Let’s face it, divorce is never something that is easy or painless for anyone involved. It forces us to expose our “underbellies” when we already feel vulnerable and afraid. I got arrested for a federal case on transporting illegal aliens on December of 2019 on my first appearance with my public defender that the court assign me she told me straight up that she wouldn't be able to get me bailed out, until we had court in San Diego in front of the judge that next day I had court again but at that time my brother's hired Attorney Jack J. Boltax that first thing he said to me on the interview in jail, he said we will get you out today, and that's what he did and with a lower bail. This attorney Jack J boltax doesn't play games, or loose time. The D.A put me at level ||| and a offense level 18 I was looking at real time 33-41 months the first 3 weeks he drop my level to 12 that was about a year in jail. He always said to me that he got my back. He would tell me that there was nothing to be nervous about and he proved to me everything the day of my sentence. On my sentence day I got 80 days in jail and to complete those days over weekends now I can still be working outside and support my family. Boltax was able to fight the deal and he got it for me. I truly , truly recommend this Attorney Jack J boltax he fights for you till the end his an excellent attorney with awesome knowledge to defend your case.

Very professional. Very open and friendly. Provided me with his cell phone so if I had questions I could contact him anytime. At first I wasn't sure with Jerry because he was in the Bay Area and I am in the valley. Didn't know if he would take my case. However, after speaking with him on the phone I knew I found the right attorney. He explained the entire process, what would be needed and what to expect. Seldom did I have any surprises. We gathered information and statements. Jerry put everything together and setup the first court hearing. He was successful in helping me get my 1203.4 (Dismissal). Next we moved on to the Certificate of Rehabilitation. He appeared with me at my interview and several continuations waiting for the DA to finish their report. The day finally came on November 18. My COR was submitted and approved by the judge. With that I was also cleared from the 290 Registration List. It was a long process, but well worth it. In 2000 I was convicted of a very serious felony drug charge. I was 20 years old. I came from a good home, graduated high school early and made great achievements in sports. I started to hang out with the wrong crowd, which eventually led me to be in a horrible drug charged relationship. I got my life back together, graduated college and went back into sports. However, everywhere I went this felony affected my life. It was hard to get a good job. Interviewers were interested in me, but as soon as they found out I had a felony I could see it in their eyes and body language…disappointment. I continually felt guilt and shame throughout my life, when all I was trying to do is be a better person. Then I met Mr. Mullins; he was confident in the fact that even though I had a serious drug charge it would be possible for me to have my full rights back. My journey was not easy, I had to put my heart and soul on paper and discuss what I did, and who I have become. We went through all the steps of receiving a Certification of Rehabilitation and then submitting that for a Governor’s pardon. Mr. Mullins knew all the steps that needed to be taken, and how it needed to be presented. He has a system of how things should be done and presented, and with his guidance and hard work I was granted a full and unconditional Governor’s Pardon within a year and a half’s time from start to finish. Mr. Digby is the best, most ethical, personable, professional, attorney my husband and I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Not only did he take our case no questions asked, but he completely changed our impression of the profession itself. Mr Digby is very intelligent in his chosen profession, but at the same time, is able to explain not only the laws themselves, but in both his office and the courtroom, takes the time to make sure the average joe understands what is being said, done, and what needs to be done. I got a felony charge just by being at a house when a fight broke out so I called around to find a lawyer and when I got in touch with Mr. Tarpley he immediately wanted to meet he knew we needed to get on this case as fast as possible to get it resolved! I was facing a misdemeanor with the prosecutor asking the judge for 30 days in jail. Most of the statements against me were fabricated by the prosecutors witnesses. My lawyer could not help me. I asked for a continuance and hired Joseph Corrozzo. Even though the case was in upper NY state ,Joseph heard my side and took the case. He hired PI's to investigate my side then started to go to work on the validity of the witnesses against me. Days before my court date he flew up to meet with the prosecutor to go over ALL the evidence that was presented to him and ALL the evidence that contradicts the States case. When he walked out of the prosecutors office he said the State was going to drop all charges based on the information that we now had. This was a complicated case that only if the whole story was told I would have had a chance . Joseph at no point during his time with me ever waivered on my innocence and constantly reassured me that he would make sure i was given a fair chance. His confidence and knowledge of the law was remarkable. No written words could truly describe the work he did.

