My family and I were suddenly thrown into a situation that was truly new to us and one we’ve never experienced before. When I found myself being charged with crimes that I did not commit, Jeff willingly took up the case because it was the right thing to do. He worked closely with me to explain each step of the court process, give new information as soon as he got it, and followed up after the process was over. I know that Jeff usually only handles high profile cases that one can read about in the news, but he did this in his own time for very little money because he is a moral man. Jeff is hands down the most knowledgeable and skillful lawyer that I have ever met, and would certainly recommend him to anyone that is able to fit into his schedule.

I met Thomas C Woodridge through the Georgia Bar Association. He was one of the attorneys referred to me by the Georgia Bar Association and dealing with people with disability on the American Disability Act. After talking with him by phone, we met to discuss my case in his office, and I’m glad we did. I remember him telling me I had a case, and I’m so happy he took it. I had never seen an attorney like him who fought so hard and did the things that he did for me, A person that’s dyslexic, and I thank God that I had the opportunity to meet him when my back was up against the wall. During the deposition, it would be like fireworks to see how he had the city up against the rope, how he was chewing them up and spitting them out, and noticed that he did it from his heart. On a scale from 0 to 10, I will give him 10, but I will go back and borrow the zero, put it with the 10, and make it 100. That’s how good he is. I wish he were still here in Georgia practice instead of North Carolina because he is one of the best.

A friend who is a cop recommended him for my young son on an arson investigation. I texted him right away as the cops were at our door and with his advice, we got them to leave right away. My son got charged with a first degree felony anyway because the cops messed up a statement in the case. Warren was able to find this error and got the case dismissed. His promptness in responding and dedication to defending us saved our son from years of agony and a possible felony conviction. He always responded right away and works great with everybody. I’d give him ten stars if I could!

I had the pleasure of having Josh represent me while on parole/probation for (I still don't understand the difference!) for (believe it or not) tax evasion from 1998! My conviction was in October of 2014 and was the result of a plea bargain I agreed to only because the feds were harassing my family. Despite my acquiescence to the Federal Mafia, my mom and only brother haven't spoken to me since.

Mr.uller worked on my federal case and he did a great job. Mr.uller was very professional and he knows law,he was very efficient and effective when dealing with court proceedings. He made sure he made all his schedule appointments and if not I knew that he couldn't attend ahead of time. Mr. Uller stated facts he never let me interpret things that were not the truth, meaning I went in every situation knowing any outcome nothing was ever guaranteed. He gets to know his clients . Counselor Brand is a very competent, very professional attorney. After having a free, very thorough initial consultation with him, he immediately got to work on my case, meeting with the prosecutor at my dispositional hearing (which, only two days away, and thanks to his representation, I didn't even have to attend), and that very same day HAD ALL THE CHARGES DISMISSED!
I simply couldn't recommend Scott any more highly. A very thoughtful, intelligent who GETS RESULTS ... fast.
If you're case is in North Dakota or Minnesota, you could not be better served by anyone else than Mr. Brand.

Scott Brand is an honest lawyer who is worth many times more than his retainer. I was not at first not satisfied by the rural lawyers I came across in McKenzie county or that came up by sponsored links on Google. I found Scott by going to the prosecutor's office in another town, Dickinson, and asking for a private criminal lawyer that they would reccomend. At first I was shocked that the reccomendation to the lawyer was all the way in Fargo. I called him and he agreed to meet with me when I was passing through. At first I was a bit uneasy that the office was 6 hours away from the county in which I was facing charges, but this is normal for North Dakota. I am so glad that I went to Fargo instead of responding to the lawyers out there in that corner of North Dakota. My brother and I went to Scott's office one time and he was courteous and more than professional. Because I live in France, all of the contact was done over phone, mail, or e-mail from this point onwards. A week after this meeting, Scott gained access to the bodycam footage of the officer and it was clear that this was a civil rights violation. The prosecutor still rejected this argument, despite the fact that everything was on camera. Scott drafted some sort of long, complex legal document that was based in North Dakota state case history to fight my case. When he actually appeared in court to defend this document, the prosecutor and police officer were still tenacious. The judge threw out the case, however, and issued a written ruling entirely in agreement with Scott. I got back the entirety of the bail money that I paid to the county and more importantly I have my life back. If I had had to go on probation in North Dakota, who knows what type of problems this would have caused me later on. His retainer is totally worth several times over what he charged. He made it so I never had to appear in court in any hearing or as a witness, so that I did not have to return from France, which would have easily cost several thousand dollars per appearance. For a lawyer, Scott is more than honest. He doesn't overpromise. I felt reassured throughout the whole course of several months. I really don't envision that other lawyers might have been able or even dedicated such an amount of hard work to beat the charges. I don't have a great opinion of lawyers in general and I'm not sure that the other lawyers I had consulted would have not just taken my money and then advised me to take a plea deal to finish everything as fast as possible.

