Joshua Bickman is the lawyer you want on your side plain and simple. Mr. Bickman is an experienced litigator who will fight for you tooth and nail. I must admit my situation looked grim and Mr. Bickman never once at any point in time led me to believe that everything was going to be sunshine and daisies. He was always very clear and concise in regards to the possible outcome of my divorce, good and bad, whether you wanted to hear about it or not, that is his job and he is very good at it. I came out of the divorce better than anyone expected and that is due to one person and one person only and that is Joshua Bickman.

She did a fantastic job with my divorce... she was able to talk with both of us and work out everything very quickly including the parenting plan for the girls... Debbie Harper is sweet and understanding as is her Paralegal Chris, I highly recommend her if you have a family divorce case... the only bad I would have yo say is they don't always answer the phones but they are good about getting back to you if you leave a voicemail. Thank you again Ladies I appreciate everything you both did for my family and I!

She takes sides she knew my abuser was stalking, harassing me and keeping my child from me. I addressed many of my concerns & she dismissed them however, she addressed the respondant and everything the respondent said was lies. This GAL had gotten my case continued as well. If you are assigned this GAL ask for another. She is so unprofessional.

If I could give 0 stars- I WOULD! Did NOT show up to court! Red flag #1 When Raimo was appointed to my child support case I spent the entire time leading up to my court date trying to reach her with no success. I tried everything. She DOES NOT respond or return emails, phone calls, millions of voicemails etc. Red flag #2 When I finally heard from her it was via a text message sent at midnight- which I find completely unprofessional. With my court date 4 days away, I was feeling desperate and helpless, so I responded immediately, but AGAIN got no response until 2 days before court. Red flag #3 When I finally spoke to her, I explained my case but she offered no sound advice or options for fighting the case. She seemed uninterested and claimed she was busy with “school.” This interaction left me feeling just as hopeless as before. Now at this point I should’ve known better and looked elsewhere for help, but she had dragged me and ignored me right up until the weekend before court so I had no time. Now here I am, waiting to see the judge, and she is nowhere to be found; Ignoring all my calls and texts. Long story short- SHE DID NOT EVEN SHOW UP TO COURT!! TWO DAYS LATER - she sends me a nonchalant text message saying- “Sorry I missed you. What happened in court?” She did not even have the decency to give me a call. Disgustingly unprofessional. I NEVER write reviews but this one was necessary!! This lady should have her license revoked! As a lawyer, clients put their trust in you and you are responsible for their well-being, freedom, representation in the legal system. I’m sorry but this lady is TRASH!

Jordan represents me in a contentious custody matter. The Delaware County court system is prejudicial to those without legal council. When it comes to the safety and welfare of the child it best to have great representation. Jordan has a good relationship with the hearing officer's, judges and lawyers. She is articulate, logical and passionate. These qualities are necessary when navigating the family court system. In my experience dealing with a obnoxious opposing council and a vengeful, narcissistic ex partner Jordan has no qualms about being cutthroat. Jordan has made my life easier with dealing with unnecessary litigation abuse. In my case I had to make stressful financial choices in order to have the best representation, Jordan was so kind and help me out financially and still preformed at her highest caliber. Throughout my two year custody battle the only thing I regret is not finding Jordan from the very beginning. If you are a loving, caring parent who is honest about themselves and your situation, wants what's best for your children, or is dealing with a difficult ex-partner this is the lawyer you need. In the Delaware County court system you will need a lawyer who isn't apart of the good ole boys club and can't be gaslit or manipulated. Go with Jordan she's your best bet.

