My only regret is that I found her after my divorce! Alicia R. Lucero won both of my custody trials for me. My Limited Divorce in 2014 and Absolute Divorce in 2017. She went up against a medical doctor twice and won both times. I was also awarded child support.

I had contacted Kathy concerning after losing custody of my children. During my divorce, I didn’t have representation, so my parenting plan was oppressive and it didn’t leave Kathy with a lot to fight with. However, Kathy did extensive research and really worked hard to do what she could for me. In the end, Kathy helped to get my children back.

Going into my domestic violence/divorce case, I knew it was going to be difficult. Brian has represented me for a custody modification, and is currently representing me for a divorce and custody battle with an estranged husband that clearly suffers from narcissistic personality disorder and/or antisocial behavior disorder. Brian has had to endure harrassment from my estranged husband via email, court affidavits referencing him and his family members, multiple psychotic phone calls and now bad reviews of his law firm for no other reason than the other party lost and is losing. The drama is never ending with the narcissistic ones when they are losing. It is comparable to a child's temper tantrum. Brian has had to take many, many emails and phone calls from me over the last 18+ months and was always responsive. While dealing with all of this, Brian has been successful in every court hearing we have filed and I believe it will be one more in the books after the upcoming trial is over with this miserable abuser of a soon to be ex husband.

I found Melissa through several reviews online. I was in need of a prenup which was originally from my fiancé’s attorney and she was able to walk me through and make the much needed suggestions. She was always available to either speak on the phone and very quick to respond on email. I felt she was empathetic as well as knowledgeable and professional. We were able to come to an agreement for the prenup in a short time and she was reasonable and her rates. I also appreciated her patience concerning my lack of knowledge in this area. Divorce is such an ugly thing. It is usually something beyond draining in every way imaginable, especially in circumstances involving a non-amicable and/or entitled spouse. Often, such difficulties are compounded by concurrent issues with finances, health, etc. Most importantly, when innocent children are involved, it becomes crucial to protect them from the surrounding chaos.
During such a trying time, it is vital to partner with an attorney who is experienced, competent, trustworthy, diligent, discerning, and level-headed. It is also important to find an attorney who is well-connected and respected within the Florida law community. With my personal case now fully resolved, I can assert that Mr. Steven Hair, Esquire meets/exceeds all of these attributes.

If you are looking for an attorney for family law matters Matthew Hunt is the best money can buy. I initially hired Mr. Hunt after I fired another attorney who took my money, did not bother to file divorce paperwork, and would not return my calls or emails. Mr. Hunt did more in the first day of hiring him than the other attorney did in months. It was like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders knowing I now had an attorney I could trust. He was able to reverse the damage that resulted from my previous attorneys’ poor representation. I have been to multiple hearings, mediations, and a deposition with Mr. Hunt. Mr. Hunt’s preparedness was apparent during each of these instances. I’ve had conversations with Mr. Hunt and have been completely surprised when he remembers instances I’ve spoken to him about, emailed him about, and things that happened during prior years. I can truly say that I trust Mr. and his decision-making ability, mainly because he has shown me time and time again the positive results that happen afterwards. Matt personally handled my divorce which involved me dealing with custody of my children and paying of alimony, he also helped navigate me as I was a business owner. I was very firm with Mr. Hunt on what I wanted and he over delivered on every aspect. I get my kids more than I thought I would, I pay less than was estimated, and it was all handled on one day. No one else in their industry is as skilled as this man. Do not let these 1 star reviews say you as they are all written by clients of the other side, when you don't hire the best. I consulted with Mr. Camp on a very complex former spouse matter, and he was thoughtful, thorough, and very kind. He took extended time to discuss the ins, outs, and loops of a complicated set of circumstances. There are many lawyers who claim knowledge of this area of law, but Mr. Camp ACTUALLY knows it through and through. He is also up to date on Tricare changes coming up in 2018. I cannot say enough good things about this wise and careful advisor. I would hire him in a heartbeat; if things get even slightly complicated as my situation progresses, I am going to try to become his client.

I am a military reservist and was divorced 17 years ago. My original attorney advertised that he did military divorces in the phone book, and he convinced me he was knew what he was doing. Skip ahead 17 years. I began receiving my reserve military retired pay and my former spouse filed for her portion. The original order was not worded correctly and needed to be clarified. Her attorney reworded a corrective order. I couldn't locate my original attorney, so I spoke to my local JAG office which really couldn't advise me, but said the language in the clarifying order seemed correct as to form. When the pay division occurred I was surprised that my former spouse was getting more money than I was!!!! I began searching for someone to correct this mess...a local lawyer recommended the attorney they consult with on these type of matters...John Camp! Not only is he an expert in military and civil service divorces, he teaches the intricacies of these laws to other attorneys and judges. John was able to correct the clarifying order to properly divide my retired pay. I only wish I had consulted with him 17 years ago!!!! Not all attorneys are equal!

Mr. Camp is truly an AMAZING attorney!!! My husband, who was a retired Federal Civil Service Employee, filed for divorce after 40+ years of marriage. Because my husband was a Civil Service Retiree, Mr. Camp came highly recommended from the office of another attorney where I had previously sought advice. His experience and knowledge of the Federal Civil Service Retirement System is very extensive, and he was able to tell me of my all entitlements within the hour of our consultation. He quickly went to work on my counterclaim for the divorce, and in two weeks we were in court for spousal support. The outcome - I was awarded a substantial monthly amount. I could not have gotten through the complex situation surrounding the divorce, and then the difficult time of my husband’s death, without Mr. Camp being there every step of the way. Janis helped me through a 2 year battle with my now ex-husband regarding both custody and finances. Janis wasn’t just my divorce attorney throughout all this, she was a coach, a therapist, a friend. When things were rough she would get on the phone with me to help make sure I was in a good headspace. She constantly reminded me it was a marathon, not a sprint. Interviewing various lawyers in December 2019, I met with Shay and was surprised at how young she looked. She’s the age of my daughters and I wondered would she be capable of handling my divorce which would involve several million dollars of property and division of other assets. Did she have enough experience? Another concern of mine was that, even though I would be hiring her for her knowledge of the legal system, I wanted to actively share the bottom line decisions on how certain things would be handled. of 2020. This event in my life proved to be one of the most stressful dragged out events ever! Shay never buckled. January 2024 my divorce was finally resolved! The times when I wanted to fly off the handle, she would give me Calm and appropriate advice as to my next move. She even explained that certain things would be much more expensive thus disproving the idea that ALL attorneys are just about the money. She of course, needs to make a living, but the amount of work she did and the manner which it was done , she was worth every penny of it and then some!
