My name is Glory Dike. I was served with divorced paper unexpected and I did not know what to or whom to contact. I found a divorced attorney at the beginning and I was not satisfied but the good the news same family attorney did not hold back and she referred me to Tiffany Clarke Burroughs. In fact, the family attorney that referred me to Tiffany clearly stated " I know you are not happy with and I know you just stated to me that you will be looking for another attorney. If you don't mind Glory I will refer you to another attorney I know too well, she is fighter and very Thorough and if she doesn't help you with your matter you can go some where else". After , listening to the above statement from the first attorney I contacted to help me respond to the divorce paper work from now my estranged husband, I immediately signed and withdrew my case from this first attorney and I contacted Tiffany Clarke Burroughs. Honestly, that decision I made on that faithful day to switch to another attorney bought me VICTORY today for one of the worst , if not one of the longest and complicated divorce matter.
Furthermore, when I contacted Tiffany, she scheduled me to come and she had one to one talk and all she requested of me to tell her nothing but the truth about my situation and she promised that she will will make sure I come out on the other side with victory. I kept my promised by being transparent, supplied her all requested documents. Boy!!! Tiffany , went to work for me diligently, consistently communicated every single step via email and phone calls. Tiffany returned all my calls and responded to all my emails on time. I am not sure hos she does it with her busy schedule but she did in my own case. Tiffany , communication skills is amazing and super awesome. through consistent communication between Tiffany and I , as a defendant in my divorce case, Tiffany got me 50 % of my house proceeds, made my estranged husband pay back every single debt he put me through, I won the custody and child support of my youngest son. Financially, Tiffany was very supportive of course she does not work for free and she understands that legal fees could be very challenging and difficult so after my retainer fees, I had to make payment arrangement when I am about to run out of money and she will schedule my payments in such a way that I was able to clear each scheduled payment to avoid overlaps and possibilities of me running into debt that might likely become overwhelming. Even today that my case ended after all these years I am not owing Tiffany a penny. She is very calculative, articulate and very understandable . She is also very humble, great listener and very calm. She fights like lion and tear up cases like no one could ever imagine. Tiffany, stayed with me from my final day of judgement of divorce (FJOD) until today the last day when all proceeds of my estranged husband and I marital property was distributed. Tiffany, ability to read and follow up with every discovery I communicated to her was beyond me. Filing and counteracting motions that was coming from my estranged husband and his attorneys ( Yes , I meant attorneys my estranged husband used up 4 attorneys) throughout the years this divorce case lasted but I maintained same TIFFANY CLARKE BURROGHS. She took the 4 attorneys' on one by one and DEFEATED each and every one of them up to this last day of 11/16/2023 .She made sure I receive my 50% out of the proceeds distributed from my marital property. Tiffany , amazing work ethics and professionalism drew client like me even closer to her because of her ability to interpret the law .Most times I brought up some issues I thought will help me build a case and Tiffany, will call me Glory " I hear you but it will be wrong if I make you spend money for what you are just telling me now". I heard the above statements couple of times it guided me in working truthfully with Tiffany & she got me VICTORY. Thank you Tiffany !!!!

I cannot say enough about Mr. Smith. He is not only an attorney but a very kind and patient individual, and at times felt like a therapist. (Lol). His experience is very comforting in helping understand what to expect, etc., as sometimes legal cases, period can be nerve racking. Dennis Shimmell is knowledgeable and fights for his clients with a fierce passion. He offers great advice and is respectful without being fake. He helped me regain custody of my children and increase received child support. I will say that oftentimes judge’s dockets are busy and because of mandatory legal wait times, your case can’t be resolved right away. However, Attorney Shimmell will continue to work on your case and push to get it resolved in a timely manner. He is professional and abides by the legal ethical codes and therefore will not advise the opposing party. In my experience he does work with the opposing counsel well to help reach a fair resolution, if possible. I will always go back to Shimmell Law Offices for any of my legal needs.

After having had unpleasant consults with other lawyers who couldn't seem to wrap their heads around the idea that two women might be married and getting a divorce, it was important to me to find a lawyer who understood the queer community and London was that lawyer. She handled my divorce case and was indispensable in helping me get my kids back after my ex absconded with them and filed a baseless restraining order to prevent me from seeing them for more than a few hours a month under close supervision. She skillfully litigated the restraining order matter, even getting my ex to testify that she had no actual concerns about me that would warrant the order's restrictions. We were able to get a 50/50 parenting plan agreed to within a couple days of a judge dismissing the entire restraining order. As my ex continued to throw up roadblocks to avoid the even split we'd talked about, London was able to handle all of them
and her priority was always ensuring equity and the wellbeing of my kids rather than resorting to petty tactics or advising that we respond to my ex's roadblocks with escalation. We were able to settle and avoid going to trial, but I know that if we had ended up going to trial, I would have been in good hands.

From my initial phone conference with London through the whole daunting divorce process, I felt heard and supported. London told me more than once that she was my advocate, and she followed through with that. She supported me in my decisions after presenting all legal angles and possible outcomes. She wanted the best for me. When I was in doubt about various issues, London was able to see through the muddle and had a positive outlook on my overall outcome. She always made me feel like I was her only client.
When it came to mediation, London chose a very fair and balanced mediator who explained that not everything would go my way (or my ex-spouses way). Despite that, London fought as far as she could when it was needed. It was a long, slow day but when the mediator was consulting with the other side, London was always advising me on her next argument and strategy.
London's work was incredibly thorough, timely and organized. I always felt extremely comfortable and confident with the quality of her work. London is truly trustworthy.

I cannot say enough good things about Clepper Harrison & Duffy PLLC. From start to finish, I experienced the upmost professionalism and compassion. I ended every interaction with confidence and certainty. At the end of every call, Chanda and I both had clear expectations on what to do next--I had my tasks, she had hers, and every time we followed up, we were on the same page. She and her team are highly prepared, proficient, prompt, and consistent. I appreciated that the billing information was explained so well that I never felt like I had to wonder how much things were going to cost. I was billed on the 1st and the 15th of every month, and I personally loved that consistency. Although I have never worked with attorneys before, my personal opinion was that their fees were extremely fair and honest. Each bill had a running record of every item they completed, with times, dates, and explanations. I loved their practicality of providing phone calls and zoom calls, rather than meeting in person. My whole divorce was handled over phone calls/zooms and I never had to step foot into a court room. Although everyone's experience is different, I was able to complete an amicable, uncontested divorce that was finalized in just over 60 days. Without the help of Chanda and her team, there is no way I would have been able to do this on my own.