Jordan has represented me for my custody battle and divorce. I had a very complicated and messy divorce. Jordan never left my side. She navigates the legal system with confidence and has a sense of authority that is unparalleled. 2016 my life was changed forever if I knew you can right reviews I would have done this sooner. I was introduced to Jordan by a friend after being arrested and my rights violated.i had all evidence to clear my name even a credible witness that could have clear my name. She looked at me and said “you got it all figured out”. Not telling me she doesn’t specialize in criminal cases or anything in that manner. Instead took at-least 3000 dollars of payment from me. She didn’t show evidence or allow my witness to speak at all she never even followed any of my directions as she worked for me my witness and the person who car I had both came to every court case and she did not mention them in court. My case was pushed all the way to pretrial with no effort in fighting my case. I tried to get a new attorney before my guilty plea they would not take my case on instead they informed her of it instead and she berated me in a telephone call afterwards. She gave me no option but to plead guilty when I told her I was innocent. When the judge ask am I sure I want to plead guilty which I didn’t she tapped me and said don’t say anything. I received a 6 month jail sentence 6 months house arrest 5 years probation and a felony guilty plea. Now I have fight to get a governor pardon which is slim to none. She ruined my life as I fight to recover from bad professional advice that at the time I didn’t know she is required to put me in the best position to win my case which she didn’t. I’m allow to post this anonymous but I want people to know my story I’m at peace but I will never forget what she done to me. Without a chance at a pardon my life Will always have financial burden because of my felony conviction. I wish I could sue for Negligence but she made sure I had all evidence destroyed even my evidence I gave her to fight my case.

My experience with the paralegal, Alexis was excellent. I did not feel Sara was as prepared as she could have been for the first court hearing, but I was generally satisfied with her services. However the clincher for me was receiving a late notice mid-month on services that were rendered only the week prior. My case was finishing up and I was waiting another week (until the end of the month when invoices had previously been generaled) to pay my final bill. Robin Edwards again sent the invoice as a late notice and then had the audacity to accuse me of arguing. Robin was rude and unprofessional. Unfortunately what had been a good experience turned sour.

Going through a divorce can be a lonely and alienating process even in the best of times. For me, it was just one of many difficult things I was dealing with simultaneously. If you are looking to spend your life savings via being nickeled and dined this is the attorney for you. Sara continually falsified documents made erroneous charges for services not rendered, and in the end left me with an uncial butnden that was unnecessary. Leach is her last name and if the money sucked out of you this is your attorney. Run people just runs

Diane was professional and courteous, and quite expensive. But she is worth it. She helped me keep my cool through the divorce process. Explained everything in detail and made herself available for many phone calls, which a normal person would try to limit. 😆 My only regret was being Pro Se in the begging of my divorce and not hiring her sooner. I may not have “won” in court, but she did help me mediate instead of going through a potentially expensive trial, which would have irreparably damaged my business. Thank you Diane, for all your help. I’ll definitely use your services again in the future.

Diane was absolutely outstanding from day one and gave me step by step what was going to happen and had a plan in case it didn’t go that way. Unprofessional. Don't waste your time. They made me wait two weeks for an appointment then cancelled at the last minute. Plenty of larger firms with more resources to choose from in Washington. You get what you pay for and this firm is cheap. Keep that in mind, that price comes at a cost like time wasted.

I am Rhonda’s actual client and have nothing but great things to say about her. I brought her on to my case in June 2020 in the midst of the pandemic and she was incredibly compassionate and empathetic with my situation. My ex was withholding financial information and after filing my own response and paperwork I realized very quickly that this situation would cause for more than just self representation. He dragged on our proceedings by stating “he didn’t know” on more than one occasion to the judge, filled out his own paperwork incorrectly, didn’t follow court procedures with serving paperwork to my attorney and has in general been very verbally abusive and accusatory in declarations presented to the court that were false and had no relevance to the case further dragging things along. All the while Rhonda has been encouraging and supportive and reminding me of what is actually important to getting things finished. She did not allow me to get caught up in the drama with my ex and instead helped me focus on what mattered most, my kids. She negotiated a very fair custody and visitation agreement that benefitted both parents equally, got us signed up with Our Family Wizard to communicate about the kids, recommended a book on how to interact with each other in our high conflict divorce and even negotiated our financial disagreements in a fair manner. The only real delay in our proceedings were due to Covid related court dates (2020/2021) and then lack of preparedness by my ex who was self represented. Divorce paperwork was filed by my ex in June 2019 and our first original court date wasn’t scheduled until March 2020 which was delayed by Covid until October 2020. CNV was completed in October 2020 and the only thing left were financials which took all of 2021 to get finalized at no fault of Rhonda’s. I am very satisfied and happy with her work and encourage you to give her a call to see if she is the right fit for you. Don’t be swayed by anonymous reviewers pretending to be her clients. She puts your kids first and that’s most important.

