I have been nothing but pleased with Joe and his entire staff. My first call into this office, Joe took my call directly and I could immediatly tell he was an attorney sincerely vested in his clients and thier cases. He has a level of humanity and integrity that is frankly hard to find in the field. He agreed to take on, what I was repeatedly told by nearly everyone, was an "unwinnable" case agianst The Department of Human Sevices over a TRAILS finding.
Joe and his staff were so incredibly responsive, efficient and thorough in their assistance and handling of my case. Having them on my side to handle all the legalize, I knew that I was in the best of legal hands possible in a part of the law way over most people's heads. For the first time in years, I could focus just on LIVING.
Our TRAILS appeal, that won an Administrative Law Judges ruling in our favor back in 2018, was overturned CDHS themeslves (because they can do that!) and went all the way to th Colorado Court of Appeals where it was unaimously reversed again by all three judges, back to the ALJ initial decision. Words cannot describe the care, patience, understanding and quality of work performed by Joe and his team. He was able to deal with a very difficult family dynamic and he kept his sense of humor and never lost patience. He really knows how to handle people and made what was a very emotionally difficult situation just a little better by his thoughtful and caring manner. I recently was pulled over for driving on a revoked license & no seat belt in Lake County. While on probation. I was absolutely sick to my stomach & Affraid. I called a good friend of mine and explained what happened to me. He told me to call Paul.

I wanted to write you a brief statement of commendation for the handling of my DUI case and for the benefit of others seeking a DUI lawyer. For the benefit of others, you WANT to hire this DUI firm! They are the BEST by far in the State of Maryland!
I am a pilot and REQUIRED a favorable outcome in my DUI to not only continue driving but to continue flying. Bruce took my case and assured me that everything would be worked out successfully. He said if there is a problem in court, his firm will continue to fight for me until we get the required result.
We went to District Court in Baltimore County and Mr. Robinson tried my case. He advised me ahead of time that we had an unfavorable and very harsh judge but that he would fight the case for me at trial regardless. He tried the case as promised and we did not obtain the result that I needed to continue my flying career. I was very concerned for my future and the next sequence of events to follow. Mr. Robinson assured me that this can happen with difficult judges but that he would continue to fight my case in the Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Robinson explained all the options in my very delicate and complicated situation as a pilot. Ultimately, I picked an avenue that worked best for me and Mr. Robinson's firm actually got the case EXPEDITED on the Circuit court docket and got the EXACT result that I needed, thereby protecting my future.

November 2020 I had a slip and fall, I spoke to a family member, believing that this could have been preventable, he referred me to The Wharton Law Firm, I have never been in this situation before so I contacted the firm. All this happened during the early stages of the Covid-19 pandemic, I received a phone call advising that the attorney wanted to conduct a zoom consultation, during the consultation I advise him of what had taken place on that day, I was then advised that the firm would except my case, I was grateful. Not knowing what to expect, I went to all my doctor visits, obtain any evidence that I could, Andrew kept me up dated on every aspect of the case, if he emailed and stated they needed anything such as medical records, medical bills ect. I was able to obtain them. anytime they call, emailed the first thing they ask was how was I feeling. I woud receive some emails asking certain questions about that day, to clear up a few unanswered questions. As time went on I was still continuing treatment, I would advise them of every appointment I had, what day, who I was seeing, afterwards I would email Andrew advise him of my visit, what will happen next, I just kept him up to date on everything that was going on. Once we got to the near end I was advised of the starting offer, he advise me on each and every one through the end, he consulted with me about what to expect and how this negotiaton would take place, after mutipile offers and at that time which I agreed to settle. When you're being charged with any crime, it is something that needs to be taken very seriously. Selecting the right attorney to defend your reputation, freedom and rights is the most important decision you will make in the situation. I'm so very glad I made the decision to select Hernandez and Baggett. They had excellent communication and were very responsive to answer all my questions from start to finish. They took the allegations against me very seriously and they put together an amazing defense for my trial, which showcased credibility flaws in all the witnesses who were testifying against me. The background checks they pulled and how they used that information to raise doubts in the courtroom, it was on the level Perry Mason style detective work and even better. Extremely thoughtful, strategic, and well played! I am so impressed with how they handled my case every step of the way. The prosecution left ashamed and embarrassed with the attention they had brought onto themselves to even bring this case to trial.

Robert was able to negotiate a lesser charge of highway obstruction. My BACs were high at almost 15%. I interviewed Dallas's top lawyers and most were very bleak in their outlook.
Another top lawyer's sole strategy was just to negotiate my jail time. Robert explored every option thoroughly on the other hand. Robert does not rush working the case details with you and takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. This is something I really appreciated, and is hard to find in a lawyer. Overall, Robert is the kind of lawyer you want in your corner, is someone that will fight for you, and I give him my highest recommendation.

I hired Robert&Baggett to represent me in DWI case that I found myself in January 2016. Robert told me the challenges that were ahead of me and since am Truck driver (CDL) my job depends on my driving licence I was in a tight situation since my blood analysis was at 0.17. My licence was to be suspended and immediately Robert asked for a hearing with DPS and we won my licence wasn't suspended. We embarked on the main case and Robert and Baggett did a great job my case was heard by jury in april 17&18 2017 and I couldn't believe my ears when the jury came back with a verdict of not guilty. Dan was not my lawyer for most of this case, but I wish he was from the start. My previous attorney was non-responsive and didn't seem to want to put in the work for my case.

I broke my ankle in December of 2013 eleven months after having knee replacement surgery. It was, fortunately, the other leg, but it was a bad break, in 2 areas, requiring surgery, hospitalization and a long recovery (14 weeks non weight bearing). It was awful, but the shining light in the whole ordeal was my lawyer, Ron Gluck who took care of everything from start to finish. It was clearly a case where the fault was the restaurant's where I had fallen. Ron negotiated with their insurance company on my behalf and I believe got the very best settlement for me without ever losing or compromising his integrity or mine. I felt like I was in excellent hands from the very beginning of the ordeal. It never went to court as Ron was determined to have the right thing happen in a timely way and not have this dragged out forever with me waiting for the monies he believed I should receive. I knew I was with a quality law firm...he had been recommended by more than one person and I am very glad I never looked any further.
This is not something anyone wants to have happen, but when it does, it is a great feeling to know that there are lawyers you can trust to behave in admirable ways and to work to get deserved compensation.

Jim is fantastic!!! I would not hesitate to get him again if God forbid, I ever need him again. He was always way on top of everything, got whatever needed to be done completed, answered my phone calls very promptly in emails if not by phone or in person. He has gone way above the call of duty. He claims he is not a miracle worker, but my son and I definitely disagree. He got us way more than we anticipated he would for my sons case. He came to see my son in the hospital when he was not able to go to Jim. Jim and the whole firm were very respectful at all times. If someone didn't know the answers we were looking for, we got the answers in a respectable amount of time. In 2013 I was involved in a severe bicycle accident caused by a motor vehicle. In cases such as this, no matter the evidence, the cards tend to be stacked heavily against the bicyclist. As an avid cyclist himself, Jim was intimately aware of the prejudice that bicyclists must face in the legal world, and took every step to overcome this and make sure that the (very high) costs of my medical treatment were covered by the appropriate parties. He also fought to obtain a sizeable settlement to cover the many additional costs associated with the accident, and won. I cannot recommend Jim highly enough!
