I had never used a lawyer in my life, so the idea of hiring one made me very nervous. The fact that my ex was working in a big law firm made me have to research and strategize how to deal with my divorce carefully. On top of that, as a non-English native, I had to make sure my lawyer could explain everything, especially technical vocabularies when it comes to the law, which about 50% I had never heard and use those words in my life. After talking to many lawyers, Carlos stood out as an experienced lawyer who was willing to listen to my story with a patient and gave me real advice even on the first call. As I was in a very vulnerable stage of my divorce, hiring him was the best decision. He always made sure I understood every process and the direction we were heading to. That really helped me gain my confidence back, which is very important when you don't feel like you have power or authority. Carlos was tough on the case but still in a very reasonable way, which was perfect since I was dealing with a difficult soon to be ex. I was very impressed by how he strategized and negotiated to make sure everything was fair for me to start my own life. With his negotiation, in the end, he helped me get what I deserved. I highly recommend him. With his skills and reasonable price, it's hard to find a better representer. I hope I don't have to use his service again, but if you do, give him a call, and you won't regret it.
