I went through a horrible custody battle with my ex-wife that last 6 months, including false allegations of child abuse. The support, guidance, and fight from Scott was probably one of the greatest things I've ever witnessed, professionally. His final case was so well-written, so thorough and logical. We won every time we went to court and ended up settling out of court, saving even more money. If you want little emotion, but logic and reason, go with Scott, since that is all the courts really end up caring about. He was calm, collected, and have everything in order, every time.

In November 2019, I applied for EB-2 National Interest Waiver and in July 2021 I received Notice of Intend of Denial which made clear to me that my lawyer didn't include all the supporting documents and even omitted mistakes in my initial application. I realized that my lawyer ruined my case and that’s why I started to look for a new lawyer and I talked with 6-7 different law firms hoping that there will be a lawyer who can help me. Some of them were unwilling to take my case as they would not be able to help and some of them refused as we had limited time.
Before Sidman Law Group I had hired a second lawyer to handle my case but he was not helpful too. I began searching for the best immigration lawyers in LA and Orange County and came across with Sidman Law Group. I called the company and explained my problem to Mr. Bernard Sidman and he immediately showed interest in my case.
They gave me a free appointment to discuss my case, and after only 1 hour they were confident my case could be won. I felt that this was the first law firm that truly cared about me, and I felt I could trust them to handle my immigration. Bernard Sidman and Nick Sidman were able to give my family and I hope after it was so close to being lost.
We had only 1 month after they took the case. They assembled over 530 pages of supporting documents to respond to the Notice of Intent of Denial with logical and legitimate reasons for any discrepancies. Everything was handled very professionally.
We were very glad that we finally found the lawyers who will be there for us every time we need them.
My I-140 was approved within 2 months, and my I-765 and I-131 were approved just 2 months later. I could not be more impressed, and grateful about the outcome of my case after working with Nick and Bernard from Sidman Law Group, and I would give them the highest recommendation to anyone struggling with immigration issues.

I had a tainted contact lens that left me legally blind in one eye (3 months later I regained most of vision, thankfully.)
I called numerous attorneys and none would take such a "Risky case" with tricky insurance issues, as well.
Thank goodness I found Ms Vahdat (Amy). Amy accepted my case, addressed the insurance issue and settled my "Risky" case, in a timely manner with a far larger settlement than I expected.
Along with her phenomenal "hard" skills, (i.e., above) Ms Vahdat displays "soft" skills. She is honest, compassionate, listens exceptionally well, returns calls prompty and authentically cares about her clients.
She is young (in age not experience) and pretty. I assumed she was a junior associate attorney even I had her business card that revealed she owns the firm.
My only complaint is that she doesn't handle *all* legal problems in *all* states. That is impossible, though.

Ms. Vahdat is a very hard working attorney. She made me feel very comfortable in her office and made me feel like a human being once again after suffering serious injuries in my car accident. Ms. Vahdat and her staff went above and beyond to ensure I was always kept up to date with my case, the applicable law, and everything that was going on with my case. I was advised every step of the way of how the law works. Overall Ms. Vahdat made me comfortable during this entire ordeal. She definitely has very high standards and ethics. When you meet Amy, her approach and tone of voice makes you instantly feel comfortable. This is especially important when you have suffered a traumatic injury like I did. I admire Ms. Vahdat for her work and ethics.

I was severely injured when my contractor failed to properly install the cabinets in my kitchen almost 4 years ago. Another attorney was handling my case against Sears. After almost 3 years that attorney could not get anywhere with my case that he he filed suit on. I took my case took Amy. She moved my trial date to a later date in hopes of settling the case with another mediator. She was able to settle my case, negotiate all of my medical liens and still make sure I got a good settlement figure in my pocket!!! She is amazing, caring and attentive. She did magic when another attorney (who is much older than her!!) could not!