Micheal has been my attorney through a horrible shameful divorce and custody battle since 2012. After 5 long years, Micheal is still fighting the battles and the road blocks that my ex-wife keeps throwing our way. The father always seems to be considered "second class" with the court system which makes it hard to always get to the truth. Micheal will always make sure that your child's voice is heard to help fulfill your child's needs. We had 4 parent coordinators, 2 guardian alignments, therapists, and social services in place which has been extremely expensive and heartbreaking across the board. Micheal has waived my fees sometimes during all of these services because the expenses were out of control and I was unable to keep up. He always puts my sons needs and best interest first as he continues to support and help me fight this horrible battle. Micheal Spinato has gone beyond the call of duty during the last 5 years and I stand behind him 110% to stand up for my rights as a dad. I am sorry to say my experience was not good. At all. I did not feel like she was fighting for me and my children. She kept telling me that she was going to address the abuse my kids and I were dealing with but she never did. She cared more about money than helping us. I trusted her. I hope all that money you charged me for every call or piece of paper you needed was worth it because you did nothing to help or protect me and my kids! Do not recommend!

I hired this office for a very simple case regarding visitation and child support. I was told multiple times that the ease of the case would not allot for more money than the amount of my retainer agreement and that I would get a refund. I paid the retainer agreement in full. I supplied the supporting documentation including requesting previous records myself, weeks before the case. Somehow they still only filed my counter application a day before my court date. Court was ok, although I felt it could have been much shorter however the attorney didn’t do anything to stop the other party from rambling on and on. After court I received an email stating I’d hear from the legal assistant regarding my refund. Instead I received a bill for $2,000 extra dollars. I looked through the itemization, shocked but accepting I am no expert. The billed items charged hundreds of dollars for my inquiry with the office (before I even decided about being represented), phone calls that were only few minutes long where I was charged an hour or more (I matched to my phone records), emails that didn’t ever happen, record requests where I had supplied the records myself, and several other items that were entirely made up. I disputed the charges, providing my own records (like my phone bill and email record that in no way could have been fabricated), and was told that I didn’t understand how things worked. I offered to compromise and started doing my own research. It turned out this is a repeat issue with this office and now I have to file a formal dispute that will end up with me in court/mediation again. Be careful- I guarantee you’ll be overcharged if they think you can pay it.

Paula Menar is a very caring and very intelligent attorney. My case was very complex and Paula showed great caring and compassion through the process. I hired Andreas to be my matrimonial lawyer in the summer of 2020. At that time, I was entangled in an extremely difficult divorce. The past year I’ve spent 14,000$ in fees alone in Gustafsons office. The only thing he has helped us do is create more trouble for us to spend more money in his office. He will take advantage of your vulnerable situation. Do not rely on this man to hold your best interest dealing with criminal court. If I wanted a public defender they are nearly free. He has 0 respect for the people he works for. I’m not here saying this because I’m mad with him or because he lost a case this is the truth. I just fired him from my case that he was representing us on even thought Ive already paid him 6,000$ 2.5 months ago to represent me during this case. I have lost that money and hired another lawyer because we can’t trust him to do the job I hired him for. He played us like a fiddle from the beginning. Please take this advice and don’t let yourself get in the position we’ve allowed him to put us in. There were cases he won but not because he’s good, only because we had evidence contradicting these so-called victims police report. That’s not the point the point is he will TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU.

