It was a pleasure to work with Attorney Robert Arthur. I needed an attorney to advise me for a local production company that did filming on my property without my knowledge or approval. Attorney Arthur was extremely knowledgeable, and made sure that I understood the “gray area” of the law. He listened very attentively, without interruption to make sure he had a thorough understanding of the issue at hand; and then reiterated what I was looking for.. He then explained in great detail what the law allows, and next steps. Attorney Arthur then sent out detailed correspondence to opposing counsel and myself, after every conversation we had. Attorney Arthur was always responsive to my phone calls, texts, and email.
I highly recommend working with Attorney Arthur. Some attorneys do not feel the need to communicate the law to their clients level of understanding. Some also fail to keep clients informed of their case details, step-by-step. This was not the case with Attorney Arthur, and he exceeded my expectations.

Don't let her age fool you, Laura knows her stuff. I had a difficult and very contentious case with my ex. My ex was attempting to restrict my visitation with my daughter. Laura was all over it, she completely destroyed my exes case and laid waste to her first lawyer pre-trail and her second lawyer during the trial. I went from possibly having my visitation restricted to gaining primary custody of my daughter after not seeing her for a year and a half.
I really can't say enough about Laura. My ex continues hiring new lawyer after new lawyer and Laura continues to send them packing!! I wouldn't dream of having anyone else in my corner. If you want someone that is going to fight tooth and nail for you and isn't going to BS you she's the one you need. If you choose anyone else and find yourself on the otherside of court against Laura...well good luck!

Mr. Kreitzer was hired by me for what I thought would be a short case. However, it’s lasted over a year (not by any fault of his) due to opposition dragging things on and on. Mr. Kreitzer was patient and kind. Absolutely knowledgeable and does not allow the other side to push you around and gave his best advisement regarding the circumstances every step of the way. Mr. Shanahan was always very professional and caring. He listened to all my concerns about my case and answered every question I had. He was very quick with all his responses either via phone call or email. If I ever wanted to meet with him he was usually avaible that same week to sit down and discuss my case. His paralegal Suzanne was extremely nice and polite. They both made this experience less daunting. I am a consumer from another State with property in Virginia. I contacted Elizabeth Thorne in reference to property in State of Virginia. Ms. Thorne resolved a 20 year problem quick and Top Notch. Because I am from another State, I had to trust Elizabeth Thorne to take care of the issue in the State of Virginia. Elizabeth was a terrific attorney for my divorce. She listened to my concerns, addressed every one of them, she answered emails promptly and ensured I saw drafts in a timely fashion. At the beginning of my process, we developed a timeline and she stuck right to it. Also, because my divorce was fairly uncomplicated and uncontested, the entire process came in under budget. While I certainly hope to never go through another divorce, I wouldn't hesitate to use Elizabeth again if the need arose. Highly Recommend!!

Knowledge and level of effort that are worth worth 4x what he charges. The guy worked twice as hard as my last attorney that literally changed me a retainer 4x what Mr Castle charged me. I can't say enough good things about this group of professionals. I know some will read this glowing review and think it to be a shill or fake review, but I dont care. I wont give this review any less than Mr Castle gave me in court.
I consulted with several attorneys before choosing The Castle Law firm. Mr. Castle was the only one that was willing to do the extra work and go the extra mile to get all the charges before I turned myself in. So I knew what I was facing before hand, to properly be prepared. That set the tone for the kind of service I received through out the entire case. Because of his effort he got me bail so cheap I could pay the bond without even going to the atm, then he got me a really great deal from the ADA. But I was dead set on clearing my name so we went to trial. The staff was always helpful keeping me updated and were easy to deal with. When the trial started I was able to see why Castle is known as the best damn trial lawyer in 3 county's. He stayed cool under pressure when the pretrial motions started. All the while I'm losing faith in the justice system with every motion the judge gives the prosecution. And the jury selection didnt make it look any better. By the time the ADA was done presenting the first witness I felt beaten. But not Castle. He reminded me, in not so many words, that it's not the luck of the draw the matters it's the way you play your cards, that count.
Once the state rested their case, Mr Castle began to slowly present his facts. Strategically shining a light on the holes in their case. With every question he asked you started to see a whole new picture coming to light. It was not long after that, I felt the tide begin to turn in our favor. As the fact pattern developed you could see he was in total control of everyone's attention in that court room, it was like a general leading the army to battle. The closing argument brought the different pieces together the way a conductor brings together the instruments of an orchestra. He gave the jury a chance to see and hear past the smoke and mirrors presented by a prosecutor that seemed to care more about winning than he cared about truth... the only thing I remember after that is hearing the judge say "Not Guilty"

