I was in an accident involving a rental car and the driver provided the wrong information. Michael Royer Law was able to track down the driver and handled the case super efficiently. Within less than a week I was receiving a rental and beginning therapy for my injuries. The group was able to get me an excellent payout, which was a lot more than was originally offered by the insurance. Cesia was so helpful and efficient, and always kept me updated on the case as necessary. The handling of this case was done super professional and efficiently, and I will definitely be using Michael Royer Law for all my future cases.

I usually don't write reviews. But Michael Royer and staff were more than outstanding and need to be congratulated. I was in a major rear end car accident which caused severe pain on my spine and a concussion. I was out of work for months. I lost my job because of it. Michael was encouraging and referred me to clinical treatment. He and staff worked so hard on my case! they got a superb settlement. I was able to all of my outstanding debts incurred during my time off, medical bills, credit cards used, and compensation for future expenses. I was so relieved to have them finally paid off. Michael was tireless in working on my case and ALWAYS updated me on the status of my case. He even brought in an associate attorney Cesia Alvarez to assist.

Martin Shellist is an absolutely brilliant lawyer in many levels. I had been involved in lengthy and drawn out lawsuit that looked like it would never end and was financially debilitating and caused enormous levels of stress. After over two years, we brought Marty in and within a matter of weeks the suit was wrapped up. He looks at things from every angle. He does not allow manipulation and will call out whomever needs to be called out. He knows the law and how it works. I hired Martin to settle a rather complicated divorce from my previous company. Like any divorce, there were issues that needed to be negotiated. Martin was on top of it all. He was super sharp and most importantly took the time to understand all the issues, the players and the priorities. He set the gameplan and executed it so well.

I got hurt when a piece of machinery fell on me at a jobsite in the city. After spending 7 days in the ICU and 3 surgeries over the next year, I was devastated. Tino filed a lawsuit and motions against the other companies and the Court ruled in nylon favor. Thank god my retirement is now taken care of because I can't go back to construction work.

In May if 2019, I was in a car accident where I was T-boned by someone who ran a stop sign. I was referred to Brian by a close friend and began the process of filing a complaint against the opposing insurance company for the horrendously low settlement offer I received from them.
Coming into this case, I was naive and unaware of the legal processes involved in such an endeavor. I thought, “Well the driver admitted fault, the damage is recorded, this will be easy”. I had absolutely no idea that my accident would have become such a battle to receive money lost. And that battle was fought tooth and nail by Brian and his team for me.
We were in the middle of this process when the pandemic hit, which added another layer of complications and delays to everything. It took almost 3 years to get to the end of this settlement.
Brian and Jenna, whom I worked with the most personally, were kind and patient with my unending questions, compassionate with my frequent emotional meltdowns, and kept me in the loop with my case regularly, knowing how much stress it was bringing me in my personal life, I didn’t feel in the dark. Brian had even come in on his day off just to meet with me and hear me cry about how unfair everything was. That’s a patient man. He wasn’t scared to tell me the truth of the arduous process we were in, even if I didn’t want to accept it, something I appreciated a lot.
Anytime I had to come into the office, I was met warmly by Jenna, who always remembered me and my case. It never felt like a stuffy or cold lawyers office. I even met another individual who worked on my case behind the scenes that I was unaware of, he was very kind and happy to meet me, which made me feel that much more secure knowing Brian’s team was truly invested in my case.
I never felt like I was just another number or just a client. I felt like Brian and Jenna genuinely cared about me as a person, they were truly fighting for me and my case. And to be quite candid, I believe they gave me more time and effort than they ever got compensated for after everything was said and done. But that didn’t stop them from treating me like family. Brian never stopped fighting for me even when we knew I wasn’t going to receive what we hoped I would.
I have learned through this process, the system is absolutely flawed, ugly, unfair, and will make you insane. That is just the truth. I was a little fish in an ocean of sharks. The system isn’t set up for us. You ***need*** someone like Brian, like Jenna, who are aware of those flaws, and are still willing to go in and fight an uphill battle for you, which is exactly what they did for me.

I was embarassed and ashamed of my dui arrest and Mike made me feel like a real person who had just made a mistake. I was initially referred to Paragon Law Firm by a friend after I was involved in a traumatizing car accident. It didn’t look that bad, but it really messed up my life. My wife & I were taking her car into the Ford Dealer in Issaquah for its 2nd service. It was a 2017 Escape with just less than 5,000 miles on it. As we made a left turn on a green arrow at the intersection near the dealership we were T-boned in the intersection right on the front passenger door where my wife was seated. We never saw or heard anything until we were hit by a women who ran her red light. My wife had it be cut out of the car and was taken Overlake Hospital with cracked rib and severe bruising all along the right side of her body. The car was totaled and it took my wife about 6 months to fully recover.
After working with our insurance company for a month it became clear to us that the other insurance company representing the driver who hit us was not going to settle this to our satisfaction. I began my search for a law firm who I felt comfortable with and decided on Weier Law. We were contacted by Theresa Buchner who became the attorney who represented us. We dealt with many great people in the office who did all the preliminary info gathering for Theresa. This type of claim required a lot of patience as it is a long process to gather all the info needed before we could even begin to settle our claim with the insurance company. Once Theresa started the negotiations it took a while of her going back and forth with the insurance company to even get close to a settlement. We finally had to file a law suit in order to get the insurance company to get serious with their offering to settle our case. Theresa was very persistent with her negotiations and we finally reached a number that we were willing to accept that would adequately compensate us for all of the damage done by the woman who carelessly caused our accident. Hopefully we will never need Theresa Buchner’s services again but I would not hesitate to hire her again or recommend her and Weier Law to any of my friends and family.

Dan York was successful at quashing a restraining order against me and replacing it with one that protected me and my child. Mike Hupy has been an attorney for myself or my family in several issues for over the last decade. When I was hit while driving my motorcycle near his Milwaukee office, his investigator was there ensuring my safety before police arrived, getting photos of the scene, and helping me to move my wrecked bike out of traffic while we waited for the wrecker. Then he took me to my wife, and made sure I got a ride to the hospital for appropriate care. He doesn't go to this extreme for every incident, but it exemplifies the kind of car he gives to see that each and every case gets handled in the best interest of his clients. Mike is the kind of man who sees to it that there is a foundation to protect the settlement and long term interests of a client who was left with limited ability to care for himself.
Mike and I share similar beliefs. From our first meeting Doug not only addressed the financial recovery aspect of the case but also allowed me to explain the emotions that I was dealing with as a result of unfair treatment by my employer of 30 years. In doing so he kept me on track and focused on the facts of the case. I am making this review because I want everyone looking for an attorneys support to stop and call Dan. I’ve known Dan for about 7 years I want to say. I’m 4 years from 30. I was referred by my sister who was referred by everyone else in the dupage area that she knows who’ve had from traffic violations, dui to so much more.

I fell victim to a debt settlement company. I brought my damaged finances and credit to Ron. I was devastated I took pride in my credit and the only way out of the mess was bankruptcy. I was terminated by my employer and I thought I had a case. I was either ignored or turned away because of "conflicts of interest." Russell came by way of a referral from a Labor Rights website and I am so grateful. He really looked into my case and listened to me. When Russ believes in something, he's passionate about it.