I really wish I had not used this firm! It’s been over a year since my accident, going on 2 years but the insurance has paid and all the bills have been paid! The lady that answers the phone doesn’t have any kind of true customer satisfaction skills at all! She told me my claim is complete but then says that it takes time to make sure all is paid! There should not be a complete ID there’s still bills to pay!
And my case manager is so non informational during this process! When I ask about my settlement I’m told that billing delivers checks 2-3 times a month and there’s been no deliveries this month! WOW! Wonder why this is?
There are so many other injury firms, choose one of them not this one, you’ll be disappointed!

just picked up my check today and I am more than satisfied. I was involved in a rear end accident about 6 months ago. The damage on my car wasn't major. Sterin law provided exceptional service from start to finish. The case managers were on top of my case and they always answered my questions. They didn't make me feel like I was annoying them every time I called. I had a lot of questions because I didn't know how the legal process works but it felt like I was in good hands along the way. The settlement number was more than I expected and I appreciated that Mr sterin gave me options in regards to accepting my settlement or going through with litigation against the person who hit me. To say the least this was a pleasant experience and not something I expected when dealing with lawyers.

I hired her to handle a felony I was charged with. The problem was where the cops lied in their police report. She was really good at explaining everything to me because I was very nervous. She didn't always retunr phone calls right away but she is pretty busy and she did eventually return my calls. She was able to reduce my charge to a misdimenoer and I got probation and will expunge it from my record. She did a very good job overall.

Martin Pines is a savy guy great communicator very likeable, i felt he did a good job, however in all criminal cases people expect more. I felt he could have done better but then again things could have been worse. He was a public defender for over 5yrs before working in private practice, he has the expierence thats for sure how much legal juice he's got i dont know..I would still give him a B to B+ grade.

I hired her as a family lawyer to get me child support from a completed Dissomaster that was completed by my previous attorney (in over a year she never got me anything nor was anything filed in court), she was to help with a breech of fiduciary responsibility (which is why I overturned a free hybrid judgment, never did anything), show the court the perceived neglect of my children from my ex (from many pictures and testimonial from people) never requested a court date, the divorce itself as I requested a trial and trial setting conference. She claimed she was super busy so I emailed her that she should put it on a date she could attend but, she booked it on dates she could not be there, she burned up my retainer, $3,000.00 and I supposedly owe her more for literally NOTHING COMPLETED. She filed a motion to be relieved after I went to court to find it had been taken off the calendar without notifying me. Now, I have two upcoming court dates with no family lawyer to represent me and a mediation conference. She worked with my Civil lawyer who said she was incompetent or surely extremely lazy. She seems to be in law to make money and not represent the clients with their best interest a heart. Many times I felt she was asking me for advice or to make decision that a well-versed lawyer
should be advising me on. We met initially in an office that was not her own, she never wanted to talk or meet face to iron out our plans or streamline the process for me. Ultimately she made excuses for failures and gaslighted me as if I were a lawyer ( would never step by step walk me through a process to complete anything and she would not complete anything). If you are treated like me she will take your ($5,000) money and charge you to make requests or send emails that she won't fulfill or complete while your conversations and email cost you, and she will make sure your retainer is vanishing talking to opposing counsel while accomplishing nothing. Instead of working harder or smarter, her true nature will come out and she will quit instead of doing what you paid her for. She also predicted Judge Silberman's responses or what she thought he would do to make excuses for why she couldn't or wouldn't do her job.

Attorney Flier had been beyond negligent of my case. I was oblivious as to how irresponsible he had been with my case because he had not kept in contact with me, allowing for the case to escalate despite charging me $3000. He no longer returns any calls or emails. Please take my advice and AVOID him at all costs. It’s disappointing to see an attorney soley in the field for the money. I was a little skeptical with all the bad reviews but I had to see for myself because my friend spoke highly of her. I set up a meeting with the attorney and she explained everything to me and has been by my side every step of the way. Honestly this was my first accident in 30 yrs I didn't know what to do or where to go. They helped me get my car repaired and my doctor for my therapy's was so sweet, I enjoined visiting her office. I hired Mr. Gersh and his entire firm for a multi-million dollar business dispute with exigencies that required immediate and expert action. I was promised both. I received neither.
Four weeks later having received almost NO action, still not being in Court, seeing what I felt was terrible work product, having virtually no questions asked by any of them about the facts nor answers to almost any of my questions, I fired Gersh. For work that was worth between $0.00 and negative $0.00 in my opinion, and that even an average first year lawyer I believe could have done far better, Mr. Gersh has billed me for about $60,000, keeping my $40,000 deposit, and claiming that I owe him $20,000. He seems to delegate by far most of his work to lawyers that seem to have almost no business in a case of my magnitude, and personally, I think he was not honest, competent, or a good attorney. I do not know about anyone else who has come into contact with him but the way I see it, he and his firm ripped me off!

