I hired attorney Carima to handle my case. She was great. Christine is very knowledgeable was always professional and prepared. I know nothing about divorce and was scared and upset. She id very easy to talk to and calmed me down; answered all my questions. She got me the best outcome that I could have asked for. I have children and she explained that throughout life, as the needs of the kids and myself change, there may come a time to modify my divorce. I will be calling her again to handle that. I will be hiring her to take care of a civil matter as well. She also handles civil matters.

I contacted Ms. Carima in regards to an custody ruling from another state. She was extremely helpful in explaining what needed to be done to enforce the ruling in Massachusetts. Trying to decide on a lawyer is very stressful, you have to go with you gut and best decision after just a few short consultations. I felt comfortable and at ease with Anne right away and knew she was the right one to help me through this difficult process. I am sure glad I found her and know that she is the reason I was able to make it through this with a successful resolution.
Anne was extremely thorough and timely with my case. Any time I needed clarification or didn't understand the process, she was quick to respond and explain clearly to provide better understanding. I am a Father and my daughter wanted to live with me and attend school closer to my home (I wanted to enroll her into private school) so that would mean I would need to become the primary parent of residence. I thought it would be impossible to get that changed because I also have a career as a firefighter so my work schedule rotates and its 24 hour shifts. I contacted Robyn and she was upfront and honest provided me with possible outcomes.
Robyn was outstanding! She had to do the work of two attorneys because the defendants’ attorney would not submit paperwork to the court in a timely manner and that would’ve slowed the process. The case went to trial and having the experienced attorney really showed! I am now the primary parent of residence my daughter and I couldn’t be happier. She always answered my calls, emails and was on time. Both parents were found to be fit by the judge yet a change of custody was still granted in my favor.

Paula took on our contentious custody case in 2019. Despite many setbacks from COVID, she helped us get custody of our child in 2021. Her knowledge of the Maryland court system and family law set up our case in the most successful way possible through multiple pretrials and contempt hearings; we didn't have to go to a full trial. We believe her approach to our case and was the reason the defendant asked to settle. She has been an attorney in Anne Arundel County for over 30 years and her knowledge, network, and skills reflect this tenure. She is a bulldog in court and made sure the defendant's counsel followed litigation procedures absolutely perfectly or not at all; and the judges agreed. She understands the behaviors of disordered parents and knows how to approach them with legal actions that will perfectly document their performances in a manner that the courts will understand. The legal motions she drafted for our case were brilliantly written and documented the events of our case in a manner that truly showcased the poor actions of the other parent. Not only is she good at her job, she also truly cares for her clients and their families and still asks for updates on our kids. She is worth every penny you pay, and we cannot recommend her enough. I presented Mr. Postma with an extraordinarily complex case that was essentially 30 cases in one. To defend this case required him to develop a good working knowledge of a subject that requires years of study to really understand. He had about a month. He was able to prepare a superb brief and present the facts in a compelling way. He maintained his credibility and objectivity. I don't know the outcome of the case yet but I can say that I was well represented. I have worked with a variety of attorneys over the years and Mr. Postma was the best I have ever worked with.

I have to say, Mr. Postma's reviews are true.
I fired my former attorney and had to find a new one. No one would take my case. Then Mr. Postma gave me a 30 minute consultation. He was suspicious of my reasons for firing my last lawyer but asked me to bring him some documents to verify what I was saying. He then took my case 2 weeks before trial. His cross examination of my wife was fabulous. He found some information on her that even I was not aware of. The judge granted me 50/50 shared parenting time and parental responsibilities, which my former attorney in Greenwood Village said was not likely.
My former attorney made everything so complicated, but Mr. Postma simplified everything for the judge. I now realize I was sputtering whenever I talked about my wife's accusation, and Mr. Postma helped me realize this and helped my simplify was I was really upset about, which turned out to me something that surprised even me. He helped me calm down, helped me realize what was actually important at trial and what was not, and helped me simplify my own testimony at trial and during cross examination.
Mr. Postma is personable and seems to have an actual real life example from his long experience as an attorney for what I was facing, how the judge would process the information, what my ex-wife's motivations were and how she would react at trial, and what the judge's likely decision would be. He is like a chess player who has thought out every possible move a dozen moves in advance. I can't say enough about this attorney.

The Social Security Disability process is extremely difficult, confusing and frustrating. We srtruggled for the first few years, not knowing what to do or where to turn. By the time we contacted Maria Riddle, we had been denied and broken financially. Maria took charge, put us in touch with exceptional doctors and specialists, walked us through the disability process and made the experience way less horrible. There were times Alicia, her assistant and I just talked.. she knew how hard it was for us to go through this process and showed extrteme compassion every time we corresponded. I had a post-divorce matter arise because of the incompetence of the lawyer who handled my divorce. I reached out to Sabina and was desperate at the time because my ex-husband totally disregarded our settlement agreement. Sabina was patient and kind, but also ready to fight on my behalf. I was bereft and Sabina took the time to explain to me the issues with my settlement agreement, what issues we could reasonably litigate, and which ones I would have to accept were not enforceable. The not enforceable parts were because I got duped into thinking I did not need an attorney for my divorce in the first place because my ex-husband and I were "amicable."
I honestly felt like Sabina and her entire team took my case personally as though it was happening to them, and I know this is the way Sabina approaches all of her cases/clients. Sabina is a fighter for justice for her clients. I felt heard, supported, and I knew I was in expert hands. Sabina is a vigorous advocate, a fighter for justice, is laser sharp with the ability to identify critical issues that left me financially liable that were missed in my divorce. I never would have known without her help but it could have been avoided if I retained her to handle my divorce in the first place! Most importantly, Sabina does not give up. If she isn't sure of something, she will research it. I really appreciated everything she did for me.
Another important consideration in retaining an attorney is that Sabina was not going to let me spend thousands of dollars on issues that could not be litigated. I needed that perspective and guidance, like most clients do in divorce/post-dissolution proceedings, because we are emotional rather than logical. It was hard to swallow at times but I trusted her and her expertise implicitly. She was correct 10/10 times.
The take home message is YES you DO NEED your own lawyer in every divorce, no matter how "amicable" you think it is, and
Sabina IS the lawyer you need. Don't let the other side retain her; get there first!
I should share that I work in the legal field as an expert witness so I work with a LOT of attorneys. Most attorneys are mediocre, at best. A lot are simply horrible. There are precious few Sabina's out there and I am so grateful I found her and that she took my case.

I was recently divorced using another attorney in the area. I was in a 16 year marriage attached to the military. I was allotted a percentage of the retirement per the Final Agreement. When I attempted to start that process with DFAS, I was quickly notified that my Order was written incorrectly and needed to be modified and signed by a Judge. I wasn’t sure what to do so I reached out to Mr. Dejesus’ office. He was quick to respond and was able to help me. He was very knowledgeable in regards to how the modification was to be written and made the changes. He and his staff stayed in communications with me while waiting for the other parties to comply. I was on a time restraint to get the corrections per DFAS and even though that time had expired, to no fault of ours, Mr. Dejesus was reassuring that everything was an easy fix and they would honor the modification. He was right. Through his persistent follow ups with the other parties, I got my modification and was able to submit it with no problems. I would definitely recommend Mr. Dejesus. He is attentive to his clients and knows his job. You just have to trust him.

Literally I have zero complaints regarding Keller, and Brooke.
From the very same day I was injured i retained Doehling Law. That same week Brooke came to my home to sign the paperwork and made it so simple.
