Autumn handled my divorce. She was fast and was able to solve some hard problems that I thought would make our divorce expensive. But she knew how our judge liked things and worked a lot with the attorney on the other side so there were no delays. I retained Maria's services to assist with the asset portion of my divorce after my previous attorney basically did nothing. Maria familiarized herself with my case immediately and took to the task. Without going extensively into my nightmare case here's the short version: my ex used any and every tactic and dirty dealings to avoid compliance with my court order to sell our home, pay monies, return my vehicle and provide documentation. Regina was my saving grace. I thought I could handle on my own what was supposed to be an "uncontested" case. Long story, short, the case was contested and I ended up being strung along, but I was just not strong enough to manage the situation. Things only escalated and were getting worse after each interaction. I finally gained enough confidence to do what I should have done in the first place - hire a skilled attorney who was not afraid to go the distance if it were necessary. I was surprised at how quickly things got resolved after Regina took over and laid out the path necessary if the case were to go to trial. I just wish I would have hired her sooner. I have spent almost 7 years embroiled in a multitude of difficult situations with my ex-husband. During this time I have used the services of 5 attorneys. My most recent situation was the most challenging, and required an insightful and readily-available attorney. While I had used the services of Rose Law Group before, I had never used the services of Mr. Kaine Fisher. Initially, on a weekend, I sent Mr. Fisher a plethora of emails relating to the past 7 years of divorce issues. Much to my surprise, by Sunday, Mr. Fisher had answered my emails. He was there for me on an emergency basis (without an initial meeting). At that moment, I finally had some semblance of peace in navigating the legal waters ahead. During the ensuing 8 months, my child and I endured many situations that could easily have erupted into law enforcement and legal nightmares. I contacted Guichard St. Surin just a few days before my hearing for a restraining order. I was nervous because the opposing party had a lawyer and being told how hard it was to get a restraining order. I presented my evidence to Guichard the morning of my hearing. He brilliantly put together and addressed the court with my case that had the opposing party running to offer us a settlement for a 1 year restraining order. Guichard discussed it with me and knew we could go all way and get a permanent restraining order so we declined the offer. In the end the judge came to a decision and granted us a permanent restraining order. Where do I start? I hired Andrew 2 years ago for a divorce and he's been a godsend. I don't think I would've been able to get through my divorce without him. I will start by saying that your office exceeded my already high expectations, performance-wise and outcome-wise. You have delivered exceptional results, and I am still amazed with them every day.
After interviewing 9 attorneys over 12 months, I went to see Gregg who straightforwardly explained the process and stressed on the fact that my children’s best interest is of more importance to him than all other parties involved. He earned my trust from the beginning.
Throughout the process that lasted 11 months, Gregg and Samantha have been attentive to every detail, focused and proactive in every move and extremely diligent.

My divorce wasnt a mutual one, so I had to hire an attorney post my ex had already looked around the part of town I live in. It was a blessing in disguise as I traveled farther away to find Deshon. I knew she would be perfect for me in this hard time in life in just one meeting. It wasnt only for her compassion but her advise. She didnt tell me what I wanted to hear but what I should hear.
Its always expensive to go through attorneys but if you employ one who is smart you get most out of your money. Her entire team is smart and paid a lot of attention to detail. It sometimes is hard to find time with Deshon but you will always get the right answer. I truly appreciated working with her entire team Staci, Sara, Natalie, Jessica, Lisa etc.
It took over an year to get the final judgement and all settlement with custody etc. and I have no complaints. I was really impressed with Deshon at the hearing, she was against another 10 rated lawyer in the town and the opponent was totally out of her element and Deshon was smart, poised and eloquent in her part of defense. Amanda Love... she's the best! Her last name matches who she is. She's tough with a dash of love for her clients. She's compassionate, organized, experienced, and very responsive to your needs. I wish there were more stars to give Amanda. She is by far the best attorney in California!!! What should have been a simple divorce turned into a year and a half long nightmare. I live in Virginia and was having to fight a divorce all the way in California. I was so scared not being able to meet with my new attorney face to face and only had 30 days to find someone after I was served. I found Amanda within a few days of searching and sent her an email letting her know my situation. That same day she e-mailed me back. Ed and his team have demonstrated that they are the dominate legal council in the Peoria area. Ed can be trusted to deliver and defend you for the most difficult cases. My ex wife filed a HIPPA case against my wife to gain access to medical records to ecploit my wife and restrict parenting time and Ed worked closely with us to settle outside of court. Friday before the hearing my ex wife declined any settlement and the hearing was set for Monday. My ex wife is what people call “helicopter mom.” She would not let me see my daughter. She accused me of ridiculous thigs and asked for 100% of any decision-making because I cannot be trusted. Out of pure revenge my ex filed fraudulent chargers against me accusing of child abuse. DCFS became involved. This was a nightmare. Before I hired Kozlov, I consulted with at least three other lawyers. Kozlov showed a good knowledge of the law and understanding of the procedure. It was very important to me to know everything that was going on in court and Kozlov kept me informed every step of the way. This hell is over and I have my child back. He is not cheap but Kozlov chargers only for actual work. Not BS chargers like travel time. He keeps his word. If you work with him he will get you the result.

