I unequivocally recommend Holland, Holland Edwards, and Grossman. Like most who need their services, we came to them during extremely difficult circumstances after a wrongful death, a death that left behind 5 children. Anna and Erica were our champions. They advocated for us not only to get the compensation due to allow the children to be supported and to receive ongoing therapy for the awful situation, but Anna and Erica also were driven to make sure that this awful situation never happened to anyone else. I cannot think more highly of a human being than I do of Erica Anderson.
She was never my actual legal representation so I can't speak to that. But what I can speak to is that Erica is a genuine, quality human being that cares about people. And she would be my first choice as a defense attorney in a heartbeat.
I called almost every single law office in Denver, scared, trying to get through to anyone, leaving messages asking for legal advice. Not even for defense advice, but as to what I should do about a really scary boyfriend situation. I paid a hundred bucks just to talk to someone at a different firm for 10 minutes who said there was nothing I could do. And I kept getting back receptionist emails like "Sorry. We don't handle those types of cases, just call the police."
Erica Anderson is the only person that called me back. At 6pm on a Friday. Just to help walk me through the next steps I should take. Kind of embarrassing but she probably listened to me cry for at least an hour.
Erica was there for me when no one else was and gave me the confidence to move forward with prosecution.

Ms. Threet provided legal counsel for a domestic violence charge I acquired in 2006. She advised me of my legal rights and explained to me the legal process. In 2007 and 2008 the construction firm for whom I worked as HR Manager had an employment claim filed by a former employee who felt he was wrongly classified as a non-exempt employee. In our relationship with the law firm, Diane started in a supporting role but saw her role in the case expand when the lead attorney left to join another firm. Diane clearly understood the world of construction and showed the capability to apply employment law principles to the realities of construction work. Diane was always well-prepared and had examined every possible detail of the case prior to a meeting or hearing. As my company's representative for this case, I had complete confidence in Diane's work, which then provided good reason to have confidence in her legal opinions.
I found Diane to be very professional and personable while also showing consideration toward our running legal costs. This combination is sometimes rare among attorneys. I recommend Diane completely.

Teresa was recommended to me by someone in a mom's group. I left her a voicemail after checking out her website (she has a firm with her husband). She texted me after trying my number but my voicemail was full. We scheduled a call the next day and we spoke for about an hour about my situation regarding possible lawsuit for child custody or visitation in a very complex IVF case also involving stored embryos. I felt immediately at ease with Teresa. I'd previously spoken to 2 other lawyers and by comparison, Teresa didn't evoke fear in me of worst case scenarios or act like a power lawyer caring most about ego and track record of "winning." Instead she exuded a calm, reassuring confidence, asking all the right background questions and walking me through the way the law works and courses of action and strategy, Teresa was very understanding and giving of her time, not only with the call but with some research she did and follow up off the clock and in a way that would protect my privacy. It was very clear she cared. I highly recommend Teresa.

I, as General Counsel, retained Mr. Lasater for the purpose of pursuing a claim against a faulty software product that didn't operate as offered. It was a complex case with a plethora of legal documents and issues of contract, choice of law, intellectual property, and generally litigation. His advice in the prepatory phase was honest, cost effective, no nonsense possibilities and issues. He became familiar with a large number of technical people on both sides, the technical issues of both hardware and software, some issues of securities and generally made my job simple. He also paid attention to detail in the process of depositions all while also noticing details at our location that divulged information about the defendant that had a serious impact on their position.
