Heather is very aggressive in defending her clients. She represented my ex-wife in our divorce and had no problem telling the judge outright lies and slandering my name in attempt to paint me as the "bad guy" in the divorce. She encouraged her client to try to have my mother arrested for harassment due to a few text messages that were actually polite and courteous. She encouraged her client to file a false police report against me after her client intentionally damaged her own property in a storage unit. She sent an IWO to my employer and had child support taken out of my pay check before the judge even signed the order. She sets her morals and ethics aside when defending her clients. She's expensive, but worth every penny if you need someone to strongly defend you in a difficult divorce.

After reviewing different attorneys I chose Peggy because she had been practicing law for many years and in particular because she had a background working for Social Security and knew how things work and finally because she was a woman. I feel that all of my "reasoning" was well founded and am glad that I went with my "reasoning"! I first spoke with Peggy by phone and explained my situation to her and she gave me her direct, honest and open opinion. She acknowledged my case would be difficult, but that she felt I had a strong case, but felt her representation could have a winning outcome. I was glad I found her, she took my case and was involved from the very initial (she helped me from filing my initial application) stage all the way through. Many people don't hire an attorney until they've been denied at least once or twice. I wanted an attorney to help and represent me from the very start. She is very busy, but her staff is very knowledgeable, helpful, thorough, communicative and Peggy was available for questions or concerns if ever needed/wanted. It took a while to get to the final stages of my case and of course I was very worried, but Peggy came through. She met with myself and my family (for their input, since they were around, had to help me and knew first-hand my situation) and reviewed everything with detail, allayed my worries and concerns and from the hip told us what she felt and thought could happen etc. If I had any "advice" I would give anyone is to hire an attorney when you are thinking of first applying (it helps). If avoidable, do not wait until you are denied at any point of the process.

We have a large family and some of our children have experienced marital issues with separation, custody, relocation requests, divorce and malicious accusations. In each instance we turned to Robert Sunshine for guidance and representation resulting in the best possible outcomes.
Robert was able to assess each situation, advise our children on the best course of action, manage their expectations, calm their stress and deliver results. He always presented a calm façade in review; and then a high expertise and passion in the courtroom. We were amazed at how well prepared he was and how he anticipated even the remotest of possible topics that could have arisen. He always had supporting documentation available with him and rebuttal material available for each. Where possible, Robert tried to mitigate expenses, which acted to reassure us of his focus on the end result, rather than extending billing hours.
Our family was comforted in the knowledge that Robert would provide the best representation possible and could not have been more pleased watching his work in the courtroom, especially when compared to the opposing counsel. In a few instances the judge actually took guidance from him. He was familiar with various jurisdictions and the nuances of each judge’s thinking. The end results were above anything we could have hoped for.
The bottom line is that Robert under-promises and over achieves. We strongly recommend his services to anyone in need of marital representation.

