This review is a long time coming. I've worked with and relied on Shannon on three separate occasions over custody disputes of my eldest daughter. On all three occasions she was able to improve my situation and on two of those occasions where my situation was improved, I was on defense where I was the one that got served papers.
I believe that Shannon's prowess as an attorney actually comes from her compassion for her clients. She really does take the time to listen to and understand the unique situations that each case brings and understand and empathize with the situation. She gives her best because she knows what is on the line. She cares for her clients because she takes the time to understand them and their situation.
I owe Shannon a debt that I can never repay, because I owe her my relationship with my daughter.

We had our child via surrogate; however, during the height of covid the number of guests in the hospital was limited. Our gestational carrier agreement was in another state and our child was birth in TX. The hospital couldn't do anything to help us and the birth mother was listed as the mother on the birth certificate. To have this change to my name was a challenge. Shannon fought tooth and nail with the judge. She didn't give up on us. She listened and even asked her colleagues for best approach. She looked for all solutions till we won. I would 100% recommend her firm with no questions asked.

I had consulted with Miss Bernier or legal advice on a divorce. My divorce was not normal by any means. I had to do with a high profile case in twined with my divorce. Because of that, it made it a very lengthy and expensive battle. Mrs. Vernier and her co-council were absolutely amazing. Everyone was willing to do everything they could to help me win my case. On a personal note, she would do everything she could to keep me saying and help me on the emotional side of the case. It was very long and drawn out, but in the end, things ended up in my favor. Vernier and all of her staff have become more like family. It was so relieving having Raj handle my divorce. Two days after I told my ex I wanted a divorce she went into a court and filed a protection order, kicked me out of the house, and proceeded to hold my dogs hostage. Raj got the protection order dropped and helped reach a settlement outside of court that I feel was fair. My ex was very aggressive and vindictive, but Raj completely dismantled her in court and helped me have a successful divorce.
If you're going to be sitting in front of a judge, you can't afford not to have Raj on your side!

Divorce was not something I wanted. Of course, nothing I ever hoped or planned for. I was hurt, sad and scared of what was to come. And now I had to take the huge task of finding the best divorce attorney in Williamson County. When it was time, I took the recommendation of meeting Will Holloway from one of my dearest friends. Thank goodness she was on point.
I was very direct and organized with Will and he never once let me down. His communication skills were impeccable and timely. His willingness to get what I wanted done in my time frame was met at every way. I never doubted any information or advice he gave me. I always felt he had my best interests at hand with the utmost sincerity and efficiency.
At our final meeting, after the divorce was finalized, Will gave me his final “talk” and it was what I describe as a “pep talk”. His words were kind and insightful. I was referred to Neil specifically because he is skilled in complex divorce litigation. My divorce case was lengthy, difficult, often frightening, and highly toxic. You don't want just any divorce attorney for such a case. Neil is tough when he needs to be, but in my case he also worked for the best interests of my children and made every effort to reduce conflict when he could. He's not simply an "attack dog" out to "win" your case. (So often, when that's the case, it's the children who lose.) I have nothing but good things to say about Mr. Tanaka. My wife and I have never been sued before so this was definitely a new experience. Mr. Tanaka is the best family attorney that I have worked with. I have seen him multiple times over the past three years for legal advice and recently retained him to handle my custody case. Marci went beyond my expectation. She worked diligently (despite the COVID slow down in the courts) and with great compassion, in getting a resolution in my conservatorship of two children. Her hard work in getting the necessary paperwork, including serving the absentee parents, who proved difficult to locate, living separately in two states. I had previously hired another attorney back in 2016, but due to the uncooperativeness of the other party's attorney and my attorney's own personal demons, my case was dragged out for two years with zero progress. Then, I met Spencer back in April 2018. I explained to him the backstory of my case as it currently stood. My case was not an overly complicated case at all, as I was simply being denied my access for visitation. He made no promises, but did tell me that I did have good merit for a modification of the parent-child relationship, which is what I believed to be the case prior to meeting with him. If I'm not mistaken, the final trial in my case had been reset a total of 4 times over the course of my case before we officially had trial. After all these years, dating back from 2014 - 2022 (8 years), my case was so loaded with evidence, it was actually planned to have trial over the course of 2 days. Luckily, we were able to finish trial in 1 single day. While Spencer does represent both mothers and fathers, Spencer has a real passion for representing fathers and is an advocate for fathers' equal rights, this is one of the reasons I was drawn to hire Spencer. I knew that I did not make a mistake when choosing who I wanted in my corner. For those that think that simply having an attorney is the be-all and end-all, you couldn't be more wrong. You should be on top of your case just as much as your attorney is. Your case is as good as you make it out to be, an attorney can only do so much. I went to trial thinking that my case could go one of two ways. I figured in the best case scenario, I would be awarded 50/50 custody, worst case scenario, nothing would change (which is what is typically expected in the District Court I was in since the judge is traditional and old fashioned - which means "pro-mom"). To my surprise, the judge awarded me primary custody with everything additional that I asked for in my pleadings (effective 04/11/2022). Spencer is a fantastic attorney who actually gets the job done and takes pride in his work! There are many attorneys that practice Family Law, but in my opinion, I wouldn't consider most of them to be good "trial attorneys", whereas Spencer knows all of the ins-and-outs of trial, he knows what evidence should be presented and when, he knows exactly when to make an objection, and he can be extremely persuasive to not only the judge but the opposing party. I never had any issues with communicating with him or his office. I could not have asked for better representation! I know exactly who I will refer people to when a Family Law attorney is needed! I cannot speak any higher of Jeff Branch. He handled my unfortunate divorce for me and made it a smooth, way less stressed ordeal. I had originally hired a different attorney who did what most lawyers do, promise to help you, get your money, then put you on the back burner. After my wife's attorney walked on my attorney a few times with no fight I called and met with Mr. Branch. Let me just say, the tides turned quickly to a point where everything smoothed out and stayed fair. One of the most brutally honest people I know, Jeff always told me the truth and shot me straight. Right from the start with my case, he told me "no one will walk away with everything, but I promise you'll both walk away with what you can live with". He was so right, our divorce was fair and neither side felt cheated. The one thing I will say is Jeff Branch commands respect with his knowledge of the law and his winning attitude. From the moment he took over my case, it was like I had hired a Pit Bull to represent me. He watched over my case with great attention, communicated with me at every step, and literally changed the balance of the divorce from my wife and her attorney taking anything and everything they could to them doing more agreeing to Jeff's terms and submitting to what he told them they could have. His courtroom presence is very professional but very intimidating at the same time, with an air about himself as someone not to be pushed around.
