Mr. Furtado was instrumental in our successful resolution of a large hail damage claim against the insurance company. He was extremely knowledgeable and his advice and strategy was absolutely client focused. His main objective was to get our damages covered. Most attorneys in this field seem to be focused on getting a reasonable settlement with with as little effort as possible. Others we interviewed were not as passionate or knowledgeable and were clearly focused on a quick settlement and little effort on their part. David understood our real need to get a new roof etc and kept this at the forefront and was willing to keep fighting until we were satisfied. Next time I will skip the public adjuster and go straight to David Furtado's firm.

David helped me with a domestic violence case that was complicated by exaggerated claims from the victim. My desired outcome was a deferred judgement which was not happening as long as the court had reason not to. David used extensive knowledge of procedural motions and the prosecution to gain victory after many months of work.
It was costly. But I am convinced I could have paid much more or worse, ended up with a domestic violence conviction permanently on my record.

My sister and I hired Steve Grabenstein to represent us in litigation over our fathers estate. Steve and his team (Pat & Heather) were always responsive to our needs and request. They were always VERY prepared for each step in the case. I am not sure how my sister found Steve but I am very glad she did. Through Steve's representation and guidance we were able to settle the estate in our favor. Steve had our best interest in mind at every step of the process. This was my first experience with an American attorney, in fact with any attorney.
I researched the internet and consulted my American friends with legal background (two retired lawyers) before contacting Mr Dennin.
At the outset I was impressed by his approach, which was encouraging: rigor of his questions, logic in reasoning.
Later I learned one of his basic principle that "preparation is everything", which I particularly liked.
Mr Dennin spend enough time to research all relevant material of the case.
On that basis he was in a position to prepare legal papers that were comprehensive and specific and supplemented by facts and most relevant legal precedents.
He took time to outline and explain to me legal proceedings, and consulted with me - in person, on the phone, via e-mail - on all important matters.
He presented me with copies of legal papers which allowed me to follow rather lengthy development of the case.
Mr Dennin's legal strategy was realistic and results oriented. This was particularly evident during a mediation event.
He was always available for me if I wanted to contact him.
I think that we have established a very good communication.
Being represented by him made me fill assured and comfortable.
As a person, I have found him a pleasant, courteous and ready to listen.
As a professional, he has vast experience spread over many years and success in defending rights of his clients.
All in all I think that Mr Dennin is a kind of attorney which I would recommend with full conviction.

Our former broker, financial consultant, is in jail until 2025. We realized we were in deep financial trouble after losing our entire life's savings to the lies and deceptions of our broker. A very close friend of ours, who also had also retained Tim and had used the same broker, gave us Timothy J Dennin's name. This "gentle" man was so helpful to us, we honestly did not know where/how to start a claim. Tim's patience with us on the telephone was unbelievable. There were times when my husband was so distraught, I honestly did not know what to do with thousands of pieces of correspondence & fake statements! So, what did I do? I called Tim Dennin and he always gave me the knowledge and strength to forge ahead. He gave our case 150%, and was successful in recouping money from a large brokerage firm. We have one more Arbitration Case, and, again, hired Tim Dennin to represent us. He is professional in every way. And, did I mention honesty? David represented me in a case where a former law firm I hired sued me for a legal fee actually earned by a successor law firm in complex commercial litigation. David very quickly understood the facts and circumstances of the very complicated multi-year litigation underlying the case and drafted with perfection all legal filings in the case, including handing the other side major setbacks at the motion to dismiss stage of the case. Ms. Brumback was the lead attorney on a team that defended a large national Architectural firm in a complicated claim brought by a very aggressive health care institution's legal team.
At all times, Ms. Brumback patiently and competently led our firm through the process. Our firm had been very successful over the many years it had been in operation in avoiding such claims and, as a result, required much guidance from the legal team in assisting in our own defense.

I returned a product to a store owner and he claimed he would issue me a credit on my credit card once his credit card machine was working again. He never did after multiple phone calls and then sent me a bad check. Melissa wrote him a letter to "put the fear of God (or fear of lawyers, perhaps)" into him, which seemed to work, since he finally sent me a check for my refund that cleared.

Ms. Brumbach represented my firm on two separate occasions. The first as a member of a legal team who defended us against a former client. Rather than meet to discuss the concerns in person, this client was persuaded by an aggressive law firm to resolve the matter through the courts. Their incentive being the expectation of a large insurance settlement from a policy we carried at the time.
The second was as our attorney in a suit to collect fees from a client who withheld final payment for work we performed. Rather than meet to discuss, this client ceased communication.
In both instances she became familiar with the facts very quickly and developed a well conceived plan for both our defense and the merits of our claim.
We would not hesitate to engage her if the need arose once again.

Mr. Laufar not only approached the case as requested, he also introduced other variables that resulted in a larger award. He explained parts of the law that we were not aware of at the time. Had we gone to Mr. Laufar 6 months earlier, we would have had a much larger award than obtained at the end of the case. If any follow-up work is required, we will definitely go back to Mr. Laufar and we do recommend him for any legal action.

I hired Attorney Amschler to help me as a plaintiff in a case involving unfair trade practices, fraudulent misrepresentation and breach of contract. I was up against a very high powered Washington DC law firm. The following are the reasons why Jim has earned my business, trust, confidence, and my highest rating, :
Prior to taking on my case, Attorney Amschler was committed to doing thorough research into the matter, the local statutes and practices of the court. Attorney Amschler presented me with practical information, which was well articulated giving me the confidence that he knew what he was doing and that had a clear method for developing a winning strategy.
After retaining Attorney Amschler. He spent a great deal of time reviewing the evidence for the case and writing a bulletproof complaint. I must say having a real reputable law firm especially Shulman and Hill as representation for my workmans compensation case was most definitely the best and right law firm to chose. Nelly, Angela the staff at Shulman and Hill are very professional, dedicated. Very sincere concerning. They each walked me thru step by step on what the process will be in detailed. There ongoing efforts that they brought to the tables was definitely way beyond of there call of duties. They fought tooth and nail to get the results they and myself were looking for. The countless hours, The days and nights they endured and the non stop dedication to get the case done was purely magical. Outstanding. I hired Aurelia for a wrongful termination lawsuit. Selected her from a recommendation from a friend who had hired her. At first, I paid her hourly, and then we switched to a contingency fee basis. We won't use any other attorney for Arbitration/ Lit files at our billing company, when we take on a new no fault client we specifically state we won't bill unless we can use him. I have worked with other attorneys in the past and the results Stefan and his firm produce for our doctors is amazing. I can say from experience if your cases are with another attorney you are losing money.

I was introduced to Sammy through a group of investors that had a challenging situation regarding an investment that each had made individually. Although there were over 20 individual investors involved in the case, Sammy made sure that everyone was kept informed of the status of lawsuit and the uphill battles that we may be faced with. Attorney Jennifer Rossi recently represented me in an issue that had me at odds with the State of Ct Health Dept. The State either wanted me to fix a “problem” with a job I performed many years ago or hand them my license to do business in Ct. Atty. Rossi was completely successful in defending me and the case was dropped. I was impressed by her attention to detail, and her dogged pursuit of this matter. She showed an expertise where a few other attorneys I contacted feared to go or were going to research the statutes, or put their younger staff members on it all on my dime.