I had a matrimony case that was stalled in the court system for nearly 10 years. After losing every major decision...I hired Mr. Sunshine to help me bring my case to a closure. Boy did I make the right decision. In a relatively short period of time...we were able to change momentum of the case and bring it to a successful closure. I can't thank Mr. Sunshine enough. Prior to having to seek out his help in 2013 I had no real experience with dealing with lawyers. I think it's a natural reaction to be a little intimidated at first, seeing as people always say such negative things about lawyers in general. However, after our initial meeting, I quickly realized that I had nothing to fear. I left our first consultation feeling much more empowered and protected than when I walked in. Mr. Mize is extremely intelligent in his field and this helped to put me at ease. My first time as his client I was going through a divorce. He made sure that I had all of the information that I needed and he asked several questions so he would have a very clear picture of the situation. He never judged or criticized, but always gave helpful and concerned advice. He was always prompt, friendly and professional with returning my calls, texts or emails. Mr. Mize never made me feel rushed or as if I were an inconvenience or a bother. The divorce itself was pretty clear-cut and went fairly smoothly. Two years later, I sought him out again because my ex-husband filed for child support modification and also wanted to modify our days with the kids. The days modification was not in the best interest of our children and would have negatively impacted their health and schooling. Mr. Mize knew how sensitive I was to this matter and took great care to ensure that I was well prepared for our trial. Although, as a lawyer, Mr. Mize knows what I could and couldn't have gained if I pushed hard enough, he let me make all of the decisions but was always there to advise me fairly when I asked. He never made me feel as though I had to attack or be sneaky to get what I wanted. We played a very fair and clean game and all was well in the end. I feel confident that he gave me the same level of respect that he would give a high profile case, and the same level of care that he would provide to a sibling. I felt as though Mr. Mize were more like a big brother to me than a lawyer. I felt safe and supported. He was always there when I needed him and he made what was a very stressful situation for me and my family, much easier to bear. Mr. Mize is a very serious and straight forward individual who gets right to the point and does not waste your time or money. When he smiles, you know it is genuine. If you are dealing with a family matter, I highly recommend working with Tina Corr.
Pricing: Tina Corr was fair and consistent with pricing. Her contract was straightforward and easy to read. Prices are reasonable and billing was explicitly spelled out ahead of time so no surprises.
Personality: Tina Corr was wonderful to talk to. She gave me the truth even if it wasn't what I wanted to hear. She read everything I sent (and I mean read, not just received) and she responded mindfully to all of my concerns.
Efficiency: Tina Corr was responsive (almost always within 24 hours via phone or email!) and efficient with paperwork. Everything was filed correctly on time if not early. I never felt like my lawyer left me hanging.
Flexibility: Tina Corr was able to respond specifically to the unique needs and requests I had for my case. I think family cases can be nuanced and mine was no different. Tina Corr was able curate the work on her end to suit my specific circumstance. I attribute this to the fact that she's a good listener and perceptive; qualities that can be difficult to find in a lawyer.

I can’t even begin to explain how lucky and grateful I am to have Chris Casserly in my life. My son was taken from me and my world was turned completely upside down. I came to the office for a consultation after going to other offices for consultations. She was the only attorney who told me to sit tight and not do anything right now because of several issues that I had. Everyone else just wanted to take my money. Alice explained all options to me, gave me prognosis for all options but said she recommends me to wait. My grandmother and I first met with Alice Antonovsky in Febraury 2014. By July 2014, my grandmother's asylum application was recommended for approval. By May 2015, her application was approved. By Alice's own admission, this should have been a very difficult case to work with, as my grandmother was in the country for many years and only applied for asylum recently. But in Alice's hands, it all worked out.
Alice Antonovsky is warm, very professional, but most of all, knows her craft and it shows in her results. Alice is easy to work with, follows up on every meaningful detail, explains everything very clearly, and answers all questions, no matter how long you keep her there. She even drove us to get the results from the interview, waited with us, and celebrated with us!

So I lived in a really really really bad neighborhood ran by some incredibly currupt,shady and just down right petty slum Lord scum bags that were trying to unlawfully evict me. He used excellent outside the box tactics to compel the best possible results to my case. It really was epic honestly my lack of sleep due to stress was a blessing because watching the man work it'd be very hard to not react like the audience of a roast who just witnessed a really good burn. Going through a divorce is not the time period where my head was clearest or my manners the most polite. I needed time without getting hit with a lot of calls.

If you need a divorce or family attorney, Atty Danielle Thomason is the BEST of the BEST! I only wish I had found her for my divorce 10 yrs ago. I had a horrible experience with my original divorce attorney so I panicked when served an unexpected modification 10 yrs post divorce, and all I can say is how GRATEFUL I am for Danielle. She is compassionate, empathetic, listens, and treats every person like she's walking in their shoes. She's not all about the "billable hours, minutes, emails etc." but about truly helping her clients...she would even call me after my work hours because it was hard to chat privately at work sometimes. I am a single mom of 3 with my last off to college and have lived on a limited income for years. So when I was served with modification paperwork at the beginning of covid when money, life etc. was stressful enough, I am so blessed I found Danielle. She is a top notch attorney (the kind you think you'd find only in Boston) who knows the law inside & out...she is amazing at her job (my ex husband even commented such in our pre-trial hearing)! When I was served, the modification was to pay me no child support and me pay $15,000 in college tuition (which I do not have). Final outcome - I was able to keep my child support and my ex-husband has to pay for our son's college tuition and I pay nothing.
