I retained Shannon to help me finalize a divorce and had a great experience working with her. Her advice was easy to understand and thoughtful. She was always prompt to respond to emails and I would certainly recommend her to others.

Ed handled my initial divorce, and a few years later, handled my case again when there was an attempt to modify the custody and support settlement. Through the course of three pre-trial conferences, he kept me informed and gave excellent counsel. At the end of the third conference, we attempted to make a settlement offer, which was denied. We ended up going to trial. I wasn't all that excited it went so far, though that was due to the other involved party and not Ed. When we got to court, Ed was extremely prepared. We had so much information available for the judge to review, significantly moreso than the other party. And when it came to questioning the involved parties, I felt Ed did an excellent job of getting to the point, asking the most important and relevant questions. The judge found completely in our favor, and I know that had everything to do with how well prepared Ed was, and how he presented all the information in court. I would highly recommend Ed.

Joan is efficient, fast, time-conscious and very cost effective. She made excellent recommendations for outside professionals' services and refused to move forward without some of those services, which proved to be invaluable. She cuts through the confusion in a situation and tells you what you need to hear. Joan believes in what is right and will fight for her client to get what is fair. Family law is not a fun experience at the least, and pure agony is expected. A lack of quality representation abounds in Las Vegas, where sometimes it seems your lawyer wants the money without even putting a thought into your case. I am grateful that was not my experience with Jennifer Abrams.
I came to Jennifer after my previous representation repeatedly dropped the ball and gave bad advice. Jennifer and her team were attentive and professional. The advice I was given had reasonable support, and their preparation made for a favorable outcome. Most importantly, she is passionate about helping her clients and she always came to court prepared, informed and ready to tackle the case.

This lawyer single handedly litigated against not one, not two, but three lawyers per hearing during my case and was victorious each time. Mike helped my wife and I prepare our living trust. He was patient with us while we dealt with everything one deals with while making the decisions you have to make throughout this process. He was able to provide advice based on past experiences and he made the process simple for us. I used Mike Amthor as my divorce attorney. Going through a divorce was the single worst thing I have experienced. Mike and his staff never let me down. He fought hard for my case and my daughter. I usually don't write reviews buy I felt compelled to share my experience with Steve. Now here's the thing I called at 5:30 pm on a Saturday and he answered! It was on a whim and im so happy that I found him and reached out. I explained my what I feel might be a "messy" situation trying to get divorced. He listened with no judgement and told me that I already seem to know what to do but let me help you if i can. He offered for me to fill out all my paperwork (because the court house lost my divorce paperwork SMH) and when I have it all in order to email him and he said he will not charge me for him to look it over. I have called a couple lawyers and no one ever offered me anything like this. I feel he really heard me and I am just so grateful that he answered my call. Going forward if I need to retain he is who I will be retaining. This man is very kind, humble and just a good guy. Thank you Steve you gave me my hope back that I lost for some time. I wish I could give more then 5 stars!

I rarely write online reviews, but i think it is critical in this instance, firstly, because I used Avvo in assisting with my legal selection and consumers need this data. So, I will be as honest as I can.
Attorney Zlochiver is principled. I found his service to be based upon fairness and seeking the best outcome within the limits of the law, and done with an un-excitable, stable spirit. This sometimes was a sticking point for us. My opponent was aggressive and angry, and I wanted more energy; wisely, Attorney Zlochiver did not return all of the flaming brands I requested of him. In the end, for better or worse, he tempered my anger and frustration with my case.
Attorney Zlochiver is responsive. He was always reachable by email and phone. Reasonable response times were always met.
In summary, if you are seeking retribution and revenge, I don't think you'll find satisfaction here. I occasionally felt as though we could have been more aggressive--going on the offensive vs. a defensive posture, but Steve knew it would have been a futile, mis-use of my fee and he was careful about fee utilization.

In searching for a family lawyer, I had three criteria:
1) A competent lawyer who is familiar with the presiding judge. It is important that the lawyer knows what the judge looks for in a case both in the court room and the filed documentation. He was able to advise of the proper strategy to get the best case scenario without having the situation spiral into a more contentious case.
2) An objective lawyer who has enough court-room experience to be realistic in assessing possible outcomes. Rather than simply being hopeful, he suggested contingencies for the most plausible decisions that the judge may make during the hearing.
3) An understanding lawyer who would work with my limited budget & time. Mr. Zlochiver took on my case knowing of my financial situation and worked into the late evening on new documentation in order to bolster my case the following morning.
Steven Zlochiver certainly does not comes to mind when you think of the typical ambulance-chasing lawyer. Not a shark. Not a clock watcher. Rather, someone you definitely want in your corner who is willing to relate to your circumstances.

