International "legal giant" Holland Knight has continuously refused to provide my legal files while abetting Alex "Sandy Hook" Jones's ongoing conspiracy with their former law partner Eric Taube whom they continued to advertise as a "trusted advisor" while having transcripts of Taube's inconsistent sworn statements/perjury in the hearing on my Motion to Disqualify in in U.S. Bankruptcy Court (Tex. I was referred to Ms. Wheeler from another lawyer, about a child custody case involving my two daughters. 1 newborn and 1 that was at the time 2 years old.
My case pretty cut and dry.
The mother pretty much abandoned them and left them with me for months while she was with new boyfriend enjoying life.
Ms. Rebecca Wheeler and the firm she represented was very nice and diligent at first. But, after a week or so, I could no longer reach her, via phone or email.
Long story short. The way everything happened, I have suspected that she was more for the other side. As if she were paid off to throw case. Or just plainly didn't give a damn about the well being of two little children, but more concerned with making money.
Not reliable, she is a talented lair and at $400/hour + expenses she is down right a thief!!
She should be disbarred!
RUN AWAY!!

Me. Wheeler neglected to prepare or file 3 separate motions that were necessary for my case. She also took days and sometime weeks to return phone calls or emails from myself and the guardian ad litem.

Linda missed scheduled court / did not communicate with me in timely manner and completely ignored questions I had / she quit while negotiating a settlement / she had excuse after excuse/ had numerous conversations with the plaintiff / failed to update me with new information i.e. settlement offer/ I made an time sense offer and 19 days passed before I got a reply./ did not present all of my evidence/ has not represented me or my best interest/ and has sent 2 invoices that are outrageous and not what our contract outlines if I was found responsible for the fees. I regret hiring Linda Tappa.

Ms. Tappa and I spoke on the phone but I decided to hire a different attorney. Ms. Tappa then sent me a bill and filed a suit for $365 for legal services that I was never informed about or agreed to.
I never signed the Representation Agreement she emailed me and was never told I would be billed for the phone conversation. Over the course of a few weeks she called and emailed me but I was not interested in her services. Ms. Tappa also billed me for the time it took her to send me emails or leave voicemails asking for my business.
I spoke with over 10 attorneys and law firms and not a single one of them did anything like this. I would recommend anyone to be VERY careful when communicating with Ms. Tappa in any way.
You may speak with Ms. Tappa to see if she's a good fit for your case and end up with a $350+ bill.

Having researched Michael after my experience with him, including the experiences of other clients, it appears as if he makes his living by doing the absolute bare minimum required (if that). He’s handsome, charming, and very good at seeming like he cares in every regard EXCEPT actually doing his job. He would become extremely defensive and annoyed whenever questioned or pushed back on why he wasn’t doing his job. This even extended to remembering simple details, something you would expect of an attorney, but which he was very inept at. Do not hire Michael, and if the court appoints him to you, ask for another lawyer.

I have a sick wife who is an addict. Her sickness became an issue in our relationship, so i seperated from her around October 2019. Covid pandemic hit in March of 2020 and she returned to me pregnant. I cred fornher and insisted she go to rehab if not for just her sake the babies health as well. She went but still had issues with her recovery. When the time came to deliver there were issues with hospitals in Austin violating our rights so we left those institutions against medical advise. Doing so is a right that we are all afforded when we feel the care provided is inadequate and unconstitutional. Fast forward and the baby is born into a respectful institution professional and appropriate. CPS was called. I had fought off officers verbally for over a week and was emotionally and physically drained fefending my and my sick wifes rights to bear our child in any way we saw fit. CPS provided an attorneys to represent each of us. I was given this one. CPS's commissioner sent me a letter clearing me of any wrong doing. This "attorney" who claimed he was representing me would not defend my constitutional rights. He would side with the CPS in just about every matter. Being an attorney provided by the state of Texas, employed through the state of Texas, his interest and loyalties fall there. He wouldnt defend me from his own employer(the state), while misrepresenting himself as "my" attorney. If you want to be misrepresented, lied to and colluded with the opposition in your child case then by all means he is your guy. I wouldnt recommend him to represent anyone for as much as a parking ticket. Good luck to whoever uses this "attorney".