Katie was not prepared for any hearing. She did not prepare for the divorce hearing at all. I lost everything I put into my marriage. I cannot afford to get a place of my own and often have to sleep in a garage. Her forensic person was even worse. Completely unprofessional and not prepared. Stay away.

Robert Garland was the perfect attorney to help with my complicated and high conflict divorce and child custody case. When I first separated from my ex-wife 7 years ago, I made the mistake of retaining a novice attorney who succeeded in billing me over $5,000 in the first month simply for the pleasure of filing the divorce petition. It was clear that my faith had been misplaced. I quickly initiated a search for new counsel and found Mr. Garland quite by chance. That was probably the best find of my life. Mr. Garland is a top-notch attorney with almost as many years' experience as my former marriage had lasted. I found Mr. Garland to be very knowledgeable in family court matters. He billed fairly and accurately for his services. His countenance is the epitome of cool, calm, and collected both in front of a judge and in front of his client. I only wish that I had begun my divorce petition with Mr. Garland at the outset. Needless to say, he soon had things back on the right course. I firmly believe that his consultative approach and considered advice throughout were instrumental in resolving my case, including putting an end to all spousal support, in a much, much shorter time frame than could otherwise have been expected given that mine was a "marriage of long duration," not a phrase to be taken lightly in the state of California. Mr. Garland, I express to you my most sincere and heartfelt appreciation for all of your assistance in bringing this chapter of my life to a full and complete close. Lacey Sanchez and her team were so patient throughout negotiations with my ex and her lawyer (took 1.5 years to settle) gave excellent advice, and even continued to take my calls and emails while I still paid alimony over the past over the past five years even after official representation ended. Ms. Lesowitz is beyond knowledgeable when it comes to the convoluted ins and outs of CA family law. She is so passionate about the rights of those involved that she gets details in your arrangement that you would never have thought of adding in. My attorney with whom I had been working with for over a year on my divorce was unexpectedly called away to court right before my final hearing with the judge. She said she asked her mentor, Jessica Lesowitz, if she could step in last minute. She assured me I would be in even better hands than her own. Well, after one conversation with Jessica I was blown away. She had an amazing understanding of the entire history of my case and really understood the situation better than I could have ever imagined. The next day in court she helped me feel calm and prepared. She handled herself in the court room like a true master. Mr. Briones is a generic result attorney that totally got annihilated in court JP3 04/13/21 He was representing my family members in a civil suit and even got their name incorrect. Briones was unprepared and tried to scam Judge Wentworth into believing that only one person was on a deed to a home in dispute as if the other ex spouse was not on the deed at all. When the Judge called him out in it, Briones stumbled in his words saying he misunderstood. Briones did not even have the divorce Decree with him that literally won the case for the opponent . He told the Judge he did not know what was on it and got annihilated once again when the Judge had the copy of the decree and told him that his name was on it. He had signed it, yet had pretended he was unaware of the stipulations on it that favored the opponent and the case was lost for Briones. I believe the Judge could see through Briones right away and his credentials were immediately lost. This attorney is exactly the kind of attorney to avoid.

I went to see Mr. Briones for a consultation in December of last year. My ex wife was moving to Laredo and taking our son to go live over there. I asked Mr. Briones for help and he recommended that we file for a modification to have my son come live me with and not have to go to Laredo. It seemed impossible and I never thought I would have a chance but Mr. Briones was very certain that we could fight for this. I didn't have very much money to pay for a retainer so he asked for a little up front and put me on a payment plan. We went to court a few times and at the last hearing we won. My son now lives with me full time and I couldn't ask for a better lawyer on my side then Ricardo Briones.

