the truth. I never got mad at him for telling me the truth. I only got mad when he assumed I didn't know the truth. Kind of like that phrase "Hey tell me something I don't know." I know I need help. Lots of people do. However, there are better ways to express your dissatisfaction with something than telling me something I already know and sending that email of your confrontation to everyone in the office. Maybe some of his staff can help him with learning how to word things better to clients. I feel like his staff have helped make him into the success he is today. Great work ethic combined with team work and excellent communication among him and his staff provide for a speedy job and you get your money's worth. He just needs to research better ways of communicating with clients and when something bothers him he needs to voice his discontent immediately versus holding it all in and letting it build up over time. When you hold things in and then explode it does not look good on you. It makes it look like you can't handle yourself. If you can't handle yourself because of emails how will you handle uncomfortable emotions in court? That's all I'm saying. I hope his team goes to court with him because, like everyone else, he needs help.

Hired Bryce to handle a child support termination. He did an amazing job of communicating directly with me via email (only talked to his staff to pay the bill). This is very rare! Most attorney’s barely talk to you and 90% of your communication goes through a paralegal.

I'M HAPPY TO SAY I hired Brett Pritchard after a Free Consultation in March of this year regarding a SAPCR Suit in which I filed. I know who will have my business should I need to seek legal counsel again. In the best interest of the child is the part that most adults forget, it's not about us, it's about that precious child and keeping those he loves in their life. Do your research if this happens to you, clearly you have rights in the State of Texas if you cared for a child for a six month period regardless if you're related to the child or not, but you have a 60 day window to file paperwork or you'll forfeit your rights and lose any chance you have to remain in the child's life. You MUST Seek good/excellent Counsel to ensure that you are Represented accordingly.

Back in December right before what was supposed to be my babies 1st Christmas with myself, my husband and his brother and sister the unthinkable happened my at the time 4 month old son started acting lethargic and seemed to not want to wake up, me having went to medical school and having a diabetic daughter and a son who was premature before my youngest baby I had a feeling that he was in some sort of distress so we rushed him to the hospital approximately 10 minutes before arrival I noticed my son having trouble breathing so I started to administer CPR upon arrival to the hospital once we got inside I ran him to the 1st medical person I saw, we were rushed into a room in the midst of all of the chaos my son was taken to another room while waiting a nurse comes to tell me my son had transport to the main hospital downtown Houston due to the complexities of his issues but what we thought was happening couldn't get any worse it did we were told my son had a skull fracture, perforation of the bowel and a perforation of his esophagus which was done by a Dr at the hospital. Still not knowing what was going on I got in the ambulance with my son and upon arrival to the downtown hospital I was greeted by 2 police officers while my husband was greeted by a police officer at our home so he could meet my mom with our other 2 children we were both questioned and we were always open and honest with Dr's, police officers who we spoke to and regardless we were look at as suspects. In 10 and 6 years of having 2 other children I have never had ever been accused of abuse or neglect of my children after my kids were illegally removed from my custody I called Bradley's office and during my consultation with him he already started working on my case, our sons were born on the same day so he could understand the pain I was feeling after my son had an 8 hour surgery and I only got a week of time spent with him at the hospital before I was blocked by the hospitals CAPS team we were in complete misery and during the short amount of time that we thought was going to never end Bradley fought for our family even driving from Fort Worth to Dayton to be there when we needed him and he was always in communication with me and my husband he obtained my son's medical records and got to work and by March 31st I had all my kiddos back in my home. I would highly recommend Mr. Scalise he always believed in our family and he took on one of the biggest hospitals in the Houston area and called it like it was, ultimately CPS never could provide anything to the contrary of abuse or neglect our case was very complex. I had a sick little baby who needed his family and the hospital took that time away from us but he's back along with his brother and sister just in time for his 1st birthday. My son is happy, healthy and thriving to the fullest and if it wasn't for Mr. Scalise and his help I don't know if we could of found a better attorney to handle our case not just the legal side but the emotional support and compassion that I received from his office. We are so grateful for Bradley and we thank God for me finding you and making our lives back to what they were. I said I'd shout from the rooftops how awesome Brad and Velma, and his firm are, but this review will have to do.
1. You've found yourself in a situation, and you're looking at attorneys, right? If you've found this page, look no further.
No, seriously, look no further.
You've found the bulldog. You've found Saul. You found Him, or whatever you want to say. Brad is not only an incredible attorney, his cost is negligible compared to the protection, diligence, and dedication you'll get.
2. Did I mention his fees? They might be beaten (unlikely), but I can tell you that not only are they reasonable, they're downright competitive. Get aside that, and Brad is your right hand man. I can't say it enough, his service is Top Notch.
3. If you're unfortunate as I, with someone breathing down your neck (in my case, Denton Co.), don't let anybody, including yourself, tell you that you don't need counsel. I was getting harassed and intimidated, daily, with the real threat of losing my daughter.
And then I did the First smart thing I could've-Retained Brad as my attorney.
He was able to get them to cease communication with me, and channeled it through him. They're tone Really changes. And if you're smart, you'll see for yourself.
4. His paralegal, Velma, and him will not judge you, make you feel judged, or allow others to judge you. You'll have to be completely transparent, but in doing so, Brad creates a personalized approach/plan for your situation. I never felt too ashamed to be honest with him, or Velma. And being honest is how he was able to get my "Situation" or case, closed, which is what You want, right?

Tommy Hull and his paralegal Kenna are awesome! I picked Tommy as my criminal defense attorney after an officer made a false DWI allegation against me. As a former prosecutor, Tommy is incredibly knowledgeable and knows how to get things done; he’s a straight shooter and always made time to meet with me when I had questions, and was able to give a realistic guesstimation of outcome right away, but never sugar coated anything(he tells you things you don’t want to hear but need to). Paralegal Kenna is also awesome, she was super responsive, and knowledgeable giving answers she knew on the fly, or reaching out to Tommy when needed. Tommy is a little more pricey than some options in the region, but in my opinion a very worthwhile investment. He had everything taken care of within 7 weeks, and while he told me that I could expect to lose my drivers license; he ended up having the ALR case dismissed too… So I never lost my license, which statistically is something that lawyers in these cases are only able to achieve less than 5% of the time. But I think that’s very much consistent with who he is… I’d guess Tommy is easily within the top 5% of lawyers capability wise.