Wish I had used Anita when I first filed for divorce. She has now corrected the areas that were left open by a previous attorney that caused issues not setting clear, outlined specifics that put me back in court. She is like a surgeon knowing what needs to get cut and what needs to be modified all in good health.

Ron provides honest feed back & isn't afraid of challenging you on points that you state that may not be legitimate in court. Ron believes in what is best for the minor children and gets results based on this alone. He was able to get the parenting plan I proposed which my ex was against and not in the best interest of the children. I would hire Ron again if I needed him and I have referred him and he got excellent results for my friend, again with the children's best interests in mind. It was a tough situation not only did I lose a partner I was also pregnant during my divorce. When it comes to family law attorneys there are many choices out there. I wouldn't trust anyone to handle my personal affairs other than Elizabeth Johnson. Going through a divorce was probably one of my life's most liberating moment. It was a difficult transition, but to be able to have the courage to finally do something you know you should have done for a long time. I knew the minute I met Andrew and Elizabeth that it was a match. Andrew was so stern, persuasive, and quick on his feet and Elizabeth is so precise, relatable and attention to detail. They both were very matter of fact, problem solvers, and total geniuses with numbers.
After our first initial consultation, I told them what was going on with my husband at the time's on going affairs and abuse. Without judgement, they sat and listened and gave me comfort in examples of what kind of cases they have scene and how mine was not the worse. I didn't have any children, I was still at a pretty young age, and they asked me: "Do you want to leave him?" and I said yes! Just that first decision was a shift in stepping into my own and choosing happiness over obligation. They were able to file for a divorce and served him the subpoena the day he got back from his "business trip"
They were always on top of everything and when we first started off I was making rookie mistakes like forwarding every threatening email my ex would write me which they could have easily billed me for but they made sure to get me on the phone to advise me how to consolidate and print the emails so I can save some money.
The whole team here are so helpful. If I had a question, I would get a response almost right away, or if they were in court at least a couple hours after. If emails were too long to write out, I would get a phone call so that everything is clear and we know exactly what the action plan is as to next steps. I always felt I was taken care of and that they were on my side and behind me, fighting for what I deserve.
During the last step of mediation, and we sat across from my ex and his lawyer. I could not have been more confident and ready. Every attempt my ex brought up to try to take from me such as my luxury handbags, jewelry, 401k, engagement ring, down payment of our houses, somehow Andrew would find something to rebuttal, and reason him out of it.
Through the whole process, they were thorough, strategic and got me out with more than I could ask for. I am finally a new woman, without a cheating husband and have my own house, car and bank account full of savings I can fall back on singing "You don't own me, I'm not just one of your many toys...". I am now officially divorced, the final paperwork was filed with the court and the minute that happened and I got the email from Andrew and Elizabeth I literally felt 100% exonerated.
I know I wouldn't have been able to do it on my own. All that paperwork, my ex and his many masks, scheming, harassing, manipulating... paying the lawyers to do all the work and not having to deal with being in contact with my ex was worth every penny. It's been 8 months since I filed for divorce, I have seen couples that are still trying to get their spouse to sign 2 years after filing for divorce. I am so relieved it only took us 8 months. Now that it's all over, I can move on to the next chapter of my life.
Thank you Andrew, Elizabeth, Robin and the entire team for being so efficient and supportive during this process. I highly recommend anyone looking for representation to hire Andrew and Elizabeth. You will not regret it!

Being a mother in a dangerous relationship/living situation was my worst nightmare -- it became my reality as a 21 year old. I hired Jack O'Connor to represent me for visitations of my daughter. Mr. O'Connor was very knowledgable and prepared for court. I had not seen my daughter over a year due to mother not allowing her to see me. I have been paying child support for four years and never missing one payment. I finally got fed up of it and hired a attorney. Mr O'Connor was able to get me every other weekend visitation and overnight stays. I googled pro-Bono attorneys, since I’m a full time single mom right now and up against a wealthy abusive ex. Even though it turned out Navid doesn’t work pro bono, he still generously and patiently answered all of my questions.
