After a 25 year marriage, I didn’t know where to begin to find legal representation with the knowledge, professionalism, and support to guide me through the tribulations of divorce. Ms Dilima listened, explained my options, helped me understand what I was entitled to, and won the custody and alimony arrangement that was in the best interests of my children and me. Fait & Dilima literally wrote the book on divorce in Maryland and when the opposing attorneys cited outdated laws and attempted unprofessional tactics, Ms Dilima simply corrected and clarified them with class in a calming manner, making it all look like child’s play. I tried two attorneys before finding Ms Dilima and what I thought was “the cheaper attorney’s fee”, was recovered four times over with Fait and Dilima. It’s easy finding a divorce lawyer. They are all over the internet. But finding a good divorce lawyer? Not so easy. Once divorce becomes the logical solution, finding the proper family attorney is undoubtedly one of the most important decisions to be made.
A good one becomes more than a lawyer. A good family attorney can, and in many cases will, become more than your advocate. They are the foundational expert in legal matters—family and financial—that will lay the groundwork for the post-divorce landscape. They can become your defender, confidant and, at times, even a part time amateur therapist. Given all of that responsibility, finding a skilled and conscientious divorce lawyer that a client can trust is of paramount importance.
Without reservation I can say that Leah Griffin is an outstanding family attorney that provides the assurance and confidence that is required. She ticks all the boxes listed for proficiency and professionalism.
I hired Leah to represent me in my divorce in 2018. My divorce was an extraordinarily difficult and complex process with many personal and financial angles to measure, manage and negotiate. The set of circumstances involved children, property and a very large estate with multiple trusts and investments to consider and maneuver through and around.
Once Leah was presented with all of the details of this highly complex situation, she was able to synthesize the information and, ultimately, present to me a set of potential options with their likely outcomes. She made sure that I understood what the implications were for each decision that I had to make regarding my children as well as my financial future with its inherent responsibilities. Her extensive experience in situations similar to mine provided her with the proper context to assist me in finding a solution that would set the roadmap for my post-divorce life and that of my children.

When we first met Mr. Eric Luckman we felt like family. Mr. Eric Luckman deserves more than 5 stars because he never gave up on our case. We had a very rare and unfortunate case with our insurance company during a car accident. Mr Luckman was the only lawyer that was willing to take our case pro bono (when we get paid he gets paid). The case has was dragging on for 2 years by the insurance company but he NEVER gave up. Mr. Luckman stood by us and represented us to the last. I do not know how I would have gotten through my divorce if I had not had Adrienne as my legal counsel. From our very first interaction she was so honest which I appreciated and found refreshing. Adrienne not only knows the law, she practices always keeping the law in the forefront of any conversation or interaction, which was nice for me because it made things simple regarding what could be negotiated and what was simply the law.
She worked hard with opposing counsel to ensure the process continued to move forward as she recognized that I could not move forward in life until my divorce was finalized. Adrienne is extremely organized and has an uncanny attention to detail. I trust her implicitly and although I do not plan on getting married or divorced again, if I did find myself in that situation, I would not want any other counsel except Adrienne.
Adrienne is a fierce advocate for her clients and she really took the time to get to know me as a person, my sense of humor and values as well as my triggers (I hate that word) or issues where I could easily become emotional. Divorce is not for me and like many others I didn’t get married to get divorced, but Adrienne made it not only bearable but at times enjoyable. After a long and unhappy marriage, my former spouse and I decided to hire Juliet to mediate our legal separation. We had initially hired our own legal representatives and that was proving to me a true nightmare and promised a protracted, painful and expensive pathway. We took a pause and decided to try a mediator and were so fortunate to find Juliet and her paralegal, Jentri. As one can imagine, splitting from a spouse of nearly 4 decades was a complex, conflict-riddled, contentious experience. Juliet somehow managed to maintain her incredibly professional, calm and neutral stance while we hammered out our settlement contract. Her billing was beyond fair and well accounted for. Her work, including the computations needed, was carefully prepared and meticulously documented. Given the behaviors she had to tolerate and the "tattling" she was subjected to, she remained supportive of both parties and respectful toward us. When it was over and we met to sign paperwork, she was very empathetic and left me with a box of tissues and time to compose myself. I know we were difficult to deal with and she must have had to use all of her skills to coach us to the conclusion. A year later, my former spouse asked for a divorce and wanted to use her to complete that last step. Again, she and Jentri were professional, brief and did not get involved in the drama surrounding the divorce. Since her work had been so thorough during the separation, the divorce was quick and simple and they took care of everything. I was so grateful! I would highly recommend Juliet to anyone that thinks they can navigate a marital split with some semblance of civility, the ability to "be in the same room" negotiating the terms and avoid a costly and destructive battle.

I was living a nightmare for almost four years. I sold my home and the buyers' attorney fell for a scam e-mail, wiring my mortgage payoff to a fraudulent account at my servicing bank. All of the funds were completely withdrawn from the fraudulent account in a few days. I had no idea that any of this happened until the bank deducted a mortgage payment from my account weeks later. After my real estate attorney discovered what happened, the bank was notified of the fraud and told me not to worry, and that they would freeze the account until the situation was rectified. The buyers' attorney refused to take any responsibility, claimed to be a victim, and never notified the buyers that their home was subject to a lien from an unsettled mortgage. The local police and the FBI were notified and investigated and found that the scammers succeeded in getting the funds overseas. Everyone involved in the transaction denied responsibility and then the bank denied saying that they would freeze the account and referred me to collections, destroying my credit and putting my security clearance and livelihood at risk. I hired Tim and PLG to represent me in this matter, and when the bank refused to even discuss what had happed, he filed a civil suit on my behalf. Tim and PLG were relentless in fighting for me and helping me navigate through dealing with my employer as my clearance was in jeopardy. Were it not for Tim, I would have lost my clearance and my job. Unfortunately, there is little recourse for victims of this type of fraud and it is impossible to fight major banks, insurance companies, and attorneys without having the best on your side. I was lucky to have Tim and PLG on my side and I received a favorable outcome. Tim is passionate about what he does, seeking justice for his clients, fighting for "the little guy"! I hope no one ever has to go through what I did, but if you do, you need Parlatore Law Group in your corner!

I've been a small business owner in New York City for around the past 5 years, and I've been working with Adam (and his associate, though I'll review him separately) since virtually the very beginning.
Adam has seen my company grow from a tiny fledgling entity to where we are today, and has been an integral part of our surmounting the myriad challenging, unlucky, 'unfair', or otherwise demanding legal situations and circumstances that come with starting and running a business -- both par-for-the-course and very unexpected.
It's tough to condense everything I could possibly highlight here, but to consolidate to concise summation, simply read the title of this review. One of the things I appreciate most about Adam is his comprehensive analysis and thorough explanations on any given set of circumstances, while at the same time remaining efficient and precise in all the right ways. His methods in outlining different legal approaches or strategies and potential ramifications of each is incredibly informative and helpful in deciding how best to tackle certain situations based on practicality. I also very much appreciate that while he is worth every dollar he invoices, he doesn't hesitate to express anytime there may be avenues to spend *less* on legal in a particular set of circumstances (and the various possibilities and outcomes). He's honest and is a person of integrity.
All in all, I couldn't more heartily recommend Adam as a great attorney for anyone in need of highly effective counsel in any fashion.