I posted a question regarding divorce proceedings that I am currently involved with and Ms. Drake was kind enough to answer me accordingly. I ended up messaging her and we began to communicate so I took the liberty of regurgitating my situation in detail regarding how I was mistreated by the Petition's Counsel.
She gave me solid advice and explained some differences in procedures from her jurisdiction versus mine. She didn't seem to mind that I just dumped a years worth of legal situations in her ear as she kindly and politely replied to me without judgement. I have had quite a few interactions with male attorneys and not too many interactions with female attorneys. I'm not attempting to make this a male/female battle but I am finding that there is something much better with regard to female attorneys. Male attorneys don's seem to take the time to actually read or listen to what one writes or speaks and Ms. Drake definitely read and listened to me because she answered my questions directly and to the point with clear and concise responses. She practices in Jacksonville Florida and does not venture out very far from her county's jurisdiction. If she did, I would very much consider retaining her as my counsel due to her attentiveness itself. Besides her photo displays a very warm and kind smile.

I cannot express how grateful I am that I found Daria and her team. I was in the unfortunate scenario of unexpectedly being plunged into our broken family law system.
I interviewed a few attorneys and hired one from another firm (S-M&P). I quickly realized I had made a mistake, as the competence of that attorney was severely lacking and it was clear that they viewed me as an ATM. After a month of manufactured drama/crisis and thousands of dollars down the drain, I made the decision to change attorneys.
I was referred to The Wise Law Firm by a friend of a friend, and from the start, Daria exceeded the high expectations that I had coming in. She was very transparent about my realistic options and the most likely outcomes. She didn't try to push the more contentious options simply to drive up her billable hours. There was never a time when I felt like I was being 'nickel and dime'd into oblivion - their billables are very fair and accurate and I never had to question any line item on my statements.
Daria and her team had the goal of achieving the best outcome for my family and me, and I am confident that my case would not have had the favorable outcome that it did, had I stayed with the other attorney. Family law is an ugly place, and I can't imagine dealing with it day in and day out, but somehow Daria and Stephanie have found a way to insulate themselves from becoming cynical and jaded.
If you are reading reviews because Daria is your opposing counsel, I can say with confidence that Daria is as professional of an opponent as you will find. She is not manufacturing drama/conflict in an effort to drive up the billables and the duration of your case.
If you have already hired another attorney and are having doubts, I would highly suggest making a switch - it's not worth it to stay with an attorney that you don't have full confidence in - the figurative and literal costs are far too high.
TLDR: If you are looking for a family law attorney, I cannot recommend The Wise Law Firm enough.

In every event our family has encountered (including parenting plans, modifications, emergency custodial issues, multiple mediations, protection orders, guardian ad litems, all manner of temperaments from opposing counsels, new judges), Ms. Wise's counsel and advice has been spot on. She's not one to make promises, but she has a solid grasp of the legal systems in the area and can accurately guide your expectations and limitations.
