I hired David Benowitz and his associates to help me with a DUI charge. David was available to me after hours to consult via phone from the police station, he picked me up from lock up and proceeded quickly to resolve my charge with little to no inconvenience to myself and family. Using his skill and long established relationships with the prosecuting attorney, David and his team were able to plea and reduce my charge to reckless driving and have the entire incident quickly expunged from my record. The end result was no record of the charge, a small fine and no points on my license. David and his team are simply the best.

Dealing with any type of legal matter can consume and stress you out beyond normal daily life. Mr. Benowitz was able to alleviate as much of that as possible by guiding me through the process with an encouraging hand. I was arrested for misdemeanor theft while visiting DC earlier this year. I found David Benowitz through a google search and called his 24 hour office number on a Sunday afternoon. Within 20 minutes David Benowitz called me to start discussing my case. Since i lived in another state, Mr Benowitz took great care in making sure i had all the way to get in touch with him and that i felt comfortable with my defense. While David could not get all my charges dropped before my arraignment he assured me that he would continue to talk with the State Attorney's office to either drop the charges or to get a deferred prosecution agreement. David went out of his way to guide me around the courthouse to do all the requirements after my hearing. I asked David why he was doing this since he was a Partner in his law firm and he told it was his pleasure to help. David called me six days before my court hearing and told me that all my charges had been dropped. I would recommend David to anyone who needs a great lawyer in the DC area. Since i live out of state and don't know anyone in the DC area, David helped put my mind at ease throughout this extremely stressful situation. He also made me feel as if I was his only client while talking with me through out this entire process.