Attorney Review/Reference We live in Texas and our son is stationed at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California Our son got a dear john from his wife the day after he was deployed to the Middle East and informed that she had filed for divorce and she would be sending the papers. While deployed he would call to speak to his two year old daughter and read her a bedtime story. He had to leave these on voicemail as his calls a world away were not picked up. He returned to a tumultuous household six months later and divorce proceedings were initiated by his wife they had been married approximately a year and a half. He had to hire an attorney and chose Ms. Mellanie Marshall. Divorce is a terrible and damaging event to all parties and especially when children are involved. Ms. Marshall was very patient in dealing with a highly frustrated client. As a member of the military he could be deployed or transferred at any time. This was a concern as a custody issue and was emotionally crushed that he might not be a part of his daughter’s life. M.s Marshall provided my son a realistic scenario of the possible outcomes but also was able to remain a calming influence to her client. She thoroughly researched the parties involved to come up with her game plan. She was interested in what was in the best interest of her client as well as the child. She was able to work with the opposing attorney to reach what would have been a reasonable accommodation to reduce the turmoil in the little girl’s life as well as the divorcing couple. The opposing attorney was unable to get her client to be reasonable with conditions that would allow both parents to be involved with the child. As a result, the opposing attorney was unable to work with her client and removed herself as her representative. In court Ms. Marshall was competent, thorough and I believe more than reasonable. The outcome that Ms. Marshall achieved was fantastic. My son has a custodial arrangement that allows him to be an integral part of his daughters’ life. She took a toxic situation and turned it into lemonade. My son has renewed his spirit and his daughter is happy. She now has an opportunity to interact with other children her age at the on base child development center. Any person's divorce is one of the worst times of their life! I called approximately 10 divorce lawyers, many of them simply blowing me off or quoting me a ridiculous "flat rate" that I absolutely could NOT afford. In my mind, my divorce was simple! No property to divide or minor children to deal with. We divided all our property ourselves and had no accounts to split. I simply needed someone to lead me through the paper filing process at a price I could afford. One lawyer had the nerve to say to me, "Lady, no divorce is simple. As soon as you get to court, your husband will change his mind and want it all. That is why I charge a higher rate......to prepare for the future fight you will have". SERIOUSLY? FINALLY, I talked to Attorney Richard Missimer. He was sympathetic and treated me with respect. He never belittled me. I explained my needs and he told me "exactly" what the process would be and what time spans we were looking at. He NEVER made me feel incompetent and repeatedly told me to ask him any questions I had, no matter how silly they might seem to me. I finally found my savior! He took that heavy load off of me and proceeded to lead me down the process without any fears. When he said he would send an email, the email was there, listing what paperwork was needed on my end to start the proceeding. When he said he would call, he called. When he said we would meet, we met when signatures were needed and the whole process became cut-and-dry! When the process was complete, there were absolutely no "hidden" charges. He charged me exactly what he quoted me! I would recommend him to anyone looking for an honest lawyer that truly cares for their needs!

Could not be more disappointed in the effort. It’s one thing to get a raw deal from a very broken system. It’s another to feel like your attorney couldn’t care less. You would think that before a conversation with your client, you would have done some prep and know the broad strokes of the case…. When you have tell your attorney how long your marriage was over and over again, it just sends an “I don’t care” message to your client. At least the first 3 times we spoke I had to tell her the length of marriage. Dealing with the issue of spousal support, where length of marriage is a key factor, you would think that you would not have to answer that question repeatedly. I know this to be true, because it stuck in my mind. I started having 2nd thoughts during each of the first couple conversations. Didn’t get the sense she cared one bit about the case. We had a meeting scheduled several days prior to a court hearing. 1pm she was to call me. I sat around for hours. No call. Now she claims that she called and nobody answered. Well I have no missed call. I have no voicemail. I have no email. No communication whatsoever until 7:30am, on the day of the hearing, 5 days later. Zero effort made to contact me in the 5 days between the scheduled call and meeting. After that January date until the next scheduled hearing, in April, we did not have a single conversation. I wasn’t even sure I was still being represented at that point. I had already become indifferent as to whether or not she would be at the next hearing. I get a call at 4:30pm the day prior. It’s not her paralegal. It’s not my attorney. It’s another attorney from the firm who I worked with on a different case. I had more contact with him during the hearing than I did with my attorney of record. Matter of fact, from January on, even past that April date, we didn’t have a single conversation where privilege would attach. Because we never communicated. Just absolutely unbelievable… you can’t guarantee results, but you will never get results if you fail make any effort. I know opposing counsel is digging into my finances and anything he can get his hands on. I couldn’t even get my attorney to request a copy of my wife’s unemployment claim, even with an easy in to the claim as a personal friend of mine is a supervisor with PA Unemployment office and I just simply needed to have an official request. Sounds like “inadequate discovery” to me….