I have been acquainted with attorney Brian Snow for 15+ years. He became my lawyer when I was running a business. He not only improved my contracts by adding necessary clauses and making them air tight, he was also there for me whenever a legal matter arose. Several years later he handled my divorce which was a very emotional ordeal. He was understanding, patient and once again took charge of what was needed to be done. And lastly, he helped me with the ordeal regarding the sale of my house. There were multiple problems that occurred and he was there to answer my questions, intervene with other lawyers and the real estate agents, offer support, and humor. The positive outcome was due to his hard work and diligence. There is no other person that I would use to handle any legal issues. Nick worked with Paul Bartels on our cases. They really went the extra mile in our case. We hired them for a drug / controlled substances case. Well, it was more like three different cases in two different counties, including a probation violation case, a new controlled substances violation case, and a different controlled substances case (where a gun was also found, though it wasn't his, but the DA might have said who knows what). So, this was an extremely difficult situation, with three felonies in 2 counties all being processed at the same time! It took a lot of juggling! And on top of all that, our goal was to get the person into rehab, in order to get better, versus just to have time in jail. They had so much work to do to make this happen, helping to identify rehabs that the judge would approve, that the probation officer would approve, that the DA would approve. Nick and Paul were professional, courteous, and hard working. We are very appreciative.

Over 11 years ago I first met Rick when I was about to be charged with two 30-year counts. Because of his intellect, connections and careful planning, I went from spending the rest of my life in prison to non-adjudicated probation to having my charge sealed. Our family used Mr. Hutchinson based upon a recommendation for a family member involved in a serious criminal matter. We had never been involved in anything like this. Mr. Hutchinson upon our first meeting was apathetic, knowledgable and concerned. I'll start by saying that I never write reviews. I have never taken the time to write one, until now. Just over a year ago, I was arrested and charged with multiple felonies. My world was turned upside down. The prospect of a lengthy prison sentence was too much to digest. I knew very little about the legal system and had avoided trouble with the law for most of my life. I found Mr. Landes after the first attorney that I hired failed to get going on my case, he would not return my calls or meet with me for weeks. When I initially called Mr. Landes, he ask about my case in detail, he was straight forward and gave me his honest assessment of my situation. I do not trust anything to do with the united states justice system, and when i initially met Kristen, i was rude in the way i expressed my frustration, not anger as i prejudiced her in my own personal resentments. However, over what i knew to be lunch time, she listened to me rant and yell , not specifically at her, or to her and patiently cut in to tell me her opinions and options while remaining respectful to her proffesion, and expressed her willingness to remain unwaivering in what little was allowed by law in the initial proceedings of the allegations , which frustratingly enough were not even clear. I kept my promise to her to proceed as she thought best, and remain within orders of the court if we were to be successfull, and the charges were dismissed. She was attentive to detail despite a very hot room during a very busy day, in a court and jail very backed up " due to Co- vid " and retained my ideas as well as hers, implemented them as she promised and articulated to me expertly clear , while remaining sweet and considerate in a situation where i could have been easily been run of the mill, overbearing zealous addict or A$5 ho13 . ( Professional ) and understanding unjudgmental in her own right. The psychology of her demeaner and straight line execution along with very articulate explanation, was as good as it gets and the execution was just as she promised. I would reccomend her for anyone whom finds to themselves in a situation over bearing or so frustrating that they aren't truely concerned about thier case but find themselves venting to a stranger in anger because there isn' t anyone else. What I liked most about having Mr. Elliston as my attorney was how I didn't have to be my own lawyer - on the job training, at fighting my own case, not good. I never left his office confused nor feeling like I’m stupid or as if he didn't really listen or hear me, but more importantly - he proved over and over again to be a staunch defender and supporter of my innocence and as my lawyer, he didn’t let anyone else forget it - not even me, in other words - he’s not going to allow you to hold your head down, he makes you feel like now that he’s onboard, your chances just increased 100% so hold your head up high! It’s little things like that that meant the world to me.
I liked that Mr. Elliston was also patient with me, once a very nervous and confused client, he was compassionate and understanding, often knowing exactly how I would be feeling throughout this situation and helping me to overcome the doubt. He would always remind me that he was on my side and that we are in this together. He just took over! He was good at “exposing the other sides hand & helping me to understand the prosecutor’s/accuser position and what they’re most likely up to in cases like mine and why the system works like this or like that, etc.!” So many reasons I chose to hire him - he told me to go back to work, to take care of my health and to start eating again, to stop worrying and go back to living life and enjoying my family and to now “let him go to work on my case”. He would often get me to relax by saying “you told me the truth, you gave me all that I've asked of you, we fully understand what the plan is and now let me go and show you how we're going to fight this thing”! We’d talk and strategize, then we’d talk more and again find more to be uncovered and analyzed, and then researched, always in constant communication with me - all efforts were always leading towards our strong end game. And throughout this process, not only did I witness how very detailed oriented he is but I soon came to realize what a great a communicator I had in my lawyer. And not to mention how his people skills shined through when we began to build a coalition of friends and advocates/witnesses to help with my case.
He went to work - on my case, never making me feel as if he had “a ton of other things do!” He pushed on, perseverance, creative thinking and just flat out persistence - he didn’t let up and he doesn’t let up until he gets what’s best for his client!