International "legal giant" Holland Knight has continuously refused to provide my legal files while abetting Alex "Sandy Hook" Jones's ongoing conspiracy with their former law partner Eric Taube whom they continued to advertise as a "trusted advisor" while having transcripts of Taube's inconsistent sworn statements/perjury in the hearing on my Motion to Disqualify in in U.S. Bankruptcy Court (Tex. W. D. Bank. 20-10118) when he appeared directly adverse to my interests (while concurrently representing me in ravis Co. TX Case No. D-1-GN-07-000618), which he directly countermanded when impeached in Travis Co. TX Case No. D-1-GN-18-001610, admitting that he did represent me. This fraud is not just bad for me, but it involves property that Taube conspiratorially formed in breaches of duty to me and to the entities he advised me to form, one of which he represented (without waiver or disclosure of conflict of interest (Free Speech Systems, LLC)) with Alex Jones, David Jones, and Carol Jones, whose tortious interference, fiduciary breaches, fraudulent transfers and fraud have been ongoing for over ten years. He has a brief case but, will issued my court dates on scrap piece of paper... He never spent anytime discussing the case before trying to enter a plea deal for something I did not even do. The plea deal would include restitution to a person who recovered their belongings, in the meantime the person who actually committed the crime is out free with a history of 18+ convictions, and I have been forgotten in court. I was forced to walk in and ask to reset my date because my attorney forgot me and was busy in an other courtroom. Do yourself a favor read reviews and interview multiple attorneys, ask questions, you livelihood is important. It is never too late to live right.

Reuben is an attorney for a company I worked for. He demonstrates a disdain for females in the work place whom he badgers and harasses with demeaning insults, claims of their victimhood, repeatedly implying they are stupid, accusations of lying, and consistently trying to demonstrate his superiority. This is a pattern of behavior. He is toxic. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Mr. Wolff was my attorney at TJH for nearly
nine months. During his time as my attorney, I was preparing for a court date in September 2023. I would call to speak to him and he never called me back. When my court date approached, I called to make sure he abd my legal team were prepared, being reassured they were. Mr. Wolff, never did anything in my case, never deposed the other parties in my case and left the firm. I found out he never did anything on my case, the nine months he had it, and my new attorney had to reschedule my court date for September 2024, despite this firm having my case since January 2020.

I applied for an H1b visa on April of 2013. I wasn't aware about how the whole process worked but, I trusted the immigration lawyers my employer hired to deal with my case.
I did not get the H1b that year but, I got it on 2014 and everything went smoothly with another law firm.
To sum up the awful turn of events:
1- They never made aware of an existing lottery for the H1b that year
2- They had my employer fill a job description the wrong way. This caused my paperwork to be returned
3- I didn't have my professional license issued until July ( Dentist License) but, they said "it was ok" because they would create a different position on the job description and then change the job title once the visa was approved
4- I was selected on the lottery BUT the job description this law office invented, would not qualify for an H1b. This made my denied to be denied
5- I was only made aware of all this mess they created on the same week I was supposed to start working on a 6-figure job
6- I had to stay overseas for an extra 9 months due to this until I was able to get another job. This created a huge financial burden on me and my family (wife and baby)
7- After all this unprofessional mess they created, the best was left for last. They offered me to come on a H3 visa (which is for exchange students-NOT WORKING VISA) to work on that same position. In other words, they suggested that I WORKED ILLEGALLY in the USA, which could of course, compromise my entire life in this country.
I was lucky enough to get referred to another lawyers before I talked to these people again. Now, I live in the US working on an academic position and will finally get to my dream job this year.
The lawyers that handed my case ( a true mess) were Maggie and Ajmera.
Do yourself a favor and look for someone else

Brittany was and is to this day the worst mistake I have ever made in my life. It was insane right from the start and looking back I should have known something was wrong. First off she does not have experience in Travis County Family Court and was transplanted from Williamson County where she "says" she has lots of experience.
1) She failed to explain to me what I was signing and what It meant legally.
2) She failed to gain knowledge or advice from her team who had more experience and what I am left with is a shocking situation that looks like I was taken advantage of, to anyone that looks at my case.
3) She allowed things to happen (maybe unknowingly) that can not be reversed. Trust me, Ignorance has no bliss in this situation.
I am still fighting my divorce after 2.5 years and now that I have a "real lawyer", (At a lower cost) I understand what Brittany was lacking the entire time. KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE.
Please do yourself and your family a favor and choose another lawyer and FIRM.