She was my attorney for over two years. I really feel I did most of the work and she charged me for it. I was never charged paralegal rates for simple tasks or quick emails, she always charged me her full rate. She and her paralegal were incompetent when it came to navigating basic google drive etc. I had entire drive prepared myself with folders of evidence and information and neither of them could navigate it. Plenty of times she was unprofessional towards me, the opposing counsel and the judge. She often made me feel uncomfortable or stupid for asking questions about my own case or proceedings. On one occasion she called me an hour before our big trial claiming to have "lost" all the documents and requesting I bring all my own copies. She was then late to that trial, annoying the judge. During the trial she let the opposing counsel talk circles around her. It wasn't until I no longer used her services and did the continuing litigation on my own that I started actually getting the results I desired and began avoiding unnecessary or prolonged litigation. If you are searching for a legit attorney who will work FOR YOU I strongly recommend you hire someone other than Rita Ros-Planas.

I wouldn`t recommend to work with Lidia as long as she has a very poor customer service. Sometimes she was very rude over the phone talking to me. She couldn`t get time to call adjuster from other insurance for over 3 month and every time was finding new excuses. I guess my case wasn`t valuable enough for her. I will never use her services again.

Ok I was going trough a divorce filling. The case was failed against me and marriage, custody, child support, spousal support, property split all was at stake. I was looking for the local lawyers and first one I found was a completely different type. He was knowledgeable but very aggressive. His fees were never disclosed and happened to be a way high. He was pushing for a trial with very uncertain perspectives considering a luck of desire from my now ex-spouse to cooperate. Frustrated I came to Lidia. She offered a very different approach. She suggested to negotiate with my spouse and explained how can the matter be solved in a peaceful way. She told me that most of the people who go trough a divorce do eventually agree on something and it is a way better to pursue this approach from the start as every hour of a trial will cost a fortune. Even it represented a certain risk I agreed with her. It happened to be that this strategy worked. Negotiations were not easy but with Lidia help I was able to show what is guaranteed to me by law and could not be disputed. Eventually me and my now ex spouse agreed and we managed to divorce without a trial. I got a great deal on custody. My child support payment were determined by the state law. All other things been resolved by the mutual agreement that satisfied us both. Lidia fees were more than reasonable. She did a lot of work. Answered all my phone calls and responded to millions of my emails. Also she made multiple changes in the initial agreement to satisfy my ex-spouse demands. Not to say that at the moment I hired her my paperwork was very much messed up by the previous lawyer and Lidia and her stuff had to do a lot of additional work to bring things in order. Overall I am more than happy about my experience and would recommend Lidia to everyone. Be afraid of lawyers who do not disclose their fees and push you too much for the trial. Trial is a costly process and very good for lawyers. Not for you. But Lidia is very upfront about the cost and she was always advising the most economically sound solution. Do not know how to express how much thankful I am to her.

This attorney got more than $3000 from my pocket in last than 2 weeks. Although, he did not do anything. He just kept asking for money and money. I found another attorney and he was able to work on my divorce for less than that. Be careful with this man.

Brent was my attorney through a difficult divorce. My ex-husband was an unwilling participant in the marriage AND the divorce. Not wanting to participate in the divorce made him difficult to negotiate with. Brent was able to see through his stalling tactics and eventually, we were able to force the divorce issue. Brent was effective in communicating with the narcissist who was my husband. It still took a while, but I was able to get out of the relationship with my dignity intact and with everything I wanted and needed. I am satisfied and grateful for Brent's experience and highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for an attorney who finds themselves working with a difficult partner.
