Rammy Barbari worked as the presenting attorney along with David Benowitz of Price Benowitz in my defense for my high profile, Jan. 6th,  federal court case in Washington DC at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on March 18- 20 2024. Rammy had written and presented my defense arguments regarding two charges; 1)Theft of Government property, a misdemeanor and 2) Charge of Obstruction of an Official Proceeding (1512) a felony charge, presented before U.S. District Judge Randolf D. Moss. My case was presented with two other Co-Defendants and the challenge was to find the individuality of each defendant while being tried collectively.   Between arguments and exhibits presented in the stipulated trial between the prosecution and defense, Rammy articulated a simple strategy that pleased the courts and especially Judge Moss. Pre-Trial preparation for the "Stipulated Facts" were evident as our arguments were well received by Judge Moss' final conclusions of  "NOT GUILTY" in his verdict on the major charge of  "Obstruction of Official Proceeding (1512)".  The expertise of the legal team was evident in their relationship with the courts, prosecution and judge. Picking a winning strategy is difficult and I was not expecting such a favorable outcome. I would contribute their legal team's collective work to get me out of a Jury and into a Stipulated Trial with the wisdom of a Judge as a "WIN". I would also recognize the reduction of my initial charges being reduced to just two charges with the prosecution going into my final bench trial was another successful "WIN" regardless of the outcome. Lastly, I would say their experience and relationships built over the years in Washington DC with the US Attorney Office and US District Court  provided a feasible means to facilitate such a trial.   This was a  HUGE win for any defense. I would highly recommend anyone seeking professional legal counsel to consider Rammy or the Price Benowitz legal team for representation.
