I would absolutely recommend Kevin to anyone that needed help in his area of expertise without a doubt.
I liked working with his firm because they were highly professional and the rare thing you don’t find very often these days which is excellent customer service. When I had a question or information for him, he responded within one half hour every time, and if he was in court, his secretary would get in touch with him and provide me with a time that he would be able to call me back. He never left me hanging.
What stood out about Kevin for me besides the fact he was able to get all charges dropped, was the day I hired him I was pretty upset and full of shame and he was so sincere when he said “ Listen to me, you have absolutely nothing to be ashamed about, everyone makes mistakes “, which is so true, and making mistakes in life is (if we learn from them) are actually the only way we grow and learn as human beings.
The second thing that I liked was at our first meeting after giving him all details regarding the charges, was the fact he gave me the worst case scenario first which he really didn’t believe would happen and then told me the points that were in our favor and how with his expert knowledge which expanded beyond the police departments were what was going to be in our favor and he was absolutely right.

Ms Aboushi was amazing! She worked hard for about 6 years on my son's case! Whatever she needed, I got and she would go straight to work. Even after the case was handled, she still gives advice when we need it and my kid is always on her mind! I was recently arrested and falsely accused by a proprietor of a business. Upon appearing in Manhattan court for a D.A.T pertaining to this matter I must admit the taste of discuss the NYPD left with me was/is horrendous. I recently hired Adam to represent me for my DWI arrest on the Westside hwy. I had refused the breathalyzer in the precinct on the advice of a friend of mine that was an attorney but not the type of attorney you want giving you legal advice on DWI's. I was arrested on a Sunday evening and needed to spend the night in the tombs. My wife called my sister who is an attorney and asked her to find a lawyer and my sister must have made over 20 phone calls to lawyers asking for recommendations for DWI attorneys she advised that multiple people had brought up Adam's name and when she told me "I have never heard an attorney refer to another attorney as an amazing lawyer but even better person" I knew I needed to go with Adam. My wife had the initial communication with him but even she raved about how easy he was to talk to him. He wasn't able to make it to my initial court hearing the night I got out because he was in California on business but he had one of his associates come. Honestly you could probably save yourself 1.5-2k by not having an attorney because nothing actually happens at the hearing where you're released but I would have paid 5k just to get out of that place so I didn't care. When Adam and I first met I introduced myself said to him "after all of this is said and done, I hope I can say that hiring you was one of the best decisions of my life", and even that is not enough at this point. Adam was so honest with me but yet the way he carried out the conversation I still felt reassured that the best possible outcome was going to happen. I'm a realistic person, I know that if a lawyer tells me that there's a 100% chance of me getting completely off that he's just blowing smoke but Adam wasn't like that. He actually wanted to know about who I was, where I came from, the circumstances of the evening and things leading up to that evening. He really spent his time trying to find out who I was so that he could humanize this terribly unfortunate mistake I made. The NYS stance on refusals is no pleas and he told me that it rarely happens the first time, but that if we were persistent there was a possibly we would prevail. Adam scheduled a meeting with me to review all of the court documents and get my take on everything and also did his due diligence in trying to find discrepancies in the court that he could use, not only if we needed to go to court but also in trying to persuade the ADA to submit a reduced plea. The first hearing came and went and no plea. Obviously I was very disappointed but Adam once again, reassured me that this wasn't the end of the road. Adam was so persistent with the ADA, constantly communicating with him and seeing where things stood, I really knew that he had my best interest at heart. Sure enough, in the days leading up to the second and final hearing before we would have needed to go to court the ADA sent Adam a message with the reduced plea. No misdemeanor, not ignition lock, a license suspension reduced form 1 year to 90 days and I think $450 in fines. When Adam heard the news he immediately called me, emailed me and texted me. You could just tell he was so excited that we got exactly what we wanted. Overall, if you read this, regardless of what your DWI/DUI situation is, you will 100% be making the right decision to go with Adam to represent you. Adam, if you ever read this, I am forever indebted to you!!

