We had the great opportunity to work with Paul to help us with our wills since we are now living in Tennessee. Paul walked us through the process, gave us options to consider and always gave us scenarios which we didn't think of as we were preparing our wills and Power of Attorney documents. Mr. Bisbey is the antithesis of that and is genuinely kind and empathetic. Mr. Bisbey has proved himself over and over to myself and my husband as being the BEST ATTORNEY around - he is very trustworthy, reliable, decent and knowledgeable and this is hard to find. He cares about his clients and always looks out for them. You can trust him. Can't say that about many attorneys as was the case he just handle - a real estate transaction wherein we were the lien holders of a note and were supposed to have been paid at the time of the closing but this did not happen because the other attorney failed to collect our money and gave all the proceeds to his clients knowing that we had a first lien on the property. Well a week later Mr. Bisbey had our money. Thanks for being there for us.

My divorce case was fairly simple. It was just about the money. Bill returned calls quickly, during breaks at court, or mediation. Email turnaround was quick also, depending on the complexity of the information and documents to be reviewed and modified thus removing the necessity to meet in person to go over documents time and time again. This was a bonus for me!
I enjoyed working with Bill so much, I've hired him again for my probate case!

We dealt with Bill on a fairly simple, yet unfrequent issue: seller refused to release 15k in earnest money after cancellation of contract. The issue? Paperwork reached seller at 5:06pm instead of the 5:00pm deadline.
I sent Bill copies of all docs, set up chronologically by me. He interpolated with advice and found all possible contract loopholes. Then recommended that I, the buyer, write the seller pointing out the faults of the contract, and that they would likely end up having to release the funds, plus fork-out all additional costs - likely a few thousand each. Worked like a charm. As Tony Soprano would say: baddabim-baddaboom. His final bill wasn't exorbitant either. Def-rec!

Guys ... please don’t do this alone! I started out doing the friendly, no-lawyer divorce. We poked around on the internet, read the law and I was about to give the farm away.
I’m a relatively smart guy and able to figure most things out, but this ... way out of my league. I had a very simple divorce, no minor children, no real assets - only a house, nothing really to "fight" for. I surrendered all the furniture and was trying to be fair.
Bill was great, laid out the facts, applied his experience (don’t underestimate the need to find someone with experience), looked at the whole picture, and talked me off the ledge. I was giving too much.
We ended up going through mediation, Bill was calm and drama free, which seemed to irritated my ex-wife’s lawyer - bonus. Bill was rational and thoughtful with the mediator.
Bill listened when he needed too, asked only the questions he needed, and gave me some great advice. I know consider this an investment that has paid off. I was looking at years of support and contact with my ex-wife. After mediation, that was it. No support, no contact, life is good now.
I highly recommend you at least talking to Bill, see where you stand. Then decide, but you’ll do like I did and move forward with him.

After a death, the last thing you want to do is worry about someone liquidating your fathers assets. This is what my sisters and I had to face a week after burying our dad. Due to him not having a will things where really complicated and his wife tried to take advantage of the situation. A family friend referred us to Bill and he has been a breath of fresh air throughout this entire process. Her attorney has been procrastinating the entire time and Bill has been on him like white on rice! Bill is very much to the point- no BS so if you want to be coddled then this one isn't for you. But, if you want the facts and someone that is going to give it to you straight while fighting for what's right then Bill is your guy. I highly recommend his team to anyone going through probate or a family settlement agreement. He's expensive but well worth the money I promise!

Ten years ago when my charming Japanese mother was merely 75 and enjoying retirement, I would never imagined the family we are today. I doubt now the worthy of saving too much money your lifetime because doing so may be the dragon that eats you. Since, I’ve learned and witnessed and heard of through my associations with caregivers, this is all too common. Be careful what you wish for.
I cannot have chosen a better attorney for my guardianship case. I also can’t help but think Ryan Moe worked this case because he was sent out from heaven to me and Mom. He was supposed to and for good reason. The man is made from fine cloth and don’t judge him for his seriousness or his disappearing or his directness - he’s working it all out upstairs, metaphysically speaking - he’s got a natural clear intuit so keep things easy on yourself and answer the questions concisely. Ryan is remarkably intelligent and he imagines strategies and it’s fascinating to watch him dance with the pieces and “the bad guys”. Sorry! Had to. He’s my 2022 Super Hero!!!! Thank you Universe! I am so grateful to him and Elizabeth for taking us in!
While I believe justice and fairness are human constructs and we should not hold tight to the ideas of such - Ryan Moe will make you believe they are real if only a little while.

