I was discouraged to go back to Court to fight for my kids' custody because they were in their late teens. Other attorneys told me that the judge would most likely let them live with their "preferred parent", due to their ages. Ashley understood that this case was not a simple custody dispute; it was parental alienation and it was hurting my kids. I was involved in a situation where a family member was harassing and stalking me incessantly, and the police would not act on removing her from our property unless I had a TPO. Ashley's office was able to jump on the case quickly and was able to secure an emergency TPO and 12-month TPO following multiple incidents. Unfortunately, the harassment and stalking did not stop there, but the situation became complicated when the perpetrator's physical location was unknown. Despite that, Ashley and her team supported us as we approached out renewal of the TPO extension, and Ashley was able to help us secure a permanent protection order to protect myself and my family from further harassment and stalking.

Divorce is a very difficult time in ones life. Janice was referred to me and I'm so happy I contacted her. My divorce was difficult in that my ex. is very controlling (Narcissist) and wanted to play mind games. He stalled at every stage. Spencer and Liz (paralegal) are a fantastic team. I'm understating their importance to each other. I'm a firm believer they compliment each other very well.
Spencer was hired as a guardian ad litem. The recommendation came from the attorney of my son's mother to use him to represent my son. So I owe him a huge thank you. For those who may be unfamiliar, the purpose of a guardian ad litem is to represent the minor's best interest. Spencer was detailed and thorough. He met with my son on multiple occasions. He spoke with additional professionals who offered perspective. A recommendation wasn't rendered until Spencer felt he had as many answers to the questions as he needed before making a decision. I'm grateful and appreciative he choose to be thorough and exhaustive in the process.
Fast forward to the final result, my son is now in my custody.

If you don’t hire Robin, well you already lost your case. She and her team are the exception when it comes to dealing with extremely complex cases. Tabitha Brincat and her entire team did a phenomenal job for my stressful divorce/custody case. We worked together for 10 months and throughout the entire time I had nothing but the absolute best care! My sister and I engaged Jacqueline in January to represent us in a CPS investigation after my 6 year old niece was placed under a 30-day safety plan while my sister underwent alcohol detox and therapy. This was our first interaction with CPS. We used employer-provided services rather than the onerous services demanded by CPS. CPS threatened numerous times to move my niece into foster care. They also threatened a legal motion to participate in their services. They even claimed that they didn't have to talk to a legal representative. We would never have been able to navigate this process without Jacqueline, who is an expert not only in the law, but in the ways that CPS will try to manipulate and threaten. Jacqueline made the case that CPS services and involvement were not needed beyond the 30 days. My niece returned home after 30 days, and as of 3 months later, CPS has taken no further action. Jacqueline will fight for you and execute a plan with the highest probability of success. She will navigate the maze of CPS that you can’t see. We are completely satisfied and highly recommend Jacqueline.

Dorchester County - It has been three and a half years since my divorce. My son is now five and a half years old and his father started coming around less than a year ago. He was non-existent for years.

I had the pleasure of being represented by Walter Schouten. Ironically, he was referred to me by an attorney that I consulted with. I was told to call Walter because he is very knowledgeable and he's an outstanding trial lawyer. Walter took on my case and he was assisted by an amazing paralegal in Vanessa Enciso. This dynamic duo believed that they could help my situation in securing me a new trial for a custody case. They went to work immediately. This was 2 weeks after I lost at trial while being represented by a different firm.
Long story long...Walter was able to get me a new trial, and he was able to get the judge to change her previous ruling. I am now the custodial parent of my 7 year old son.
I have to admit that even if I wasn't awarded custodial rights, I was more than satisfied with the representation and would have been able to live with the ruling a lot easier. Knowing that I was being properly represented was huge for me. Especially since the previous firm I hired for this case was absolutely terrible.

