Greg was better than I could have imagined. My case came up just a few days before I was supposed to leave the country and he handled it perfectly. He talked with the judges and prosecutors to move my court dates earlier so I was able to travel, explain my situation and worked out a solution that allowed me to continue my plans as if nothing happened. Even while out of country he has been in contact with me for resolutions on all matters. Everything in my power will make sure I never need a lawyer again, but if so, or if someone I know needs a recommendation, I will not hesitate to give them Greg’s contact. If more than 5 stars were possible, I’d give 10.

I hired Gregory Hoffman to represent me in a civil case against an ex-partner of mine in December of 2020.
I will start off by saying that every case is different, and therefore, every outcome is different. Below is an account of my unique case and experience with Gregory Hoffman.
My case was kind of a two-parter and because of this, Mr. Hoffman and I had to appear in court a couple of times. Both times, Mr. Hoffman was incredible enough to travel over an hour from Rhode Island to Massachusetts where my case was being heard, and both times he wasn’t just punctual; he was early. I’ve heard horror stories of people waiting for their lawyers to show up for hours, and I’ve even heard some where the lawyer doesn’t show at all. Rest assured, Gregory Hoffman will show and he will be there on time, if not early.
Mr. Hoffman, himself, was quite professional. In court he was well dressed, articulate, calm, confident, and when it came to knowing the “rules of the game”, as they pertained to Massachusetts law, he was very well versed. He made sure that in the weeks leading up to the court date he and I were both thoroughly equipped with all the documentation we needed to aid us in emerging victorious.
What really speaks to the professionalism of any lawyer, though, is what hopes and dreams they try and sell you about your case. Please be aware that any good lawyer, will not attempt to sell you a single one. A good lawyer will not give you any false hope, nor make any promises nor guarantees as to the outcome of your case, and Gregory Hoffman was up front about this with me right from the start. He also didn’t compare my case with any other, either. He treated my case as its own unique entity and that’s exactly what I was looking for in representation.
Mr. Hoffman was also very compassionate and understanding when it came to me and the details of my case. Again, I’ve heard horror stories where lawyers will not walk through things with their clients because they don’t care, don’t have the time, or both. Once again, rest assured that Gregory Hoffman has a heart and actually cares about his clients. He was always readily available to answer any and all questions I had, he explained things clearly so that I understood, and he even made time after the second hearing to talk to me and give his opinion on my then situation, which I appreciated and valued very much.
The Court’s decision after the second hearing did, indeed, result in victory for us. Again, this review is not to guarantee a win should you hire Gregory Hoffman, but my opinion based on my personal experience is; if you do hire Mr. Hoffman, your chances of coming out on top and satisfied with your outcome are pretty high. ;)

I am a retired attorney myself, now seeking an attorney to help with a defective mesh implant I had years ago. I called between 10 and 20 firms claiming to be “experts” in hernia mesh claims. I received a return call from every single firm EXCEPT DAVID’s from someone at a call center screening for valid mesh cases who followed an apparent script they had been given. The screeners had no apparent legal or medical experience and they certainly weren’t attorneys. They did not understand any medical procedures, especially if not listed on their script so I found myself explaining medical processes to them. In fact, because my situation is somewhat unusual and I couldn’t honestly say “yes” in response to one of the screener questions but rather need to explain my answer to someone who understood the medical and legal processes, I was told by several screeners (with no legal or medical training or experience) that I did not have a claim and their lawyer “couldn’t help me.” The majority of the firms did in fact accept my claim and agreed to represent me after a several day process of lawyer review, but David LISTENED TO ME on my initial call, understood exactly what my medical situation was and took it upon himself to represent me in conjunction with another attorney he asked to contact me directly.
David is extremely knowledgeable and he listens and he helps clients. From now on, I will always call David first and not waste hours and hours talking to screeners and non-legal, non-medical call center employees.

My Electrical Contracting Company was owed a lot of money from an out of state General Contractor.
Thru the customer defaulting on the payment and then shut down because of covid I was not paid for my services.
James was able to negotiate a deal with the General Contractor and set up a payment plan to recover my past due invoices.
I am sure without his services it would not have turned out so well.
I should have hired him right away instead of waiting.