When my father passed away and it was clear that there were going to be disputes with my sibling I started contacting lawyers. The first 3 lawyers I contacted all told me to go to the state and file with Adult Protective Services. I didn't feel this was the way to go. I got on the internet and started researching lawyers with Elder law experience and found Mr. Ryan Moe. I contacted his office and went to see him a few days later. I liked him immediately and knew he was very knowledgeable about Elder law. When I had my first consultation with him about my mom's diminished capacity he set up a doctor's appointment so my mother could be checked by a professional. She was indeed found to have diminished capacity that no one else in the family wanted to admit to. I also advised him that my sibling was taking all kinds of money and wanted to see if he could get it stopped. Throughout the whole process I knew Mr. Moe was the best lawyer for the job. He was laid back but aggressive when needed to be. He put me at ease right away and I knew he had my back at all times. I very much respect and would recommend Mr. Moe to anyone having problems with siblings and disputes. He was easy to talk to and listened and offered advice. If the need arises for more legal help I will definitely call Mr. Moe. Very easy to talk to and puts you at ease. He is a compassionate and caring individual.

John was knowledgeable, informative, and easy to work with while setting up my wife and I's living will and attorney of power forms. He was affirming and comfortable to work with as a same-sex couple setting up these documents to protect our family even prior to the SCOTUS ruling. He took the time needed to answer our questions and was prompt in putting the documents together once we had provided the necessary information. He was open to make the edits required and thorough in going through the final documents. We would work with him again if we had future legal needs.

Our case involve a home builder we hired to build our "dream house." He turned out to be a thief and completely incompetent. After more than a year of fighting with the
"builder" to fix the problems, we decided to try the legal route.
We had never had any experience with lawyers and were not even sure how to start the process. A friend recommended John and we got an appointment the same week. He was WONDERFUL. John walked us through the process, told us what to expect (including the frustrations to come) he was very meticulous, organized, and kept us informed every step of the way.
In the end he proved fraud, deceptive trade practices, and incompetence on the part of the builder. Our home was declared a complete loss and because of the fraud and deceptive trade practices,, we were awarded the full price of the house plus triple damages. The total amount of the judgement was 500,000 dollars.
I hope we will never need another attorney but if we do, John is the first guy we will call.
I recommend John to anyone in need of an attorney.

I've known John Gilliam for many years. He has advised me on Montana employment law, torts--- specifically on issues of libel and slander. He has also advised me on contract re-negotiation; John helped me draft a couple of letters that re-positioned me in a dispute. When our Mom passed away several years ago, Bill handled the Reverse Mortgage notification for us. Then six years later we received hundreds of pages of documents about the property that we did not understand. The relief I felt and the burden that was lifted after I called Bill and spoke with him about the documents received in regard to our mother’s reverse mortgage is the biggest part of the reason for this excellent rating.

I retained Brian after a previous general practice lawyer had destroyed my case with improper/poorly timed filings and insufficient pleadings. The last thing I wanted to do was switch lawyers in the middle of a case but I had no choice, I had no trust/faith. My mother and I were referred to Ms. Perla after my father's death to help us come up with a trust for my mother. Ms. Perla was very helpful and informative, able to answer all our questions. She was patient and kind and repeatedly let us know we could contact her with questions at any time. I was most impressed with how she interacted with my mother. My mother has Alzheimer's and deferred to me on just about every issue. Despite that, Ms. Perla always directed her questions and commentary directly to my mother. I felt it showed a great deal of respect, letting my mother know that even if she wasn't able to follow along with everything being said, all of this was about her and being done for her.

Seeking an elder care attorney to handle rather unusual business for a relative of mine, I found Carol. Within the first 20 minutes of meeting her, I knew I found the right person to deal with the "mess" I had to clear up for my aunt. Carol helped me to organize aunt's affairs, clean up/clear up outstanding issues, and be able to move forward to getting my aunt the best options available and decide how/where to go, i.e. next step. Carol was honest enough to tell me when there things I could do things myself and save money instead of having her do them. It turns out there were many things I could do myself. Our family hired Mr. Prentice to protect my mother’s assets from the 10k per month bill she was receiving from her nursing facility. Mr. Prentice swiftly stopped this bill from continuing and saved her hard earned savings. Our family paid Mr. Prentice quite a bit, but it was 100% worth it! Larry successfully guided me through the process of selling my interest in my company to my partner. The legal side ran smoothly due to Larry's initiative and skillset. But what made the deal happen was Larry's understanding of the nature of my partner's situation and managing the process in a way that accommodated her emotional needs through closing.
