I have utilized Mr. Deem on 7-10 corporate engagements over the last 18 months. Each engagement was complex with multiple counter-parties and jurisdictions and included acquisitions, divestitures, public and private refinancings, contract negotiations, and regulatory processes requiring Mr. Deem to utilize both his personal expertise as well as liaise with subject matter experts within his firm and outside firms. The four traits Mr. Deem consistently exhibits which keep our firm coming back to him - accuracy, flexibility, responsiveness. and directness. Accuracy -- speaks for itself Flexibility -- lays out a range of options with explanations for the pros and cons of each option from our vantage. Responsiveness -- typically develops a work product in a matter of days where other firms we work with take weeks to formulate a response. Directness -- most firms will not give a straight answer, everything has caveats. Mr. Deem answers in more definitive terms such as "your position affords you x rights, the other side will take y position, and any disagreement will be argued z way with the judge ruling based on ...." We have a great deal of faith in Mr. Deem's counsel and will continue to use his services.

Jonathan has assisted me with various transactional projects over the last 4 years.
