I was served a deposition subpoena to testify in a family dispute in which I had avoided becoming involved two weeks before trial. Another lawyer referred me to Rick to advise and represent me at the deposition. Although the trial attorney wouldn’t cancel the deposition, Rick bargained to limit the deposition to only two hours and defended me capably during the deposition. I hope never to need an attorney again for this reason, but would be glad to hire Rick again or recommend him to friends.

Attorney Redmond did an excellent job in my case winning a contempt of court petition on my ex who willfully withheld my access to our child and made my child and me go through intense anguish. Mr. Redmond had excellent court presence and was very well prepared with questions, evidence and objections. He knew the law. The court also placed sanctions on my ex and granted me attorney's fees. A huge victory during a very difficult time. I thank God for bringing this attorney to me during a time of crisis. The best attorney I have had in 9 years.

He was with me every step of the way. From intial consult, to awaiting a mediation date, follow up calls and emails and sitting face to face with the company at the EEOC. Very honest on the possible outcomes, followed up promptly with my questions and concerns, and was very empathic with me. He was able to resolve my matter to the best of his ability and quickly, despite the fact I lived 2 hours away didn't stop the satisfactory outcome. Unfortunately my Mother passed away without having a Will or any of her Estate affairs in order. Prior to my mothers passing I had never handled an Estate before. I contacted a few attorneys but didn't feel they were the right fit for all of the complications pertaining to the Estate. Some attorney's weren't even willing to take it on. A neighbor of mine (who is an attorney) suggested that I contact Mr. Andre McDonald to handle my Mothers Estate. After our initial phone consultation, I knew immediately that he was the the right fit for all that needed to be accomplished. It was around the holidays. Mr. McDonald went above and beyond the typical duties that involve getting an Estate opened. He stayed involved and was on top of every aspect regarding the Estate throughout the entire process. He followed through with getting the Estate closed in a timely fashion. Mr. McDonald was very professional and knew exactly what to do and how to handle the Estate. He was always informative and reliable. Mr. McDonald always personally returned my phone calls and my emails in a timely manner. I was rear ended in an accident by a vehicle that had no valid insurance and Mr. Bergman came highly recommended by a friend who was a prior client. This was not my first rodeo being in a motor vehicle accident my first experience being injured and represented. Mr. Bergman and his team were so helpful in explaining my rights, referring me to great doctors, and answering any questions I had along the way during my case. Thanks to the great medical team that was recommend by Mr. B I was lucky to fully recover from my injuries and get a great settlement from the insurance company at the end of my case. I was in a horrible accident where I was hit and run by a racer on the 270 MD and I suffered the most life changing injuries. I was recommend to Scott because he has represented my family members and immediately he referred me to the best network of doctors that he works with to take care of me. I ended up having surgery to fix my right knee and if it wasn’t for Mr. Bergman and the doctors advocating for my care and case, I wouldn’t have received the settlement I got. Allstate was putting up a HUGE fight not wanting to settle my case without reviewing all my documents even though I had a case worth greater than the limits of their policy. Mr. Bergman put Allstate in their place and got every penny available that was on the table. The money that I have gained from this experience is blood money and doesn’t begin to cover the pain and suffering that my family and I have suffered but it does help reset for lost time. I want to also share a story about my best friend that died a year and half prior to my accident, who got t-boned, said he was fine, and then the following day died because he had a hemorrhage in his brain. Please, whoever is reading this, if you have been in even the smallest of accidents, GET CHECKED OUT BY MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS, you never know. I highly recommend Mr. Bergman and his team, they fight for EVERYTHING!

I got t-boned one morning on my way to work when someone didn’t stop at a stop sign and I found myself being a victim of a car accident for the second time, my first experience I took no action, and I do regret that. I was not sure what to do but Mr. Bergman educated me on everything when it came to the claims process and healing after being injured in a car accident. I found David Briglia via Google search specifically looking for a lawyer specializing in physician employment contracts. Having already utilized a different professional to handle negotiations regarding compensation, I needed a lawyer to handle the legal nuances of the agreement.
Mr. Briglia was excellent in all respects and exceeded my expectations. He was responsive, accessible, and flexible. The costs of his services were all laid out clearly and very fair. He was clear in his communications with careful attention to detail and precision which I found highly reassuring coming from someone who was expected to evaluate contracts with a fine tooth comb. Based on our arrangement, Mr. Briglia also was able to interact with my future employer's counsel to prevent any miscommunication and expedite the process. His interactions with them, as with me, were all highly professional and non-confrontational in tone.
Even though most of the negotiations were complete by the time I worked with Mr. Briglia, he was still able to negotiate some other aspects of the agreement in my favor. He patched up any leaks in the contract wording to protect me from potential hassles in the future.
In summary, the highlights of working with Mr. Briglia were his attention to detail, prompt responsiveness, and perhaps most importantly, his ability to give me confidence that his counsel led to a highly satisfactory result.

I had a two hour consultation with Mr. Lastra concerning my pending divorce and custody matter.
I have multiple children with my spouse, including a stepchild from their previous marriage whose life I've been a part of since they were very little. Shortly into our meeting, Mr. Lastra asked me about my children and whether our relationship was biological, and then explained very compassionately that - unfortunately - if it were contested by either or both of their biological parents, he would not be able to guarantee me custody of or access to my stepchild as a de facto parent. He assured me that if he were representing me and I truly did want to pursue it against all odds that he would do everything in his power to help, but cautioned that it would likely be a long and costly uphill battle with an uncertain outcome.
As heartbreaking as that was to hear, Mr. Lastra was the first lawyer to really prioritize and ask about my concerns for the children rather than choose to focus on my spouse and our finances and marital property. His honesty about that - the one outcome I care most about - gave me peace of mind that he wasn't just telling me what I want to hear to get me to sign his retainer.
Additionally, while his consultation was not free, without my even having to ask, Mr. Lastra was extremely considerate of my budget. At the very beginning of the meeting, he verified the hourly rate that I had been quoted previously and told me how long his consultations with other people typically lasted. Then, every twenty minutes or so, he was kind enough to let me know how much billable time had elapsed and allowed me to set the pace of our discussion accordingly.
Throughout the rest of our meeting, Mr. Lastra was both extremely inquisitive and educational. Rather than simply listen to my account of events, he engaged frequently, asking regular questions and taking notes. He also shared a wealth of his own knowledge, pulling from both general law and process as well as experiences gained from similar cases he'd handled in the past. During our consultation, I felt both well listened to and that I was speaking with an obvious expert.
Prior to our meeting, I had discussed this matter with a few other lawyers, and while they were all quite professional and empathetic, none of them felt like they were being as realistic with me about the possible timelines, outcomes, costs, and the availability of themselves and their associates to adequately represent me and my family's interests as Mr. Lastra did. Though his rates are above average, my first impression from my consultation is that there is very good justification for it. He has absolutely earned my endorsement.
