Michael was my second attorney with a custody case my case lasted almost 2 years and was probably one of the worst experiences of my life. I did a lot of research to look for an attorney when my current one was not representing me And my daughter, the way I sold an attorney should. I consulted with Michael after reading reviews and hired him after the initial consultation. I will say Michael is very straightforward. He will tell you exactly how it is with no sugarcoating. He will probably make you mad because he pissed me off many many times but it was because he knows what he is talking about and he either, wanted to prepare me for what was coming or he knew the direction that I was going to was going to lead to a fail in my case. I was facing pretty much my daughters dad getting 50-50 custody with me and everything split down the middle that was looking at the best outcome and to me and my daughter that would be devastating. My daughters, dad and his attorney made me look like a monster, a dramatic, crazy monster. It was a horrible two years of him, badgering me, and trying to gaslight me in word, twisting and threats but somehow I look like the reasonable one and really thought that it was a possibility I could lose custody of my daughter ended up going to a trial that lasted a day and a half and end up I got full custody. I got full medical he does have visitations not 50% but not the one day week every other weekend. I am very happy with the outcome, my daughter‘s dad and his attorney whole case was how horrible , I am or Michael focused his whole case on what was best for my daughter what would be the best for her? Michael put my daughters interest, happiness, well-being and we won the case. I am very great full for Micheal and his staff for not only helping me through this difficult time and working hard to get me a good outcome, but for putting up with me for two years, I am not the easiest person to deal with I can be very dramatic, especially when it comes to my child. I really wouldn’t say that I had a downside to my experience with Michael and his team except maybe sometimes his staff would not respond to emails or phone calls as quickly as I would have liked them too, but I’m not the only client I Know that. For the trial, I feel like Michael prepared me very well. I thought he argued his case extremely well and the outcome shows that so if you were looking for custody divorce, any kind of family law I highly recommend Michael

Rebecca got me through a really hard divorce a few years ago. She was kind and patient with me while also being very attentive. My husband was caught with distributing drugs and was facing a mandatory of 24 months in jail. We have two little girls and I automatically assumed my life would turn upside down. I contacted my uncle who hired Ben Datika in the past for his sons case. Long story short Ben Datika comforted me and promised me that he will do his best on my husbands case. It is very hard for us financially and I explained this along with our other family issues to Ben and he went above and beyond trying to calm me down and work out a payment plan with me. Julie was amazing! When I first contacted her office I was extremely nervous, but the front desk was very kind and receptive. I had been through a rough divorce prior, now changing my parenting plan I assumed it would be a huge challenge. Julie and I met shortly after my initial call, she was very detailed and thorough during our meeting, we discussed EVERYTHING. There were a few items that would be a challenge but she was open and honest about it. Julie did not discourage my desire to pursue the challenging aspects, she was just exceptionally realistic but agreeable of my requests.
There were no issues with communication, it was direct and concise. All emails were answered promptly, all phone calls were returned same business day.

I recently found myself in the middle of a "gray" divorce. 70 years old, married for 13 years to a woman that turned on me. I decided to represent myself in court, defending my pension, Social Security, health care, non marital assets, bank accounts and such. Karen's name was highly recommended by a close friend. A quick email to her office and I scheduled a consultation.
I'm a good judge of people and immediately knew she was the person I wanted representing me. No nonsense or small talk. Straight to the point. Professional and knows the law. I knew she had my back.

WOW! I just don’t have the words to express how grateful I am that Attorney Marcus Sermons agreed to take on the lawsuits brought against me as the executor of my brother’s estate. I live in NH and my brother lived in Florida. Unfortunately, my brother’s biological and estranged child flew into Florida within 24 hrs of his death believing she was entitled to everything… regardless of his will and final wishes. Her deceitful and aggressive actions only added more sadness and trauma to the loss of my brother.
I could say Attorney Sermons gave me 110% or 150% or 200% … but it was more than that.

Debbie provided excellent representation from beginning to end in the defense against charges of manufacturing and delivery of methamphetamine, that I received in Canton, MI, The charges are felonies that carry a mandatory 10-20 year prison sentence. Debbie was a super star in challenging if there was probable cause to pull me over and nearly got the charges dismissed before the case left Canton District Court for the 3rd Circuit Court of Wayne County. Debbie was able to get the felony charge of manufacturing and delivery dismissed and replaced with a misdemeanor charge of use of methamphetamine by using her expertise and knowledge of criminal law, that she has developed over her years of practice. I highly recommend the retention of Debbie Schlussel to represent you in the defense of any criminal charges! She will grind and out work the prosecution if necessary! My elderly father and I met with Mr. Crouse to discuss asset protection. We found out early in our consultation that Mr. Crouse would not be able to help us going forward, because my father lives out of state, and he would need an attorney from his state to draw up the trust.
However, Mr. Crouse still spent over an hour with us, educating us about our options. He explained everything in a way that we could comprehend. He answered all of our questions and really made sure we understood. He could have easily sent us home, but didn’t!

When my daughter was a the start of her divorce proceeding, she asked if I knew any lawyer in the field. I spoke with a former colleague, a family lawyer who was about to retire, and she whole-heartedly recommended " a great younger lawyer" she had worked with -- Hayden.