For a time I was a legal assistant, so i have a fairly good sense when it comes to telling the difference between a great, mediocre, and lousy attorney. Derek Larwick is one of the best I have come across. He'll evaluate your case and give you an honest answer as to whether or not it would be prudent to move forward. No BS, no "ambulance chaser" mentality, just a straightforward, knowledgeable dude. His staff is great as well-- very responsive and sweet. My feelings about him were validated the day I walked into his office and saw what looked like a florists' shop more than an attorney's office. Andy's legal advice, representation, time, dedication and results are the only positive to come out of my criminal matter. I was facing some serious charges and Andy helped me to help me achieve a much better result. He stuck with me every single step of the way, he always followed up with me when he said he would, and was 100% correct every time he gave me his opinion and he was always honest in his assessment (even when at times it wasnt what what I wanted to hear). I was in an accident where I was rear ended in May of 2018 I knew I was hurt because of the impact to my body. I wanted to talk to someone who was aggressive in handling accident cases. I called Winters & Yonker and got connected to Christopher Smith we set an appointment for him to come and meet with me, we discuss the matter without judgement. After explaining the legalities of the matter we were quite honest with each other he took the case and set me up with referrals to see Therapist and Chiropractor. When they weren't working out for me he changed them in my best interest. I later met his staff Susie Mattos, that girl is Amazon Fierce! she took the bull by the horn and made things happen, where there was delays in getting my vehicle fixed Susie with her no-nonsense approached got my vehicle fixed with a Rental in hand (speedily) then when the Insurance Company wanted me to furnished all kinds of extra paperwork she would say don't worry I'll take care of that. Then when I thought the case would take a long time I got a call one Monday morning from my Lawyer Chris, he asked me how I was doing then he said, you don't have to look for anymore paperwork your case is settled that was the best news!
I went to the office about a week later and I asked Susie what happened? how did you get them to change their minds so quickly she said it was no brained I told them your client hit my client. You pay. Everything was handled so professionally from the Meds to the Feds that girl rock!

I would like to state that if you need a lawyer Rick Morefield is the way to go. He worked with my family in the loss of my daughter. He was so compassionate and understanding and such a very hard worker.
Our case lasted over 7 years due to covid and he did not once give up on us even though he was not getting paid for all of the work that he was putting in for us. He came up with all kinds of strategies to win our case.

There is so much that I can say about Rick and his team but nothing would express my gratitude level towards them. Rick is so caring and intelligent. Set expectations from day one as the process can be cumbersome as the time lines can range depending on which officer is assigned to our case. Checking in to let us know timelines as they changed as to manage expectations.

He has been my Work Comp. attorney since 2009-2010 and worked on my case diligently to get to arbitration in order to keep my medical rights open (after sustaining a severe arm injury and subsequent surgeries beginning in 2005.) Since arbitration, there have been a handful of times over the years where I have needed additional help and support in getting the continued and subsequent medical care I need and to which I am entitled. He has and continues to be nothing but extremely kind, patient, helpful and caring. I broke my ankle in December of 2013 eleven months after having knee replacement surgery. It was, fortunately, the other leg, but it was a bad break, in 2 areas, requiring surgery, hospitalization and a long recovery (14 weeks non weight bearing). It was awful, but the shining light in the whole ordeal was my lawyer, Ron Gluck who took care of everything from start to finish. It was clearly a case where the fault was the restaurant's where I had fallen. Ron negotiated with their insurance company on my behalf and I believe got the very best settlement for me without ever losing or compromising his integrity or mine. I felt like I was in excellent hands from the very beginning of the ordeal. It never went to court as Ron was determined to have the right thing happen in a timely way and not have this dragged out forever with me waiting for the monies he believed I should receive. I knew I was with a quality law firm...he had been recommended by more than one person and I am very glad I never looked any further.
This is not something anyone wants to have happen, but when it does, it is a great feeling to know that there are lawyers you can trust to behave in admirable ways and to work to get deserved compensation.