When I first met Ari I was still whirling from no longer being a witness, but suddenly “the target of a federal investigation”. While cinema is rife with attorney/detectives of near superhuman abilities, in the real world it’s hard to imagine being assigned a better Public Defender than Ari. I found him genuinely caring, yet tempered with the gravitas of a seasoned veteran in a profession where life can literally hang in the balance of a few words. Sharp and perceptive, Ari knew what to say and ask to cut through the whirlwind and address my most pressing concerns. He made it clear that what had happened, happened, and WE would assess what that was exactly, what my role had been, and from those any potential liability.
Ever straight forward, Ari informed me he was not particularly familiar with the field of law my case fell under… but he would be. That promise I felt was made as much to himself as to me and was born from his love of the law and passion for being a Public Defender. It is an incredibly challenging and vastly underappreciated career despite being crucial to the function of our judicial system. I don’t normally write reviews. This will be the 2nd review I’ve ever posted in my 46 yrs of life but Mr. Michael Lehmann deserves it. He is sincere, honest, kind, and an amazing advocate for his clients. He is very, very amazing at communicating. The first time I met Mr. Lehmann I was coming off the elevator trying to get to my sons hearing. Mr. Lehmann let me know that the hearing had started early and they had postponed things but as a mom who got their 30 min early and still missed seeing my son I was devastated that I wasn’t there for my son on time not to mention the obvious heartbreak I was dealing with my son being in the circumstance he was in. Mr. Lehman sat with me and explained everything to me and answered all my questions. I was crying and had so many things going through my mind but he was so kind and understanding and calm. He never made me feel like I was wasting his time. He fought for my son and got him a very fair sentence. Mr. Lehmann helped put my faith back into the justice system. My family and I feel very blessed to have him on my sons case.

Ever been accused of a crime you were innocent of, signed for probation, and then miraculously find yourself in standing before the judge listening to these beautiful words, "Not Guilty"???? if not its because you have never been represented by this man, Michael A. Lehmann, this was near a decade ago. It really happened, and yes i was charged with DWIWACI... An open and shut; your automatically guilty type situation. I, didnt do it and had just signed 10 years of my life away and been made financially responsible for the near 100,000$ in restitution's.But two days before my time for appeal ran out something happend , new evidence, new facts. Mike was my pda at the time. Meaning PUBLIC DEFENSE ATTORNEY. Meaning the months that would come to pass in motion hearings, time spent with criminal investigators, time spent with toxicologists, literally hundreds of hours. Where absolutely not spent in an hourly+retainer situation. I dunno what pda's typically bring in annually, but to the point, it was never about greed, or lack of shame, or MONEY. It was the fact that Mike new i was innocent! As well as the fact that he believes in JUSTICE! What we have here ladies and gentlemen is not some, attorney at law, or gumshoe pi, or snake in the grass defense lawyer. What we have here, is an Officer of the Court, who believes in justice, and is not afraid to stand strong in the face of overwhelming odds for others, simply because of those last two stated facts. I have been a client of Chamberlain Law Firm for over seven years! I first came to Margaret in the middle of a custody battle. Prior to meeting with her I tried to handle things on my own and landed myself in a very precarious position. I did not wish to fight with my ex, but simply do what was going to be best for the two young children. My ex had other plans. In hindsight I wish I would have met with her sooner. If you are considering whether you should or shouldn't get an attorney… You need to just come speak with Margaret. She is a wealth of knowledge! I won't bore you with the sob story that was my life. 2016 was a very tough year for my family. My step daughters mother made some significant changes in her life that would have taken an A student out of an excellent school, 400 miles away from everything she knew and loved. Including friends and family, moving her the unknown with a new stepfather that was not out for her well being. We were terrified for what her future was to hold. We were scare, angry, very upset... anxious. Margaret and her staff felt like family, they understood how and why we felt what we felt. And we felt their concerns for our daughter as well. They understood this was our world right now and we just needed the safety of this child to be put first and foremost.
Deanne and Kathy were always sure to understand any concern when we contacted the office whether via email or phone so as to relay to Ms. Chamberlain in the best to their ability for her to get back to us with an answer promptly.
My step daughter had a change in custody to her father - temporary custody end of summer 2016. Father got sole custody mid summer 2017. Both very unusual results.