Being accused of a criminal case is something that marks your life forever. Not only does it affect you in the legal way, but it can also have an impact on various aspects of you life like your employment, immigration status (like in my case) and it can be emotionally and financially stressful. A few months back, I was involved in an altercation with my now ex-husband. Police came and arrested me for domestic violence. I was devastated. I made the decision to hire Richard for my defense and I am glad I did. Him and his team were very responsive to my questions and concerns. Given that my case affected my immigration status, Richard was helpful in coordinating information about my case with my immigration lawyer as well. Lave literally saved my life, I had a criminal misdemeanor charge, I pleaded guilty, too, even though I was not involved or had anything to do with what happened that day, but the police officer falsified some of the evidence that he presented in court, and I ended up pleading guilty to a misdemeanor, because I simply had no choice. Some few months after INS used this charge to get me deported. Labe was hired and did a wonderful job studying my case and managed to appeal my conviction, which lead to my release with no bail, from prison. Labe did a wonderful job fighting this case for me until we won , reversing it to a violation. And believe me this was not an easy task, took a lot of time and work, I’m sure 100% if I have used any other attorney I would not make it. Labes knowledge of the criminal system and criminal law is above and beyond. This guy doesn’t take shortcuts to make it easier for him self at costumers expense, he fully dedicates himself and his time to make sure you receive best service and results there is possible. He don’t promise anything ahead of the end, but believe me you will receive the best you can get. And that is my honest opinion, and believe me I have been around the block more then a few times and have used many different attorneys in NYC for different incidents that I have got my self in to. Mr. Richman is an extremely skillful and dedicated attorney in one of the hardest areas of legal practice which is post-conviction relief. As an immigration attorney representing a client in his removal proceeding, I had to seek the best criminal defense attorney I could find to file a motion with criminal court to vacate and change the client’s criminal sentence so that he could qualify for cancellation of removal. He was a long-term lawful permanent resident facing deportation with no chance to be even considered for cancellation because of his single aggravated felony conviction. A reduction of the client’s sentence by only one day, would change the classification of his conviction for immigration purposes, making him eligible to apply for cancellation. (I wish my client’s former criminal attorney knew what difference just one day in the sentence could have made for his non-citizen client.) However, it was very hard to change the sentence through a post-conviction motion. Another criminal defense attorney retained by the client’s family had already filed such a motion without success. At this time, I decided to find the best attorney in town to try it again, and I found one, Mr. Richman. He re-filed the motion and fiercely fought for our client at the state court level. He was then ready to continue the battle in federal court when, finally, the criminal court agreed to vacate and reduce the sentence. This victory allowed me to reopen the client’s deportation case and seek cancellation of removal, which was granted. Our client is a US citizen today and the life of his family of immigrants was not torn apart by deportation due to effective assistance provided by Mr. Richman. I remain grateful to Mr. Richman for accepting such a challenging case and for the remarkable winning that opened an avenue for me to fight for the client in immigration court. I also greatly appreciate all the guidance on immigration-related criminal issues I have received from Mr. Richman throughout the years.

I was falsely accused of egregious professional misconduct under the Army’s SHARP program. Due to the notoriety of SHARP in the current command climate of the Armed Forces, that false allegation resulted in me facing not only an other-than-honorable involuntary termination of my military service but also irreparable and irrevocable harm to my professional career. I goofed and went before a local Judge whos known for not liking DUIs or gun cases in particular, unrepresented. Long story short Mr. Fox was able to get my sentence reduced by quite a few years after the matter. I paid alot more for alot less in a Legal matter not covered by Mr. Fox elsewhere so I've got to be honest, what Mr. Fox charged me was more than reasonable. He's a down to earth dude too. I remember eating lunch in Downtown Hamilton and he'd be there always cordial with even random Strangers. Yet, he knows Ohio Law and fights for his Clients. He's had several go to Supreme Court so he's not going to just laydown and kiss the ring if the Clients been wronged. Highly recommend. I hope I don't need his service again, but if I do there's no way I'm calling anyone but Mr. Fox.

At first I thought it was going to get thrown out then he said he can get it reduced to dangerous driving then he surprised me and got me reduced to physical control with no points on my license 2 years non-reporting probation monthly payments for the court 50 dollars a month. It really helps not to have a criminal background have a clean background check and if you get a ovi operating a vehicle under the influence that you didnt have alot to drink or that your blood alcohol content isnt way over the legal limit. My pee test came back 3 points above the legal limit. He is a awesome attorney at lower cost (Hes really good you could get the same as me if you do have a criminal background and if you do drink alot but it helps if you dont). I hit the jackpot of charges in Arlington VA and was charged with a drunk in public while carrying a concealed weapon without a CCW and had my 2 small kids with me which the police also charged me with 2 counts of contributing to delinquent of a minor. I also had a seperate charge a few weeks later for driving under a suspended license. So 5 harsh charges and I was facing 1 to 2 years, maybe more, as well as tons ot fines and whatever else. I started to call various attorneys for consultation and I was reccomended Mr. Deane by another attorney who could not take my case due to being out of town and when they said he is a hard hitter, they were not lying. Mr. Deane listened to my case and did not sugar coat or promise the impossible to make me feel jolly. He was were caring, and direct and said he will do everything he can to help. He also advised me on things to do before court to help my chances, which I believe it did. Once the court dates came he was able to handle his part and got half the charges dropped, no fines, no probation and only like 12 days to serve which Is a breeze compared to 6 months or more if I stayed with my public defender or went with someone else. I am glad I hired Mr. Deane and will hire him again for any future issues that may need an experienced attorney that will get things done like a pro that he is. I used a few lawyers in the past and I highly reccomend Mr. Deane. The guy is a Pro and a Hard Hitter. You wont be dissapointed.