I hired this lawyer a few years ago but I did not put in a review then because I thought I was the one who was at fault on what happened to my immigration case. I prefer not to tell you the whole story but rather would like to let the people especially those who are looking for immigration lawyer to be aware of how this law office works. Atty. David Sturman is ok but since he is the only lawyer in his firm he is constantly unindated with questions from his staff. When I came to see him I paid $100.00 for a supposedly 1 hr consultation. It turned out I was short changed coz his staff will come and interrupt our session with all sorts of questions. His phone rang off the hook too and he picked it up and answer. Altho' he will apologize for the phone interruptions. His paralegal, Laurel is so unprofessional especially in emails and when u talk to her on the phone. There was once an instance where I was the one who gave her a form I asked from USCIS and she didn't even know the form to think that this form was not new. She never returned my phone calls and always late in replying to emails. I would definitely NOT recommend this law office to my family or friends as I don't want to jeopardize my relationship with them. Definitely not worth hiring. BEWARE!

I am a CPA and have worked with quite a few of my clients' trust attorneys so I have a basis of comparison. I had Mr. Stern do my wife and my Will and Living Trust and also my Mother's Will and Living Trust. There were some possible issues with some potential beneficiaries who would not be pleased with our bequests and Ellis made some very intelligent and caring suggestions as to how these potential problems could be solved with the least possibility of any litigation in the future. Certainly not looking to generate extra fees.
His fees were well within the going rates in Encino and actually, I was surprised at how reasonable they were for the services performed. At all times, Mr. Stern acted ethically and this is quite important to me being a CPA. For disclosure, other then Mr. Stern doing my personal work, I have never had any business relationship with him for myself or my clients.
I obviously only can speak to my own experiences with Mr. Stern in relationship to the experiences. I think I have a good background as a CPA to judge an attorneys work, ethics and professionalism and it is difficult for me to believe that this is the same person I have dealtt with over the years.

Ellie is one of the most amazing attorney's I have ever met. I was going through a terrible 3 year divorce. All the other attorney's only cared about racking up more fees. Not settling. A friend of mine recommended Ellie and Michele. Ellie was there for me 100%. She tried her best to keep fees down. She is very compassionate, smart, and knows which angel to approach any situation. These women are kind "Pit Bulls with Lipstick". When we finally went to trial, I will never forget Ellie's words "I am worried about you, do not worry. I have your back". She most certainly did. After my case if I was her I would quit! It was the biggest nightmare ever, and she stood by my side and made sure we prevailed. I strongly recommend her.

In each case, he established his agenda requiring us to be flexible in our perspective. In several cases (two in court), he always prevailed in our favor. Jonathon Gabriel Is not what he professed to be! He promised me everything and delivered on nothing! All I heard were excuses from him and his assistant David! For instance "Jonathan can't take your calls because he's got dental problems and I was at the dentist last week!! "David who along with Jonathon have a condescending attitude, they both talk over you and quite frankly don't want to hear what you have to say when questioned!! They failed to get the information needed for the Bond and I had to get the information and Supply them with it at which point they still failed to act on it for another 4 months Never Keeping Me apprised of what was going on or how much money they were spending. After 9 months and exhausting the money that I had given them they have the audacity to ask for more money! Guess what my response was your fired!! I hired a new attorney who did more in one month than he, Jonathon did in nine and a half months my recommendation is don't hire him he's a blow heart!! Im filing a complaint with the board!

He very knowledgeable about the law and was able to gave me his opinion through his experience with the law and the courtroom. He was patient in explaining the positives and negatives of the legal pursuits, along with the risks. I was especially impressed with his control and approach in the courtroom. He was direct, to the point, and would not back down. He won’t let go. He is excellent at arguing the law and questioning witnesses.

He really fought hard for me in court and wouldn't let go of any of the issues. He is excellent at his cross examination and very articulate and to the point. Showed very good knowledge of the law. Very experienced in knowing which judge and courthouse to file with in trying to get a favored outcome in court.
He took my calls all throughout the week and was patient and attentive to my concerns.

In my experience, this individual is an incredibly incompetent lawyer. I have serious doubts about their legal knowledge and suspect that they may have obtained their license from a less-than-reputable source. Recently, this person provided guidance to someone I know regarding an eviction issue, but they failed to achieve any results despite taking payment for their services.