I had hired Ms. Connor for a de novo in a family law case. We had already spoken at length about the case prior to her being retained, so that by the time of our first meeting, we were able to quickly come to an agreement on both strategy & tactics. However, the next day, she called me and kept going around in circles rationalizing that agreement, which began to raise a red flag in my mind as she was now billing me, but I remained calm & patient, figuring that she just wanted to be cautious. But the day after that, she began hitting me with one email after another, revisiting issues that had already been put to bed, and that's when I realized that this was her MO. She ran up my time needlessly, treating my retainer as a carte blanche. Any doubts about Ms. Connor's motives were completely dispelled when I received her first billing statement. On it, she had charged me for her fee agreement, in addition to all those useless chatter mentioned above. Seriously? I'm being asked to pay for a template which spells out how much I'm to pay for her services. Imagine having to pay an extra fee for a hotel to provide you with a standard contract listing their nightly rate, or a financial advisor for their fee agreement. This is both ridiculous and outrageous!
Do some internet research on Ms. Connor and you will learn a lot which may cause you to pause for thought. I've learned my lesson. You don't have to repeat my mistake.

I filed for divorce in May of 07, I called the Divorce Dept of Austin today and they told me it was dismissed in 8/29/08 because of inactivity. She did nothing after she filed the papers, she has been pd in full already. I have been talking to her and she has done nothing but feed me lies. If she does not get anything done soon I am reporting her to the texas Bar.

Although Ms. Gauthier came highly recommended, it was obvious to me as her client that she is 'riding the coat tails' of an important victory that took place early in her career as a defense attorney. Her reputation seems to be well deserved from the past, however does not translate into her present level of professionalism or efforts towards her clients. In my experience with her, she failed to put forth much of an effort towards my case despite the enormity of evidence in my favor. She also failed to keep me informed and was difficult to reach by phone or in person. When discussing legal aspects of my case that she was not knowledgeable in, her response was generally " I don't know" ...( and I am not interested in finding out ).

I had a broken leg. Acted like he didn't know or care. Took my Drivers license away from me and would not respond. Same result from Greg Abbott, his boss, I wrote letters, emails, called and called. Explained my problems about employment. Searched earnestly for work. Class C drivers Lic. required. Got a job and risked all my efforts to find the job and the job it's self, and the potential for them to take child support by continuing to drive illegal. No response. That's about irresponsible.

I never met Shawn. Shawn, never seemed to give me the impression that he ever wanted to meet me in person. I never felt confident that he would give me his best and not just settling for his cut. I hired this attorney to represent me in a professional licensing issue. His firm drained $39,297 from me on a license defense for me and didn't earn a fraction of it. He treated me with anger and verbal aggression. Rather than answering simple questions that would have easily resolved problems in the way he was handling my case, he chose to scream at me, terminate me as a client without stating why, and just hang up on me. He left me "high & dry" without providing any referrals for a new attorney. He and his staff was very defensive all along about how I my trust fund was specifically being used by his firm. I continuously had to ask for simple ledger sheets that showed how my funds went into my trust account and how they were removed from it. His firm is very resistant to provide simple ledger sheets about the accountability of your trust funds. They insist that you just "trust them completely" about their use of your funds and not question how the money specifically flows in and out of your account. If my trust fund account fell below a certain amount, rather that notifying me of such, he and other staff members would just discontinue talking to me. He spend money from my trust account without my permission and without obtaining specific documentation proof that the money was even due. I've never in the past have a legal firm treat me this way. If you are not willing to accept charges to your account without proper, easy to follow accounting for it; and will not tolerate being treated in a very aggressive manner if you question your trust account at all, you will want to avoid using this attorney and the firm he works for.
