Just as I was dealing with a very difficult situation, I got lucky and came across Ms. Jayne who listened and advised with patience and kindness. Julia is a great lawyer, and has the skills and personality you want to represent you and negotiate on your behalf. My case involved a settled outcome that satisfied the prosecutor, and she was just brilliant at that. She is very responsive and gave me good advice early in my case, of course. But after the initial stage, she really went into overdrive, and recognized that she had an opportunity with this prosecutor to get my case dismissed. She knew an expert who did an effective evaluation and used another expert also in an artful way. She was correct that this would satisfy the prosecutor, and made it happen.
She's one of those rare high-EQ people that works so well with persons, but who uses the rapport she builds to get a good outcome. She had a great strategy, and inspired a lot of confidence.
I would hire her for any lawyer work, but also for any negotiation, which I think requires even more skill and talent.

This review is long overdue. I was desperately looking for information about possibly getting an LPR for my son who is born outside the US. I was outside the US at the time, so I posted my questions on avvo and ither legal free forum but only few responded with real answer, most of the lawyers basically said they can’t answered now but to make appointment with them which mean money first. But Mr. Maina kindly answered most of my questions and scheduled a free conference call with me & my husband to answer more questions that we had. He was straightforward and clear on the instructions of what we had to do prior coming to the US and when we made it to the US he even gave us consultation in his office & told us the form to filed and the next step to do without paying anything. My son got into some trouble before Covid hit and of course he had just turned 18, without Mr. Joseph Mastro Attorney-at-Law this could have been much worse. We called so many lawyers and no one would return our calls or they told us they were to busy. Mr. Mastro answered and spent about a half hour just talking to us, he did not ask for money to talk to us, just gave us some advice which he did not need to do without payment.
Since no-one in my family has ever been in legal trouble before we were overwhelmed and wanted to be safe so we hired him on the spot, Mr. Mastro walked my son and us through the steps and was able to get the case dismissed. Luckily this was an eye opening event for my son and he has learned a lesson, something so small can have the potential to screw up the rest of your life.
Thank you again Mr. Mastro for walking us through the process and helping get this case resolved, I hope we never have to use your services again but we will always keep your information for emergencies.

In the past I have consulted another patent attorney about my invention, tho’ he had an academic degree in mechanical engineering, to my amazement he had a difficulty in conceptualizing the merit of my invention. His question was [what are you trying to patent?] After I have explained the unique mechanical functioning of my device and for the reason it was invented he still thought that I had nothing much to patent.
On the other hand Sharon Jane Adams Patent attorney, had no trouble in grasping and comprehending the concept of my invention, and neither did the patent examiner I also found her to be well mechanically inclined and able to grasp and understand mechanical functioning, so As a result she was effective in obtaining three overlapping patents in my behalf.

It has been 3 years since Jeffrey Wolfert took my case, and I am Happy to Report that my case has come to a close. It's was a real bumpy ride, however Mr. Wolfert and his staff stood by me and gave me the support and attention my case needed. Mr. Wolfert was able to secure a substantial settlement on my behalf, I wanted a Compromise and Release settlement and that he got for me, with my up front Medical Set Aside, along with the annual payout for Medical Services, I will NEVER have to go through the Insurance Company EVER to receive the ongoing care I will need for the rest of my life. I came to Mr. Tomasik from another attorney who was not capable of handling my particular case. I found his website while searching the internet for a personal injury attorney. I called the office and briefly spoke to Jessie, the assistant who was so polite and patient with me on the phone. She informed me that Mr. Tomasik agreed to meet up with me the same day. On my way to Berkley, I was very nervous as to how things were going to turn out because after all, I had such a bad experience with my previous lawyer. IAt the same time, I had serious painful health issues resulting from my car accident with which I had to deal with on a daily basis. Having to deal with terrible physical pain and looking for a different attorney for myself was very stressful for me. I arrived to Mr. Tomasik's Berkley office and upon entering I almost immediately felt comfortable. Mr. Tomasik got some information from me about my situation and how unhappy and disappointed I was in my previous lawyer. Like I said, at the time of my meeting with him, I was feeling very sick due to my injuries but Mr. Tomasik made me feel so comfortable. I was so glad that he was willing to take on my case. From then on, I don't have anything but all the positive things to say about Mr. Tomasik. He was always there to answer any questions I had along the way. I could reach him at all times. I couldn't reach my previous lawyer for weeks and I am not exagerating. I thought that was normal for lawyers not to call back promptly until I hired Mr. Tomasik. Most importantly, Mr. Tomasik treated me like family. He fought so hard for me to the end. Upon reading the other testimonials, I have come to realize that each case Mr. Tomasik takes on, he takes it very seriously and does not give up until he gets the best compensation. Ed was referred to me via one of the best real estate agents in Sonoma County, Peg King. I tried to find someone in Sonoma County, but I was not impressed with the referrals.

I am eternally grateful for the representation I received from CASP. After a horrible experience with a dentist, I wrote a review on Yelp! so that other patients could avoid what I went through. Unfortunately, the dentist filed a SLAPP against me and claimed my review had caused her to suffer economic losses. I contacted Cassidy Toles to first consult and take my case in a legal matter that honestly had me up at night for weeks. He broke it down for me, giving me the reasons why it was happening the way it was, potential outcomes, the course of action to take, and that while he was willing to take the case, he strongly recommended another lawyer that he "would call upon himself" if he got into trouble.

After a relationship ended, I found myself in litigation -- a situation I would not willingly choose. Dividing property became impossible when my former partner adopted an extreme position and doubled down on it. Sunena helped me defend myself through many steps of the legal process. Working with Markus and his paralegal was as stress free as a personal injury suit against the federal government could be. He helped us put together a compelling case, gathered evidence with us, drafted the complaint and ultimately settled the case. During COVID we communicated very easily by phone and email. Robert Cheasty represented me after a very bad car accident back in 2008. My car was totaled and the other party was hospitalized due to broken ribs. I was so scared because I had the minimum coverage that I haven't made any change for 10 years, but he helped me settled that case within a year. The insurance covered all costs without me paying anything.
Cheasty's assistant lawyer was very helpful too when I did real estate in 2012. She went beyond what she needed to do and pointed out how I could pay more taxes if I did the way I wanted to do. They really care about their clients.
Cheasty's law firm also did an excellent job for my friend's former boss. She had a lawsuit that several lawyers refused to take, but Cheasty took it and did extensive research on both his professional area and medical field. He also found a good doctor to review the medical record and prove that the death was not related to her. That have brought back her peace.
This was the reason I chose this law firm for my cases.

Larry represented me against my former employer - a popular and well resourced tech company in the Bay Area - to negotiate an improved severance agreement. A number of other attorneys to whom I had spoken before Larry were less than optimistic about my chances for success, but Larry agreed to take my case and persevered through some relatively involved negotiations and was able to obtain a severance package that allowed me to realize a significantly larger portion of my compensation than I was initially offered!
He was calm, professional, and reassuring throughout, explaining the process clearly along the way, and scheduled time to talk with me in advance of deadlines when decisions had to be made so I would have time to think and ask any additional questions, if I had them, through each of the stages of that negotiation.
I was particularly impressed by his ability to forge a good working relationship with the company's representatives and make steady progress despite the friction between myself and ex-employer, and tension in the situation due to upcoming deadlines for both sides.

This review is long overdue. I reached out to Joel in 2018 after being self represented for the majority of my divorce proceedings. I needed help with finalizing the remaining steps in my divorce.