There is an old saying which states, “The definition of a fair divorce settlement is that both parties walk away unhappy.” After 31 years of marriage, raising three children and running a successful company, I did not want this antiquated interpretation of divorce to define our family. My family and I went to Bender Law for our estate planning and family will. I interviewed a few attorneys before I came to Margaret. She was beyond professional when did not judge me in any way. I went through a very difficult time and she was there in every way I needed her to be. Margaret allowed me to explain to her exactly what I wanted and she took her time to listen and not stop me in any way. She took the time to learn how I communicated so she was able to communicate better with me. This was more than I needed to get through my divorce I got tired of my attorney I fired telling me that it would be best to just take the offer. I ONLY clicked on ONE lawyer, as time was of the essence when my spouse left me unexpectedly. Something I'd never drempt would happen! He'd cancelled any means he thought I'd have to stand up for my own rights. MARGARET BENDER and her very dedicated staff, DIANA and VANESSA, have all helped me survive down this very sad path we call Divorce! They allowed me to come in immediately. I had called on a Friday night, but they had no idea (nor did I) that I'd make it on a plane and be there that Monday morning! I met Mr. Peller in 2018, I found Ken’s contact online after talking and meeting with several lawyers. When I first met with ken, I felt I finally find the right person. Till today, I have been feeling fortunate and greatful that I found him and made the decision to have him as my attorney.
Ken is a great attorney with lots of experience. He truly listened to me, to what I wanted and to what I had concern about then give me his advise. What’s more than that is he also thought from the child’s perspective, sometimes he would just think and talk like a friend of mine, if not an attorney. We would walk through the impact of the case direction to the kid, including what’s several years down the road.
Ken has his own law firm, I can get in contact with him directly. Ken replies phone calls as soon as he can If he missed one. And the email exchanges with Ken were also on time and informational.
My case involved a young child and last over a year, it was a difficult time especially when the other party was using what he knew about the law telling lies, threatening and harassing me. But I could always get assured from Ken that the other party did not have a stand at all. And it was proven that he was right every time.
My case had to go to the court after all. In a nutshell, Ken had prepared me and the case really well, his performance on the court went beyond my expectation. Finally, we won. Property was divided fairly. Most importantly, I got the kind of custody I wanted for my child.
I will definitely recommend Ken to the people I know who needs help and advise.

Mr. Peller is my lawyer and helped me through a complex and difficult divorce. He is very calm and professional. He has a lot of experience and knows the important issues. He is a very good listener. He asked the right questions and collected the all the relevant information. When we first met, I was still in the initial emotional stage and he helped me get through this and begin moving towards the logical fact-based issues that needed to be dealt with. He kept me appraised of what my rights were and that there were limits to how much could be taken from me. He easily explained when my spouse was asking for things that would never stand up in court. Chris came highly recommend and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the outcome. I came to Chris with a divorce case involving tricky financial issues and student loan debt. Chris found the case law to reinforce my position, and consulted outside sources to make sure all the bases were covered.
The process lasted a year and through it all Chris was honest and straightforward about the challenges of our case. He’s a great lawyer because he never promised an outcome or inflated expectations. He understands the legal and emotional issues that arise. He kept my expectations realistic at every move and he was right every time.
My case was resolved in a settlement hearing luckily and not a trial. I credit Chris’ steadfast preparation of arguments and case law that showed the other side a settlement would be best.

Seventeen years ago I met John due to the child visitation/support issues I faced. He took everything I had to say into consideration and explained my rights as a parent while keeping the best interest of the kids in mind. My mother suffered a fractured jaw and bruised ribs from a fall at a commercial parking lot in Kailua. It was obvious the property management firm was negligent due to no lighting and obstructions leading to the overflow parking lot. You never want to settle directly with the insurance adjuster unless you have representation from an attorney. After consulting with dozens of attorneys who claimed they specialized in personal injury claims 99% refused to take the case citing: age of mom, Medicare issues and/or trouble prosecuting premise injuries. I finally came across with Sam King. Wow immediately I knew I found the right attorney. Most lawyers did not even want to spend much time on the phone discussing the issue but Mr. King invited us to his office and I could immediately know he was knowledgeable and very experienced in handling such cases. He knew how to work the system and who to talk with to get a good settlement. Other attorneys were simply clueless on many of these matters. I also liked that Mr. King never charged a penny upfront and I was free to consult with him regarding matters to this case. Very friendly and honest he could discuss the possible issues to expect. What my mom and I REALLY cherished from Mr. King was his ability to really listen. All these other attorneys talk and interrupt you constantly. Many times victims are formulating their thoughts and instead of assisting your thought process other attorneys cut you off. But not Mr. King. At the end we got a really big settlement w/o even having to go to trial. I would overwhelmingly recommend Mr. King to anyone who has experienced a personal injury.