Peter, over the past three years, helped me get the best result ever. My case has been expunged, and I have been able to continue to grow rather than be hindered by my past actions. I wish I could give 100 stars, 5 just isn't enough. Mr. Binder is an outstanding lawyer and anyone should have the utmost confidence when hiring him.
I hired him for a drug related case vs the State of Wisconsin. I was facing 9 felony charges. The most serious one up to 40 years in prison and the others weren't much better; together they totaled 143 years maximum imprisonment exposure. On top of this, the prosecutor was no slouch, quite the opposite in fact, lots of prison is always what he wants and he doesn't budge on that. This prosecutor actively tried to make my charges sound worse than they really were to the judge during the hearings to a blatant degree; I got the feeling the State really wanted to put me away for a long time, which was terrifying.
From day one I always got the impression that Mr. Binder worked tirelessly on my case, doing everything and researching everything that he possibly could to get me the best decision possible. I also got the impression that he genuinely cared about my wellbeing and was invested in the outcome of my case far past any payment, and I was right (read to end to see why). To begin, Mr. Binder and his firm secured my bail at $5000, when the State asked for $100,000. Mr. Binder poured over every piece of evidence while crafting my defense and kept me in the loop the entire time. He was able to successfully elongate my case, always getting at least 3 months between hearings, if not more. In conjunction with that, he gave me tips and ideas on what I could do to best boost my chances of a favorable verdict, which turned out to be very helpful. As a result, I had the time I needed to follow through with his suggestions and I am confident that they saved me a lot of prison time. Throughout the case Mr. Binder made himself available whenever I had questions or concerns and he always took the time to explain everything in great detail to me; often times this would take up hours of his time and I always felt as though he was glad to do it. The initial plea offer from the State was 8 years in prison, which Mr. Binder thought was unnecessarily high and he was able to get the plea down to some amount of prison time, left to the Court's decision, with the ability for the Defense to argue. With this prosecutor that seemed like magic. In the end, he was able to argue for 4 years of probation with 9 months of condition time (3 months straight time, 6 months Huber) and an imposed and stayed sentence of a few years. I was not fined at all, and I was able to get a report date 1 month out from my sentence date instead of being taken to jail right after sentencing. This is where most lawyers would end it, but not Mr. Binder. He continued to keep in contact with me and help me navigate the Huber situation; he reached out multiple times to the HOC in attempts to get information from them, get them to guarantee my release for Huber (HOC makes their own rules and can just ignore what the judge says, doesn't make sense at all, broken system) and possibly get me electronic monitoring instead (still up in the air, but probably a no due to my charges, nothing he can do about that). The HOC is wholly incompetent in every regard, yet Mr. Binder keeps trying, and keep in mind, he is not obligated to at all, my case is over, he can walk away anytime he wants, but he's choosing to go far above and beyond and it's fantastic. Mr. Binder is not just a phenomenal lawyer, he is a phenomenal human being as well, and it shows in many ways. He is the type of lawyer that all others should strive to be like and live up to.
The bottom line is, hiring Mr. Binder was the best decision I could have made. If you want a truly outstanding lawyer who will do everything he can for you and treat you like his friend or family, Mr. Binder is your man. Do not hesitate to hire him.

I was pretty devastated about my situation until I called John. He had been recommended to me by someone I trust and almost immediately made me feel better about what was going on. We sat down and talked. By the end of the conversation, I was sure I picked the right guy. From then on, he had everything under control. Any time something came up, he handled it and let me know. Every time I asked him something, he had the answer or got back to me right away. I once called hm in a panic because I missed a form in the mail and thought I was going to lose my license. He had already submitted the form for me. I called him when my scram broke and fell off in the middle of the night and he got ahold of all the right people and I was able to make it right without me being non compliant.