Erica was extremely helpful with helping me get my divorce wrapped up and her pricing was reasonable. Do not under any circumstances hire Jon Parchman. He is worthless and a liar. He refuses to answere emails, texts, or phone calls and does nothing than the absolute bare minimum to handle your case. He completely screwed me over after paying him $8000 and refusing to talk to me or even meet with me before trial dates. He passed me off to another attorney he works with and then they both used Covid as an excuse to never leave their houses or take any mettings. Erica was a breath of fresh air and was always available within a reasonable time frame to answer any and all of my questions. I just wish I had know about her from the start and not wasted all that money on that worthless scumbag Jon Parchman who only made my situation worse. After doing some more research online it looks like that is how this lazy, lying POS always does business.

I hired Danielle just over five years ago. When I met with Danielle, I just knew she was the absolute best fit for me. There is a very simple reason why Danielle is so well-liked: she is a talented and outstanding attorney who works for her clients as if they were her personal friend or family member. I am so thankful that I chose Jillian to represent me in my custody case. 18 months after my divorce was settled, I was laid off. When I found work again, I took a significant pay cut, making it impossible to pay my original maintenance amount. Then my ex petitioned to relocate cross-country with our kids, while demanding I continue to pay well more than I could now afford. I consulted multiple lawyers, expressing my desire to oppose the relocation and request a decrease in support payment. Several said no immediately, one felt it would be an “easy win,” and one charged a fee just to meet with their “intake specialist.” In contrast, Scott was patient, empathetic, and balanced. He gave me a very candid and practical assessment of my situation, and his opinion on my chances to win.
After we mutually agreed to go forward, he was responsive, made himself available even when my schedule wasn’t convenient, and was very collaborative. When mediation failed, he demonstrated his intellect and deep knowledge of the law in court. My ex’s lawyer focused his efforts on attacking my character. We could have done the same, but Scott insisted we take the high-road instead. That, combined with the case law he cited, his handling of witnesses (mine and hers), and his sincere and respectful demeanor led the court to side in my favor on each motion, as well as their subsequent motions for reconsideration. I consider myself lucky to have found Scott. I hope I never have to go through this again, but if I do, it will be with him.

My ex-wife filed for divorce a year ago and her lawyer filed a restraining order against me immediately before a visit to see my son, despite the fact I did not reside in the state, and having no specific previous conflict that merited such an action. I had a free consultation with Scott who was very good at listening and sympathetic, and I decided to retain his services. He acted quickly to negotiate the withdrawal of the petition for a restraining order. Subsequently, a fair parenting plan was negotiated, which allowed me to see my son and contact him regularly while out of state, which was much better than the situation prior to my ex-wife filing for divorce, which depended on her whims. Child support was a concern, as my wife wanted an unreasonable amount of money, far beyond what I could afford. Scott was right in his interpretation of the facts and when he went to court the Commissioner favored his arguments, and the terms settled were fair. He was right on and did not waiver, which reflects his knowledge and many years of experience. Scott was always very aware of my concerns about costs, and he did initially give a very accurate prediction of final cost. In addition, he was always calm, polite, thoughtful, and empathetic with me, he built a rapport with my ex-wife's lawyer to negotiate, while being resolute in defending my interests. Getting divorced with Scott's representation was far less stressful than it might have been with another attorney.

I contacted Jack to ask for help with my Support Modification. After talking through the details and asks of the petition, Jack laid out the process in front of me to make sure I was prepared for all outcomes. The entire team quickly jumped on some immediate needs and scheduling to make sure I had the right support to put my best case in front of the judge. We had several hurdles to deal with as well as an impending trial date, but I felt like the entire team rallied around me to get me prepared. Josh and I worked together over several sessions to create a fair strategy and proactively address the key issues. In what was supposed to be my trial date, Josh quickly jumped on an issue that perhaps the judge had not reviewed key submissions and requested a continuance to make sure everything was considered. That instinct proved to be correct as the judge had not reviewed everything and while that pushed a decision out, it was the right move.
