John Mahoney was a bright light in the dark tunnel of seeking answers from a Federal government agency that was purposely deceptive. Prior to John's advice and investigation of the facts involved no other attorneys could comprehend or had knowledge of Federal Law to help me with the questions and issues in my case. As a Federal GS 12 my Due Process right was never allowed for access to me and John Mahoney found this fact and the path in the Federal government to address it immediately after taking my case and I have had victory with John's representation. John Mahoney and his Law firm I highly recommend to all who need help with the Federal government.

I am experiencing escalating discrimination at work, and it has been affecting my health and well being. Having never experienced anything like this before in my life, I had no idea how to handle it, and the feeling of going it alone was very daunting. I reached out to a number of law firms, and consulted with an attorney in a different firm who just said, "file an EEO complaint," and did not seem in the least bit interested in taking on my case. I then scheduled a consultation with John Mahoney, and he was very responsive. He listened carefully as I laid out my situation, provided me an intial assessment of my case, and reassured me that I have a lot of protections in place under Federal law and policy. He described the way ahead clearly. I cannot describe the feeling of relief I have knowing that I have experienced and knowledgeble counsel to help me navigate the process, that I have representation, and that I am no longer all alone in fighting an extremely stressful and emotionally draining situation. I want the discrimination to stop, and the situation to be resolved fairly and quickly, and John Mahoney gives me every confidence that outcome will occur.

Patient and understanding is how I would describe Attorney John Patrick Mahoney. This occurred from the very beginning with our initial consultation and continued throughout our conversations regarding my legal matter. With my many questions and concerns over multiple days I at times felt I was being rather annoying, however, there was no question he left unanswered and all of my concerns were addressed.

The BEST decision I ever made was to contact the The Law Firm of John P. Mahoney, Esq. I had navigated through the EEOC process without legal representation up until the Formal complaint process. Days before my hearing with the Administrative Judge, I realized that I was in way over my head and may need legal representation. I contacted numerous law firms, all proclaiming to be experts in handling EEOC cases, but none of them would allow me to even speak to an attorney without first signing a contract. I reached out to The Law Firm of John P. Mahoney and spoke at length with Attorney John Mahoney. After hearing the facts of my EEOC case, he explained the legal process in excellent detail, and in terms that were easy for any lay person to understand. He outlined the legal fees and provided realistic expectations for the outcome going forward, with and without, legal representation. I immediately hired the firm and Attorney Michael Mierau was assigned to my case. Mr. Mierau successfully postponed the formal hearing date and opened settlement negotiations with my Agency. As I suspected, Agency leadership were arrogant and had dug their heels in deep with complete disregard for any settlement negotiations. Mr. Mierau took them on, armed with his expert knowledge of the law and superb negotiation skills. Long story short, Mr. Mierau successfully negotiated from the Agency’s initial offer and quadrupled it. Finally, two weeks after my final settlement agreement with the Agency was approved by the Administrative Judge, the full settlement amount was deposited into my checking account. I would highly recommend the Law Firm of John P. Mahoney and Attorney Michael Mierau. My only regret is that I did not hire them earlier in the EEOC process. The best money I have ever spent!

I did not initially have the funds to afford a lawyer when my security clearance was revoked. After a few weeks, I was able to scrape up enough money to hire Attorney Mahoney's services. The downside is, by the time I was able to get an attorney there was only 3 weeks left before my case had to be submitted. Attorney Mierau, who worked my case, gave me the guidance I needed to get the documentation that would assist my case. His guidance along with his arguments helped me to win my security clearance back. They say these things are made for the average person to understand, but they're not. They are very complicated, and it is difficult to understand what is important and what is not important when it comes to responding to the case. Thankfully, Attorney Mierau made it very clear what needed to be done. And because of that, I get to keep my job.

I gave a 4 because of the phone tag, phone tag annoys me, other then that I was given great advice he listened to everything I had to say, listening in today’s age is rare and overrated for some reason, he seems to know his stuff

Mr. Mahoney has been very responsive and informative during our consultation process.
