I would totally hire Joe Scrofano if needed a DUI lawyer in Washington, DC. He would be the first attorney I'd call. I met Joe eight years ago at a DUI lawyers' conference. It was clear Joe stands out as one of the brightest, most creative, and innovative DUI defense attorneys out there. He has a relentless drive to explore new strategies sets him apart in our field. I've presented alongside Joe and each time I'm impressed by his deep understanding of DUI law and his ability to think outside the box. Kter Malkut is my pen name. My name is Rozain C. Chitty. Extremely dishonest law firm. I am a Maryland attorney who advised my nephew who had a dui issue in DC to hire scrofano law based on their reviews. I was also in contact with another attorney who said he would have to plead guilty and get on a program where he could have his record cleared. Her charge was $3500. Chris Muttimer from Scrofano law told my nephew that he would not have to plead guilty and that they could get a non-prosecution and wanted $5000. My nephew was keen to go that route. AFTER the payment of $5000 there was a guilty plea and they did exactly what the other attorney had promised to do. In addition it was extremely difficult to get them to finish the submission of the paperwork after the program was over, Mr Muttimer is no longer with the firm and I wrote to Mr. Scrofano explaining what happened and my concern because I advised my nephew to hire their firm. I asked him for a refund of $1500. He did not respond. I am hoping to file a complaint with the DC Bar regarding the unethical behavior on the part of the firm.

I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect trial . Although Attorney Ghnocci fell ill right before my trial date he was there in court ready to litigate my case . He discussed my possibility and gave me a brief overview of his points. It turns out we didn’t need them as the officer didn’t show and the case was thrown out . It was amazing and then Attorney Ghnocci actually gave me advice on how to get the charge expunged and offered to do it for me . The man’s amazing !

“NOT GUILTY!” Those words were so beautiful to hear. It was the end of a long journey and it took a heavy load off of my shoulders. I couldn’t have done anything without the services of Scrofano Law PC. From the start, Scrofano Law PC’s service was first class. They treat your case like it is their case and that continues throughout. All of the payment systems are up to date and it is a seamless process to make any payments. My case (misdemeanor sexual assault) was complicated because I had been CONVICTED (using another lawyer) and Scrofano Law PC was able to vacate the conviction by winning an ineffective counsel motion (miracle number 1 to get a judge to go back on their verdict) and then winning the trial of the original charge (miracle number 2 with prosecution having a preview of our case from the ineffective counsel motion). Essentially these were two different trials that required a lot of experts and testimony but both trials were very challenging. This challenge was made clear to me by Scrofano Law PC and they detailed all options every step of the way. My lawyer, Joseph Scrofano, was very professional and transparent every step of the way. He explored all options (this means utilizing resources for the best options) and walked me and my family through the reasons why. I reviewed other firms prior to using Scrofano Law PC but they far exceeded anything I read on paper. If you want a professional law firm and to be educated throughout your case as well as the best chance for a positive outcome, Scrofano Law PC is the best option.
