What began as a tough decision to find representation at a very difficult time, turned into a huge relief that helped me to protect my family's interests and needs. Catherine and her amazing staff helped me every step of the way, from consultation to the final judgement. Catherine was there, at any time, to answer my questions, address my concerns and explain every step of this process. My children and I were put in a difficult situation and Catherine walked me through it. At various times when I was unsure of what was in the best interests of my family, she explained the possible outcomes in a way that made it understandable and that allowed me to make the right decision. Catherine always told it as it was and explained how the system works and how to help my family achieve what we needed. When I was pushing for certain goals, Catherine facilitated it. Even when I was not able to reach those goals, Catherine was a voice of reason and explained how to care for my family the best way possible given the situation. She fought for my behalf multiple times and constantly tried to reach a written agreement even very early in the process. Catherine and her incredible staff were constantly in communication with me about what was happening and what could develop in the process. Many times, Catherine cooled my emotions and reminded me of the big picture. After filing for divorce in the middle of last year we came to an agreement early this year, and I could not be any more pleased. She always kept me up to date with the process. Over the last 8 years, I have faced repeating challenges with child support issues. April and Melissa were very professional from start to finish. April was my last attorney of many unprofessional and unethical attorneys in a long divorce. I did not work with her very long, however she was great the whole time. She was understanding to my Financial situation, and my needs. No coincidence, Stuart knows how to earn every star -- and my experience with him tells me he delivers beyond five stars. Great attention to detail, phenomenal understanding of complex financials, does not try to be your psychologists and sticks to the facts, very honest and very sensitive to not spending too much time on senseless discussion that can only lead to higher legal fees. Handled my complex financial case in most masterful of ways. After first hearing, I thought it was over, but Stuart help me identify most important gaps and we worked together to turn things around. I needed to find a lawyer for my divorce in August of 2017, I was very lucky to have found Marie Reidy. When I met with Marie for the first time, she was very helpful with answering my questions and my concerns. After discussing my case with Marie, I felt very comfortable talking to Marie and I hired her the same day. Marie was always there at all my court dates ready to stand beside me and fight for what I was entitled to. Marie knew I was nervous every time we went to court, but she always gave me a little pep talk reassuring me everything will work out. Throughout my divorce If I had any question,concerns anything I would call her office and Marie would get back to me the same day. After 28 months and two lawyers representing me in a complex divorce, Linda, as my third lawyer, finally settled my case in nineteen days. She is nothing but hard working, compassionate, ethical and smart. I had more communication with Linda than either of my past two lawyers combined. After all of the divorce dust has settled, I can't imagine having gone through this process without Sheila Romell. She provided me with excellent guidance and representation, and was always there to be my voice of reason amidst all of the emotions that often times occur during the divorce process. I am 100% certain that I faired better in this process having hired Sheila to represent me! The property division laws in Wisconsin can be unfair compared to some "at fault" states, in my opinion, and I truly believe Sheila protected me and my assets from an unfair or disproportionate division.
Some attorneys will stir the pot, or willingly fight over things, it seems. Not Sheila! On countless occasions, she reminded me that the "things" I wanted weren't always worth the cost of going after them, which I appreciated. Her goal always seemed to be the protection of my best interests, vs unnecessarily bantering with the opposing counsel in order to drive up a bill. That isn't to say that Sheila isn't a well respected attorney, or a fighter, if need be! She seemed to be very well known, and carried herself incredibly well.
Going into my "surprise" divorce, I was wondering how I could afford the legal fees, and whether I would come out in one piece. After the dust has settled, I now know that I couldn't afford NOT to hire Sheila, and am incredibly happy that I did!
I have nothing but good things to say about my representation by Sheila Romell. You hire an attorney for protection, amongst other things. I felt like a lamb going against a wolf in my divorce. After calling several lawyers and getting no responses back I began to pray for God to show me the right way to go. Shortly after praying I found Natalie's website and made a call. We talked for about an hour. I could feel that God had led me to her. She listened attentively to my situation and responded with indepth explanations of how we could proceed. She was considerate of my financial situation and showed a genuine interest in helping me reach my desired outcome. It was apparent from our many conversations that followed that Natalie was an expert in her field and was invested in my case. Natalie stood strong and confident in front of the judge. Attorney Manning Zoll is an incredible negotiator and a truly compassionate person. All attorneys are nothing alike. I had one before Jennifer and the difference was like night and day. Jennifer listens, she's detailed and she's realistic. She crosses her T's and dots her I's as a true professional. This was an extremely tough divorce as I am sure most are, and honestly I wasn't sure I was going to get through it, but I did and I got more than I had asked for. I hired Mr David Hudson to help me fight for custody of my granddaughters. My daughter passed away and I had had custody for approximately 2 yrs before their dad decided he wanted them. I decided to choose Mr. Hirsch after seeing his reviews online and the amount of success he has brought to his clients in the past. Brian is a knowledgeable, experienced, humble, trust worthy, and a patient lawyer to work with. Through out the entire last year, Brian has never failed to satisfy me by giving me information I needed to be prepare ahead of time. He would answer my questions, file all documents, give me head up all in a timely manner. During mediation, I was Uncertain and unaware of many issues which that he patently explained to me until I was Satisfied with his answers. He gave me examples of similar cases and success rate which put my mind at ease. I am very happy with my divorce settlement agreement regarding custody, visitations, support, assets division, property division, etc. I was saved the hassle to go to trial and by having a successful mediation. Almost 2 years ago today I made the very difficult decision to end my 2 decades of marriage after my "I do" became an "I don't".
